Apparently the other person was Darren Mackie!! According to the Daily Retard. Midweek at Hampden would be ridiculous for both us AND United. They should make the game at a neutral venue on the East Coast. East End Park, McDiarmid Park ... even Tynecastle or Easter Road would do. But travelling from Dundee or Aberdeen to Hampden (AND BACK!) on a weeknight is ridiculous ... unless the SFA really really want Hampden to be half-empty. Mind you, that'd please the hacks at the Sun and Daily Record. They'd thrive on the stat of the New Firm semi-final only pulling a half-full national stadium. But then they are very quick to forget just how bloody difficult it is to get from the north-east to Glasgow on a weeknight.

Normal practice for such a high-profile game! The club will be wanting to monitor who is going to the game so that they can crack the whip if any trouble occurs - which is pretty much a given for this particular fixture as Atletico have quite a rough section of fans.

Haha! That was like me in the 2001/02 season. Must've been to a good dozen away matches that season ... and I never saw a single loss. That was until Alfrom joined us for the matches, and jaegerdeen spotted one match that he went to and we lost ... and all of a sudden he was labelled a jinx. Doesnae matter than me and Alfrom probably saw about fifteen wins that season on our travels (bearing in mind that Pittodrie matches were classed as our biggest away day!!). That one loss meant Alfrom was called a jinx for the rest of the season. Once yer labelled a jinx, MT, it's bloody difficult to shake off that label.

JINX! Burn him at the stake .... mmmmmmmmm, steak!

I would, but I'm currently in Auckland! Bit of a long distance to travel at such short notice

Can we watch it online on the Beeb?

I've sent an email to every member to explain how to get into Donstalk via the "alternative" url. It might pay to bookmark the zakynthos web address until the domain is resolved

Being written off is good for us. It's a win-win situation for us really. If we lose, at least it ain't to the likes of Skonta Riga or Bohemians. It'll be against proven quality European opposition ... most of whom are no strangers to the Champions League!!! But if we win, we'll be heralded as the best Dons side since Fergie's days.

Miller couldnae win a game of snap ... against himself!

And what's the difference between JDV this season and Eugene Dadi six years ago? Dadi went down under the slightest of contact ... sometimes NO contact. But the penalties he won us definitely saw us win a number of games that just shouldn't have gone our way. In this world, the nice guys never win!!! It's about time Aberdeen started to become a bunch of cunts!!

Still think we need to steady the SS Pittodrie. Before we go off dreaming of Euro adventures, we gotta get rid of that debt!!! The only way we can get rid of that is by "doing a Hibs" and selling off our best young talents. Firstly we need to secure our existing squad on decent contracts ... none of this 24 month pish!! Then we need to sort out some form of training complex so that we can kickstart our youth conveyor belt. Jumping out into the wilderness and purchasing European players who havenae got any sort of pedigree, but still think they deserve the wages, is definitely not the way to go. Wipe that debt off our backs, and then we can start dreaming.

Bloody blow my cover min! I made it all the way to ukraine. Stelios flew me personally from Auckland to Dnipro directly. And after all that trouble, I wisnae gonna go quietly from that stadium. Trust you tae grass on me, ya bocht ein!

Whatever we can get from Spain? Nothing more than an awesome day out for every dandy who goes! This will easily be the biggest travelling support we've taken to the continent since the good ship St Claire took us to Gothenburg. And I reckon the Red Ultras will do us proud in a stadium that is already guaranteed to be decorated with flags and colour from the home support. Who cares about the scoreline. One thing's for sure. Every dandy will enjoy themselves in Madrid. Hey, who knows. We could sneak a win. Stranger things happened in 1983!!

For once I don't agree with u, mate! Hope we have the strongest squad available for the last three matches. Our defence is key at the moment. Langfield may be good. But Gordon is a different class, and we need him between the sticks for the last three matches if we're to guarantee qualification

A quick survey is being run at the moment regarding fans' thoughts on their team's kit. Got any opinions on the current Aberdeen strip? How does it rank among your all-time favourite Aberdeen strips? Is it value for money? The results will be read by the kit manufacturers themselves - so this is your chance to help shape the future of kit design! Go to www.footballfanscensus.com and take part in the "Football Shirts?" survey.

Yeah true. If we were to play any of these guys a couple of months ago, we'd get a new arsehole ripped on our backsides. But it's amazing what two months difference makes to a side's confidence. Who's to say these sides are firing on all cylinders at the moment. Our defence seems to be running on pure adrenalin at the moment, and are fuckin awesome! If Mackie, Lovell and Miller can get their respective arses in gear, then we could stand a fighting chance. Come on ... we've got one of the fastest teams in Scotland, and are the SPL's masters at counter-attacking football. Surely that's gotta count for something against a team like Locomotiv who've scored 35 goals this season ... but lost 35 too!

Aye, yer nae allowed to smoke in stadiums these days. Doesnae stop the smokers, does it??!!!! So long as it's nae one of they flares that blows up, I see no problem
