He makes Dadi and D'jaffo look talented. His very important goal was a case of right-place right-time. But I 100% agree he is being made to look good by those around him
-
And believe me, there's shit NZ squads and then there's the current crop who, Chris Wood aside, would get pumped by our part time women's team (no disrespect to our ladies)
-
Why are our ladies part-timers? Would've thought the collective state of AFC finances could afford to pay them pro contracts

Brand new team to the A League, Auckland FC are proving to be a bit of an enigma. Played 3, Won 3 in their inaugural season. They are my "local" team and the second NZ based team to feature in the A League. Watched them again today as they took on the Wellington Phoenix in their first ever derby match. The quality is definitely lacking, kind of reminds me of the quality of the Scottish Premier maybe around 25 to 30 years ago. Certainly interesting though, following a brand new team, with brand new fans, brand new songs, brand new rivalries, etc

Got to agree with that. I think this is where the run ends. Celtic won't ease up again like they did at the Tattiedome, Rodgers will make sure of that! But you can never say never with Thelins game management.

On JT to Ibrox, you also have to consider that Cormack seems to be letting Thelin run the footballing side of things, and he knows he's got a budget in January after not spending the Miovski megabucks. Ibrox is £17M in the hole, we on the other hand are solvent. JT would surely take all this into consideration. On what we need in Jan, the defence needs bolstering. Devlin and McKenzie have been brilliant, but the others are still a work in progress. We have also not got a proven goalscorer yet. Yes, Gueye will come back from injury. But he's not a tricky, skilful player who can hold onto that lone striker role efficiently. I quite fancy Jimmy to go and grab someone like Isaac Thelin from Malmo, who was top scorer in the Swedish Allsvenskan last year. The amount of chances we had in the first half vs Rangers, can you imagine how many of those a striker like Miovski would've buried? We could've been 3 or 4 up at half time with a proven striker Midfield doesn't need touched

Or a swap for Sokler. Girona still won't know the difference

https://www.nottheoldfirm.com/news/andrew-mckinlay-insists-hearts-not-giving-up-on-catching-aberdeen-as-he-talks-ambitions/ You couldn't make it up. They still think they can make 3rd this season. How about aiming for not-last ... cos that's where you are right now, you delusional bunch of Huns Without Busfares -
No but he scored for N Macedonia recently. i think that was his first goal anywhere since he left us. Really hope he comes good - a real gent OADAAD
-
I dunno what's better about this video. Watching Kiss Boys going absolutely mental at the Huns, Sutton trying his best not to piss himself with laughter, Or Joe Joe Super Joe just sitting there basking in the glory of yet another victory for the reds:

The Beeb's head-to-head analysis passed a comment that, since the SPFL rebrand in 2013, Tavernier has scored 13 goals against us (more than any other player against another club in that time). 11 of those have been from the spot

Peterhead vs Montrose could be interesting.

Being favourites going into any game makes me nervous. Going in as favourites against the Huns ... I seriously don't remember this happening before. Certainly not in the last 35 years. This scares me, and I hipe the squad is taking heed of Jimmy's call for humbleness The Huns seem to be grinding out results, but I dunno if that's just the nature of having significantly more skilled and higher value players coming up against much much weaker opposition. I don't think Jimmy will be able to foil them as easily as he foiled Goodwin. But he has a real knack of recognising when he has the wrong player on field, and isn't afraid to change tactics and personnel as soon as he sees it. For this reason, I think tactically we will overcome The Huns. It won't be easy. But I do think we will take the 3 points 2-1 Rubi and Clarkson. I also fancy Barron to be red carded

We are due a defeat. So when it comes, we should pre-empt our inevitable downfall by binning Thelin -

Was wondering why red n blue for us -
Looks like they only managed to raise £78k of their £200k target. Those funds are confirmed as going towards running the club whilst in administration, and won't go towards professional fees. Difficult times indeed, particularly as Duncan Ferguson had apparently been working for free for a while Club has been docked 15pts and are now bottom of League One on -3 pts

Ally "im really not bothered by Celtic. Honestly" McCoist calling for the handball rule to be reviewed as he saw it as completely unintentional. Whilst I would've loved Duk's goal to stand, changing the rules to allow for interpretation would create a generation of players who would "game it". On another note, anyone else notice the blatant cheating from the Tims? Specifically Johnson backing into Mitov twice, and Idah stepping into the newly created gap to tap the ball in? Ref quite rightly pulled them up for the first as Johnson bundled Mitov into the net. But Mitov was lucky not to give away a foul the second time simply by clearing the space immediately infront of him

MacDonald hasn't been the same since he was paired with Pollock. Unsure what is required for us to see him back to his best. Great to see the two Dundee teams putting up good fights. I much prefer them to the Jambos. Still, I think we will be too good for the Arabs, and Goodwin still isn't quite sure what to do when his teams are behind. 4-2 to the Reds McGrath, Nesbit, Duk, MacKenzie
-
Yes! McGinn in his prime was untouchable.
-
I reckon you can choose to pick players either on their form with us or their top form, up to you. Hector was a bit of magic in his time with us, so I'd go with that.
-
We were the nail in Beale's coffin. Wouldn't it be brilliant if we were also the nail in Clements' coffin? Although being honest I really don't think they can afford to sack him!
-
Was chatting with pals the other day on "what a team of your clubs former players would look like". The rules are all players need to still be playing. Ours looks alright so far. Imagine if we fielded a team for a season that contained Lewis Ferguson, Bojan Miovski, Ryan Christie, James Maddison, Scott McKenna, Kenny McLean, Lawrence Shankland, Ross McRorie, maybe even Wes Burns who seems to be doing alright at Ipswich these days. Distinctly lacking goalkeepers and only one defender though

Even the Lancashire Post can't confirm whether Preston are actually keen, as they've also quoted The Scottish Sun. Funny how all these unsettling rumours always start circling just as we are about to play either side of the Old Firm, and they rarely have actual quotes
