  1. Agree with this completely.... fingers crossed he's a replacement for Maddison and we're still getting the central midfielder we need in.
  2. Would be really disappointed if we didn't sign a central midfielder but I reckon Christie and May replacing Maddison and Burns would leave us stronger going forward... Easton has always seemed solid enough, would prefer shinnie st left back though.
  3. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/23/gb-aberdeen-leading-chase-for-brian-easton/?utm_medium=share%2Bbutton&utm_campaign=social%2Bmedia&utm_content=/en-gb/2017/01/23/gb-aberdeen-leading-chase-for-brian-easton/ Not sure of the quality of the site but seems we have been linked with Brian Easton, could be a signal that Shinnie is indeed our new central midfielder... or it could be bollocks.
  4. How do I vote for a 50,000 seater stadium with a removable roof at pittodrie?
  5. Where has the 18,000 come from? If it was possible then great, suspect those options are deliberately close together though...
  6. I'm not sure if we would have an obsessive type character on this board... nobody springs to mind anyway Really well thought out and informative post though, sure people will still refuse to accept it if it hasn't been looked at officially (probably pissing away money needlessly) and they may have a case but at least it gives some credit to the theory that redeveloping the existing site isn't an option any more.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38690688 Sounds like Motherwell are trying to loan O'Halloran for the rest of the season, know we were linked with him pre-huns move but would anyone take him now? Barely played but could offer competition out wide...
  8. The fixture list is split up into game weeks, it should also give you the deadline for making changes to your teams and playing your triple captain etc.
  9. I'd imagine May would be an attacking replacement for Burns, Storey & Maddison (assuming he doesn't return). Very much doubt it's instead of a central midfielder and if that is the case then I'm all for it!
  10. Pretty much my thoughts on it too. I'm sure it's also been said at various points that the sale of the land and the building of any new facilities will be done openly and above board, without Milne being involved in the selling due to there being a conflict of interests. Almost certain that was the answer at an AGM a while back anyway. So if the "he just wants the land to build shite flats" theory even had a grain of truth in it he's fucked it up big time.
  11. I hate to break it to you, but with that common sense point you've just opened yourself up to what could be a lifetime of angry obsessive ranting. My condolences
  12. Can't argue with much of that. Promising the club haven't entertained either bid and no indication Hayes wants to move... Glad he's got a specific player in mind he wants to add to the squad too
  13. Milne could well be... its not a given that he would be able to buy the pittodrie site for flats though. Same goes with the contract to build the new stadium, I'd expect both deals would have to be done completely by the book.
  14. Agree that replacing either (or god forbid, both) would be a monumental task but I really don't know why people now think it's a certainty Hayes (and McGinn) are away?
  15. Well aye, but why let that get in the way of a good moan?
  16. Aye because that's just not important is it...
  17. Aye there are a load of documents outlining the proposed transport links etc. There's also mention of the club securing use of 600 parking spaces at arnhall business park from memory. Didn't read much of it, there seems to have been a significant amount of work put into it since the public exhibitions though which is promising.
  18. How dare you (I've just checked, there was no such email... unless it went straight to my junk folder )
  19. Pretty sure you didn't but it is a good idea though. The club did say indoor full size pitches may be a future phase of the training facilities but regardless the bubbles should be utilised. If it means the stadium if functional and meets all our present and future needs then I'm perfectly happy with a less pretty roof. Even more so given the knowledge you'll be quietly seething any time you make the trip there
  20. There were never going to be any signings while the squad were in Dubai, so I don't see the lack of activity so far as a concern. Reckon folk are reading far too much into the Hayes situation too, haven't seen anything from Hayes to suggest that he wants to go (or would force a move). I'd say folk are overreacting to the clubs statement too but that's just me!
  21. The club have confirmed Wes Burns is being sent back to his parent club, can't say he will be missed given his limited impact
  22. Had a quick squint over the floor plans. Supporters bar seals it for me
  23. https://publicaccess.aberdeencity.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=OJMF3EBZIED00 That's the planning application submitted. Couple of visualisations etc available by following the link but I wouldn't expect there's much that hasn't already been shown. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-38638838
  24. Managed to drop the bitterness about your offer to design the stadium being ignored then? ?
  25. Provided you don't do anything to said donstalker on his stag do to warrant being uninvited to the wedding of course Aren't you forgetting a pretty big trip at the end of the year too?
