  1. I heard that on the radio on my way home from work... My first thought was that I bet I knew someone who was already sick of a certain someone's gloating
  2. I can sort of understand it when the likes of rafael etc got the nod in front of him though.
  3. Sure it's been reported that he threw his toys out of the pram about playing time and his agent demanded mental money for him to stay. Seem to remember Ferguson refused to deal with the agent from that point.
  4. Yawn, give it a rest. Joe Lewis = good though, you've fluked that point.
  5. That's the league renewed for another season. The code to join for anyone new that's interested is 1507688-370084
  6. Apart from the league cup...
  7. Seems McInnes has stated he was impressed but not the type of midfielder he needed. Could have been a gentle let down though. Rumour on the hat (I know...) is his agent was such an Arse it caused the club to take a step back.
  8. It's being reported by STV that deek's confirmed there will be no deal for Aucho.
  9. Unfortunately I couldn't make it at the last minute but caught most of the game on a stream and agree with pretty much all of that. I don't think we've got anything to fear next week based on last nights game. Yes they're a good team but we seemed to control them very well and had we taken our chances the game would have been over long before their goal. We've shown we can create chances against them, we just need to take them. I don't think a Jack McLean pairing works in the middle as a two either, although Mclean has always looked better in a number 10 role anyway... if we get a more defensive minded central midfielder to pair with Jack I honestly believe performances like his last night will become the norm. Taylor needs to go too, seemed to play well but we all knew there was a bombscare moment around the corner. If we can arrange a bounce game for the weekend to let Reynolds and O'Connor start to form an understanding then if it goes well pair them in the return leg against Maribor.
  10. Seems one of my workmates liked a no to kingsford post on Facebook which prompted me to flag up the rude and condescending attitude from a lot of the anti-brigade at the consultation meeting. Needless to say it was swiftly deleted and I'm now blocked despite being perfectly reasonable in what I said.
  11. Like they said... it all depends on the market at the time. I doubt they pulled the figure out of thin air.
  12. Not sure I totally agree... I'm with you in that I hope they've not banked on a decent European run when setting the wage budget, but if additional prize money allows the board to free up some money to pay a reasonable transfer fee then I'm all for it!
  13. Did they? I seemed to remember them saying it was something they were looking in to not so long ago. I could be wrong though.
  14. Regarding the capacity, I'm half wondering if the 20k figure is seating only and whether we might have a safe standing area on top of that... it may be wishful thinking though.
  15. Considering it's right at the start of the process and it's a summary I'd say it's a reassuring level of info. Maximum amount of parking spaces allowable, bus parking, shuttle busses from the park and ride as well as possibly from the train station. It's a start!
  16. http://www.afc.co.uk/8157 Decent amount of info on the new stadium now on the club site, good to see the plan for transport etc and will surely reassure some.
  17. Seems to be, I'm tempted to nip in past on the way home and see whats said... I've got 5's tonight though so it may have to wait until the second viewing.
  18. New season! Rules: 1. One name per points tally for the season, first come first served! 2. Allowed to change guess at any point as along as it is to an empty tally 90 89 88 87 86 85 84 83 82 81 80 79 78 77 76 75 74 73 72 - Edinburghdon 71 70 69 68 67 66 - Manc 65 64 63 62 61 60 59 58 57 56 55 54 53 52 51 50 49 48 47 46 45 44 43 42 41 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 22 21 20 -------- Previous Champions: 2009-10: Dave_min (41 points) 2010-11: BigAl (38 points) 2011-12: Snapper (41 points) 2012-13: Tyrant (48 points) 2013-14: 2014-15: Dandy (75 points) 2015-16: Dandy (retained due to no correct scorer)
  19. He'll be unbearable now
  20. I must admit I've not seen a whole lot of him, but the fact he's off to Burton probably says a lot.
  21. McInnes has said he can play all across the front line, he's bound to be signed to play out wide and provide competition/support to Hayes and McGinn.
  22. First offense and less than 2 years so he'll serve no prison time.
  23. Who's voting? I'll indulge you... It doesn't mean you have to like clarkson as a person to enjoy the program. I think it's more that the previous version of top gear was perfect for Sunday evenings, mindless entertainment. Much like some posters on here... If you ignore the entertainment part I mean.
  24. It really was, shocking from the bbc really. To be honest, as much as I don't like Clarkson away from top gear he was a big part of why the previous version of top gear was so enjoyable. Really looking forward to seeing if him, may & Hammond can recreate that on the grand tour.
  25. Not a huge surprise really, I'd warmed to the new top gear slightly but his style still grated quite a bit. It's a shame as you could tell he knew his stuff about cars. Admittedly the fact the Euros have been on over the past couple of weeks couldn't have helped the ratings. Fingers crossed Matt LeBlanc stays on, he turned out to be much better than i expected.
