  1. He's certainly got all the hallmarks of a Zola/Wylde style signing, shame as I was excited when the signing was announced.
  2. Looks good Manc, seems like you were right on Sunday... she is a keeper
  3. Going on that logic you'll be dropping Maddison too then?...
  4. It's terrible the Beeb are playing the undeserved champion card just because Hamilton lost, not surprising though. He'll slip back into this bitter wee kid routine as per the later spell at mclaren until things go his way again (See pulling out of the Pirelli test through "illness").
  5. Each to their own about the share issue. As far as moving goes I genuinely think it's the only option now... allowing the land around pittodrie to be developed ruled out having a modern stadium on the same site. That's just a fact now.
  6. Ah, I'd remembered it was just McLean and jack but I'll take your word for it, definitely agree that McLean jack and shinnie hasnt gelled. You've probably got a point about not putting in rash challenges, but they did take that to the extreme on Sunday, at times it was laughable... singling McLean out in that respect would be unfair though.
  7. Not sure the next game had too much to do with the next game but agree with you about not matching the Huns spending if they splash out in January. Probably an unpopular opinion but I wouldn't want them to if it puts us in a tricky position financially. It's been a long hard struggle to get back to the financial situation we are in just now, mistakes that Milne oversaw (look at that, not apologetic...) but seems to be doing a good job of reversing now (better late than never). if continuing to live within our means and strengthen as/when we can helps continue that them so be it, trying to match their unsustainable spending will just lead us into the same shite state as them, not ideal when we've got a stadium to fund.
  8. Would need to watch the whole game again but it does feel that McLean is getting a raw deal from Sunday. He was far from the worst but seems to be suffering because the poorest performances were from the favourites (shinnie, Maddison etc.) In full agreement about showing faith in the Jack/McLean partnership. Jack was playing very well at the start of the season beside McLean from memory and McLean has performed better in the games before the final.
  9. Reckon it'll be swept under the carpet now, in fairness Rosberg has dealt with the questions well.
  10. Aye I can see why that would irritate, I'm only basing that last post on watching top gear or the grand tour, tend to ignore anything else. Same goes for Hopkins, Farage etc too.
  11. Was reading that earlier and knew someone would pick up on that. Really hope there's not uproar about it as I'm sure 3rd is only mentioned in relation to European qualification rather than what they're aiming for. . They've also done this for years, budgeting for a minimum position whilst aiming for better. Know folk will read that and instantly think the club has filled over and accepted dropping back to 3rd and finishing behind rangers and Celtic but I'm utterly convinced that's not that case.
  12. Your evening right the second episode was an absolute shocker... the first one was pretty good, standard easy watching light entertainment for when you just don't want to have to think about what you're watching. very similar to the old top gear but you could tell they had a little more freedom. Struggle to understand why folk would care enough about the show or presenters to hate it/them though...
  13. After sleeping on it and despite still being really disappointed in the result and performance I can't help but agree with this.
  14. Agree that others didn't step up either but to say his performance today should be kept out of it is nonsense, none of the players should be immune from criticism if their performances deserve it. Agree with this, he won't get a bigger job than Aberdeen and I think he knows that, doesn't mean he can't help us progress though.
  15. He was infinitely better than some today that's for sure!
  16. Absolutely this, 10 of those 11 players were dreadful. Mcinnes fucked up by not playing McGinn but the team he did put out let him down massively. Can't believe anyone could think Maddison had a good game either, when he avoided being taken down he gave the ball away.
  17. I think Rosberg will hold on, I really hope it's not decided by technical issues though regardless of who wins
  18. Wasn't indoor facilities mentioned in the original plans as a second phase of the training facilities?
  19. Did anyone make it along tonight? I'd planned to but got caught up much later at work and... just couldn't be arsed in the end
  20. Fair enough... may have only been winding you up. I agree it does look better, would it be more expensive though? Guess we'll soon see when the plans are released, could the images so far just be rough pictorial mock ups?
  21. Good call, basing your negativity on guesswork
  22. Is the roof being simplistic in the images a real concern? Surely they're just pictorial aren't they? Fingers crossed the exhibition tomorrow shows some detailed plans which give everyone a better idea what it'll look like.
  23. He's definitely a weak link, need to get mcginn running at him from the first minute and see what happens. Also, how Rogers didn't think that was a penalty is beyond me, laughable to suggest otherwise.
  24. Sinclair went off with a hamstring injury, don't know how bad it was. Sutton is doing his best to make me forget his recent fine punditry, incredibly one sided.
  25. If only we had someone who was good with crayons that could do the design for them. Manc I'm guessing fancy designs will end up costing more... provided it's functional and suits us long term I can live with it being a bit bland, we were never going to get a thing of beauty.
