Yip, thought that Mackie and MacLean were pretty much blameless on saturday
-
Great idea however McGhee should've announce it just before a home game cos attendance are bound to increase I'd gladly pay to watch Ifil at CF, Langfield ar right back, Mackie in goal, McDonald in centre midfield etc, would be good for a laugh Nah, in fairness though this must've been taken oot of context or something, surely
-
Seriously doubt that the crowd had much to do about it, most of us were sleeping off our half time pies.
-
Maybe Considine ana? although we've been pretty much pish all saosn, we're been even mair pish since Considine has been injured.
-
Our defence and strikeforce are the least of our worries just now, we offer absolutely no creativity, no finesse and zero tactical nous. We are crying oot for a Barry Nicholson-esque midfielder. And a decent manager would be good ana

Nobody wants us to go on the managerial merry-go-round again however with relegation floating about it may be the only option. Motherwell have had 2 managers this season and are looking much better than us also Jimmy has already made a big difference with Killie. With the players at our disposal we should be a good 10 points better off and in the QF of the Scottish cup. Not sure if I really want Mcghee to go or not, but how long can we carry on losing?

CRISIS TALKS RESULTS - If you cant beat them join them
Roccovellhung replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Re: Jim Duffy's comments, its amazing how, with no evidence whatsoever to back it up, that the general perceived opinion of all our players is that they're moody, sulking and self obsessed losers, and that McGhee is some sort of honest, hard-working manager who can't work his magic due to the quality of tools provided. Now a few players may or may not be pulling their weight, however surely not every player is too blame?, I'm sure it cannae be good for the players and team morale to see them all constantly slated in the full glare of the media. -
Nae think oor current problems may be due to the board listening too much to supporters?, was never a huge fan of fat Jim however last season we had top 6 mediocrity and a euro spot, this season we're a ba' hair from a relegation battle and with attendances doon about 1k / game.

Don't think I've ever actually booo'ed, it kinda tickles my lips after a few seconds and I've got to stop

Spiers again - Wake up call for McGhee?
Roccovellhung replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Yip, don't subscribe to the opinion that this is down to the players solely, some of McGhee's tactics and decisions so far this season have been baffling. -
Yip, good idea re: the RDU, at least for smaller games - more concentrated areas can only improve the atmosphere. Nae so sure aboot the snipers though....purely because the cost of bullets and subsequent attendance drops would bankrupt us.

I reckon Mark McGhee will resign...
Roccovellhung replied to Dons1903's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
IMO these factions mentioned earlier have a lot to do with the JMG / JIG pish that was prevelant last year, especially on the hat - this drove a huge wedge between all supporters and now that things are going pear-shaped then the fingers of blame are being pointed at all and sundry. Nae good times. -

Good article from Britney. Whatever is broken really needs to be fixed sharpish, hopefully McGhee's plan Z will finally work. -
SPL is on it's deathbed 0 Sunday Mail

Yip, sure I read that Ifil is one of the highest paid at Pittodrie as well, a sobering thought..... -
Maybe we should hang onto Milne for a little longer......a depressing read

A movement against Milne and the Board?
Roccovellhung replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Do you think there is an alternative to Milne out there?, loads of clubs are currently looking for investors and I doubt we're an attractive prospect nowadays. We're probably much stuck with one another unfortunately. -
A movement against Milne and the Board?
Roccovellhung replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Nah, you're probably right, I've just been on the hat and my reply was obviously influenced I think there will be protests very soon if things don't improve, although I'm not sure what good it will do by forcing our guarantor out in this credit crunching times when we have nearly 10 million pounds of debt. -
A movement against Milne and the Board?
Roccovellhung replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Personally I think that since most supporters wanted JC oot and then backed MM as his replacement, 8 months later and its all gone a bit pear shaped therefore its much easier to blame Miller and Milne than maybe admit they backed the wrong horse. People are underestimating the difference a good manager can make to the team. -
Are the players trying to get McGhee sacked?
Roccovellhung replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Good point, obviously something is wrong and if the players or managers dinnae sort it oot soon then we'll be playing Raith 4 times next season -
So was I, useless bastards!
-
I'd be delighted if we'd stick to 2 upfront rather than the lone striker pish of late Anyway, for my dream team I'd probably opt for Miller and Maguire, purely cos its really aboot time for Maguire to step up or either move on.
-
First set of games gone - where do you think we will finish?
Roccovellhung replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
This season I expect at least 4th, otherwise what was the point in spending 600k (or so) just to finish lower than the previous season? -
And he's got shit hair
-
Fair point Bobby, I'll go for that - just hope he disnae get pigeon holed with the usual suspects as being a lost cause, sometimes I think that because he's been around so long we forget he's basically still a young loon.
-
Nah, its just that we're producing even better youngsters
