I've had the same feeling for a couple of months now, fingers crossed it actually happens.

I've been really impressed by will vaulks, reckon he could do a great job for us.

Can't argue with that, I also wouldn't grudge flood the move if he wanted more playing time provided we can replace him with someone of a higher quality. I do suspect we would miss his influence generally more than his performances on the pitch though. I'm sure I've read about him being a real nightmare in training constantly pulling people up if they look to be taking it easy... That's the exact kind of attitude we need from our senior players.

I guess it comes down to there being no incentive for him to make the move at the end of last season, sure he still thought he had something left in the tank. Add that to the fact he was still under contract then he would have been mad to have retired. I agree it would have suited us more if he had though!

Oh I'm in complete agreement there, we need to make sure we get a quality GK, CB and tougher central midfielder. I get the impression from McInnes' comments that he knows that too. Stewart would also be able to do a job out wide too so could double up as depth behind Hayes/McGinn which is sorely needed.

I'd be over the moon with Stewart, really hoping there's some truth to the rumour as he would be a fantastic addition.

I read I am pilgrim whilst on holiday last year. I can honestly say it's one of the best novels I've ever read, it's fantastic and just couldn't put it down.

So, to make things as simple as possible to give you the best possible chance to understand. I've never said ward wasn't a decent keeper, only that he's not quite as good as some have made out (not yet anyway) and there were numerous repeated mistakes that people have glossed over. Which is understandable considering his "competition" for the jersey. But aye you crack on with twisting posts however you like to suit your angry little agenda. Did you miss the part of his post where he expressed his own opinion on ward? Or just skip straight to the mention of me and completely fail to grasp the point? Also, would you like people to count how many games they've been to before expressing an opinion? Would a ball park figure do or does it need to be exact? I've not seen too much of McGovern but what I have seen hasn't exactly filled me with confidence. He might well be better than Collin or Brown but I can't help think we should be aiming higher than that. Would much rather we showed a bit more ambition and try and get someone of a higher quality. Who's Caley's keeper just now anyway?

I don't think Storey is a clumpy big striker... Good to see McInnes is quietly and quickly getting another deal done, not 100% convinced about Storey but hopefully McInnes has seen a player in there and gets him consistently playing to his potential. Welcome aboard! Now for Milne to open the chequebook for Stewart, McGinn, a defender and keeper (admittedly that's wildly unrealistic).

Just asked my Caley fan mate about storey. Apparently he's a decent player, nothing phenomenal. He's under the impression we'd find better options and he's only really any use when he can be arsed. As much as I'd love to carry on our run of signing their best players to piss him off, he's said enough to put me off storey.
