  1. I really hope mcinnes is offered the rangers gig and tells them to piss off. Possibly wishful thinking but it'd be hilarious.
  2. Seems to be the same team and formation as the Malta game. He's an annoying wee shite but how Griffith doesn't get a game ahead of Martin I don't know.
  3. Aye, it's part of the tests they do at preseason.
  4. I'd not have Taylor anywhere near the team, he's an accident waiting to happen. I'd have O'Connor first choice and see how he gets on with Reynolds. If they don't gel then give Considine a shot.
  5. Forced to watch it?... sure I'm in agreement though
  6. Hasn't mcinnes denied any interest? Sure I read that somewhere... fucked if I can remember where though
  7. what an incredible weekend of golf, which only got better as it went on! The better team won without a shadow of a doubt but at the end of the day too many of the experienced players on the European team didn't perform well, Kaymer and Westwood were poor, Rose played well tee to green but couldn't hole a putt to save his life and a couple of the rookies struggled too which only made things worse. Pieters and Cabrera-bello had fantastic debuts though, showing real promise for the future. Some of the performances from the US team were phenomenal too, Patrick Reed in particular... the US seem to have found their own version of Ryder cup mode Poulter, even if it is irritating at times (as is poulter admittedly!) I do think Clarke slipped up not using more of the rookies on Friday/Saturday though. Wood in particular was under used... whereas Davis Love III got things spot on. This weekend just reinforces why the Ryder cup is my favourite sporting event bar none.
  8. This brightened up a very Shitey day, top post!
  9. Why's everyone so keen to believe the daily retard all of a sudden?
  10. Just correcting you that's all Oh I've never said I'm bursting with optimism, only that to write our season off as over after a poor start (once which has a challenging run of games in close succession) is overkill in my opinion. That's all!
  11. Slow learner aren't you rocket?... For probably about the millionth time, neither from Edinburgh nor live there anymore. Apart from that carry on. I'll give you the cunt bit though
  12. It was around the same time as the euro games. He's also said Aucho was one of a few options so I wouldn't read too much into him being the only target. McInnes does have a habit of keeping his cards close to his chest, so I agree that the lack of rumours means much.
  13. Totally agree with this, he seemed to be a big part of the poor culture we had in the changing room at the time and we've worked hard to stamp that out under McInnes. Plus as mentioned before... He's nae very good anymore. Fully expect McInnes has targets up his sleeve, he's been quoted before saying he's got a couple in mind that requires patience so here's hoping once the squads form in England we can snap these targets up. There's still time but I totally get why some are starting to get concerned.
  14. Yawn, I asked a simple question and was met with the usual level of ranting... its tiresome. But aye, I'm the beaut.
  15. Yawn... Strange reaction to being asked a perfectly reasonable question.
  16. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, given the pish you usually post. Like the rest of your post for example. I could be wrong though
  17. And just where's that come from then?...
  18. It's blindingly obvious if you read the posts on here from those with a bit of knowledge of stadium design and regulations why the current location is no longer suitable for redevelopment. Maybe before the surrounding land was built on, but there's not the space anymore. That's even without considering the logistics of it, or how its paid for. Realising its not an option isnt a case of blindly accepting moving because Milne wants to, its a case of having to move because its a necessity. The sooner people realise that the sooner the club can move forward. Would you really condone pissing away huge amounts of money to draw up plans for a stadium that a. would be completely unsuitable and b. leave us with absolutely no way of paying for it? The reasons why staying at pittodrie isn't an option has been done to death.
  19. Good point, the players we've brought in could have quite easily used up the majority of that cash... provided he's kept enough tucked away to sign a midfielder I've got no issue with not having a transfer fee to spend.
  20. I think there is money to spend, I'm pleased McInnes isn't just spending it for the sake of it. It's been a solid window so far, addressing most of the squad depth issues of last year... Improving the centre of midfield and it'll be a perfect window. 2 weeks to come up with something is plenty time as well. I'm also sure McInnes said before the euro games that he was working in a deal that requires a bit of patience, here's hoping is a quality signing from down south. O'Connor sounds like a real find too, if he becomes a Taylor replacement I'll be absolutely delighted.
  21. It happened multiple times too, I was stunned! I've warmed to golf in the olympics but fuck me the crowd and commentary were both awful.
  22. It bugged the hell out of me. I'm all for growing the sport and getting new fans, but who on earth would think thats acceptable?!
  23. Congratulations on avoiding a massive overreaction there. Top post from a top poster! Season over? After drawing with the 3rd & 4th teams last season? Ok...
  24. Christ don't mention that... You know who will have a fit!
  25. Ah yeah I forgot about that... I'm sure she'll love waking up to that news!
