  1. Not that you're biased or anything...
  2. Id have punted Taylor too, still would if it helps get a top CH. Are these signings way below the standard required though? The only questionable one seems to be Morris and even then there seems to be a fair few united fans that think he's decent but had a bad run of injuries... I guess we'll find out one way or the other soon!
  3. The P&J reported that there was but I'm hoping you're right!
  4. He'd be a decent addition and the type of player we need but haven't county just rejected a decent sized bid from an English team?
  5. I agree to a certain extent, but the signings so far seem to be designed to address the squad depth issues we encountered at various points throughout last year. Which I think they actually do, and that's a positive thing. We've got additional different options up front, a new number one and possibly the strongest back up goal keeper we've had in years and we've got cover on the right side of defense, all things that have been mentioned as issues at times last season. McInnes has said he's not done yet and has also said he wants defenders and strength in the middle of the park so I fully expect that to be the next two issues addressed. I'm also sure the signings there will be of a standard to improve the first 11 rather than squad depth. I don't think anyone would disagree that the signings so far would be enough on their own, but it's certainly a promising start in my eyes though. We've still got a week until the signing deadline for the 1st Europa league qualifiers too so I expect there to be more movement soon.
  6. Defensive minded midfielder such as slater and splashing out on Greg Stewart would be fantastic for me! Adding another defender towards the end of the window would round off the summer well.
  7. Let's just pretend it was sarcasm and move on
  8. I guess all this is assuming Alexander is actually going to sign!
  9. I'd hope he'd go out to a premier league team to prove himself in this league. It's all well and good getting rave reviews in the championship but I'd be surprised if it's enough to prove he's ready to be number 1 for a team who should be challenging for the premier league again.
  10. guessing he's right at the back of the queue and will only be used in emergencies?
  11. Both Ally Begg and Tyrone Smith are reporting Alexander has signed a 1 year deal too. Assume that would mean he's back up to Lewis and Rogers is going back out on loan for the season.
  12. That's Lewis signed now, 2 year deal http://www.afc.co.uk/news/8006.php#.V2GRHZB4WK0
  13. I can only assume he's been brought in as a back up with the view to saving a larger slice of the budget on a quality centre half to come in as a started. If that is the case then fine, worrying if it's not though. I guess the fact he can play at right back too isn't a disaster, we don't really have a back up right back just now. Fingers crossed it works out better than expected.
  14. good luck with that
  15. Available now http://www.afc.co.uk/news/8004.php#.V2BR_JB4WrU
  16. Still not managed to understand the point then? Awesome! *Donstalk Needs A Yawn Smiley*
  17. Really showing your class there rocket.
  18. Aye, by about a year... Which I hope isn't as bad a sign as it seems!
  19. I see Shaun Hutchinson (ex Motherwell) has been released by Fulham. Worth looking at?
  20. As mentioned earlier today... He's pish anyway
  21. Glad you enjoyed it! I preordered the follow up as soon as I'd finished I Am Pilgrim but annoyingly the publish date seem to have been pushed back.
  22. Or McGinn... Please!!
  23. That's another reason why he should be relegated to Duncan 2!
  24. Pretty much my thoughts too, the same as any sane person I'd imagine.
  25. They're being liked with Steven Gerrard too, laughable!
