  1. Seems to be that agent scotland on twitter thats talking about it... probably says it all really.
  2. Perfect opportunity to blood some fringe players rather than relying on the old shite he's stuck with so far. Strachan has fucked it. Quite glad I didnt renew my SSC membership to be honest.
  3. Shinnie being overlooked is a disgrace. Who the fuck is Oliver Burke?!
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35770855 Sounds like McLean is going to earn his first Scotland call up. Well deserved if true... just got to hope a couple more of our players are included as well.

    Tennis

I think they've suspended it until the full story is known.
  6. Ally Begg has said it's not on after all.
  7. Is it really fundamentally different to signing for a lower league team in England though? I'd say not. It's still dropping down to a lower level of competition for more money.
  8. I see your point and I agree to a certain extent... Saying that half our squad has done that at some point, McGinn and Rooney to name two. Slightly different admittedly but still dropping down a level to chase money. It's just the nature of football now sadly. The fact Bell went to Rangers isn't enough to put me off totally, the question of whether he's good enough would though. It'd be a shame if playing for them put people off someone who may (or may not) turn into a decent signing.
  9. Depends on if we'd be getting the reasonably solid/fairly cheap/on the fringes of the Scotland squad Bell or the injured/lacking match fitness/extortionately paid Bell. If he proves his form and fitness, takes a huge pay cut and agrees to be thoroughly disinfected then he may be an ok option even as a solid number 2. That's based on not seeing him play much at all since leaving Killie though so others may have a different opinion.
  10. Aye, McLean had a goal disallowed at 0-0... Church had strayed offside going on the bbc text commentary.
  11. Is it a crisis? Or an opportunity to clear the decks and rid ourselves of average at very best goalkeepers? I agree though, I hope there's a plan in place!
  12. I was just about to post that update too. Guess it is a sensible length of deal until we see if he becomes a first team regular or not.
  13. Signed a new deal according to the AFC twitter feed. No word on the length of deal though. Either way it's good news!
  14. There are issues that need to be addressed, totally agree... Doesn't mean McInnes identified or even tried to sign anyone barring church and Tansey though. It's always difficult to get quality and value in January, maybe he just wanted to trust the squad he has and works with every day and wait for his first choice signings in the summer rather than signing players that would have been stopgap or 2nd/3rd choice signings. He could have just as easily made a mess of the transfer window though, just putting forward an alternative view to the one that seems to be commonly accepted.
  15. That's assuming that (the Tansey move breaking down aside) DM had any failings based on their planned activities.
  16. I've got the series in my to read pile, I've avoided them until now for the same reasons but might give them a go soon.
  17. you spent a while thinking up that didn't you?...
  18. Incredibly generous! I agree about Reynolds being pish since he had Anderson beside him too, I'm now utterly convinced he needs to be paired with a top quality centre half that will lead him through games in order to perform to his capabilities. Fingers crossed McInnes sees this too and either gets rid or pairs him with someone who can actually play football.
  19. Absolutely 100% agree. There were numerous terrible performances today but if that useless fuck Taylor isn't dropped after tonight there's something very very wrong.
  20. Aye the majority of the players have given up, sad really as we've come from 2 down before. Just no fight or belief. Can't make up my mind what's been the bigger blow, losing Hayes or having Taylor.
  21. Oh fuck you Willie Collum, stone wall pen ignored yet caley get the soften pen I've seen in years? We'd be as well calling it a night now as even playing well we couldn't overcome that ineptitude
  22. Aye there's far too many players having an off night. There's been times that it's looked like shinnie and Storie v the rest. No obvious source of a goal to get back into the game either.
  23. Well Taylor, Collum and half our team not bothering to turn up have probably just cost us a proper chance at a league challenge. When did caley turn into a group of hatchet men too?!
  24. Completely foolish by Taylor, there's no denying that. I'd hook Taylor now regardless of how dangerous he is attacking set pieces. But for Scotland's supposedly top ref to be taken in by that is laughable.
