  1. Disappointing to lose the goal so close to HT but we aren't playing badly, still in the game certainly. Looks like we've got a little bit of our confidence and swagger back at times which is pleasing.
  2. Admin type guys... any time I try to open up the more emoticon option above the reply text box it won't open up. This has been a real issue lately as it has meant I can't access the wanker smiley. Can anyone help?
  3. What an wonderful sentiment, have a great weekend Rocket
  4. Incredibly I'll stick up for Rocket here... he didnt claim it was a fact McInnes is incompetent, only that it would be a fact if it's proved that he doesnt know why things are so bad or how to fix it.
  5. I'd say Reynolds still has plenty pace... doesn't mean I'd ever put him at left back again though. Much better suited to centre half.
  6. Actually the results last night mean both are out of the league cup...
  7. That's pretty much my view too, I haven't been too impressed with Jack as captain but I reckon it's far too early to be writing him off, he will grow into the role
  8. Where's the rumours about McInnes sending his CV off to clubs come from? That's a new one on me anyway. As with Logan's antics, whats the rumour there?
  9. I just thought I'd use an example you're likely to actually know about to prove that teams can lose form for little or no reason.
  10. Is it though? Or was the Eva Carniera situation a result of the pressure he was under. I'd argue Chelsea lost form long before that. Mostly the same players as last season, similar tactics, totally different performances. It's not too dissimilar...
  11. Admittedly it's not based on anything seeing as I've missed the past couple of games but I'm not convinced. If anything I'd agree with Rico on this one, but again it's just my gut feeling rather than being based on anything more. I'm not sure I agree with no teams form dropping so dramatically without reason either... how are Chelsea getting on just now?
  12. Those rumours have been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks and since spread to the hat. The player in question has rubbished the rumours as has the club, fairly certain it's all bollocks.
  13. That pretty much hits the nail on the head for me (apart from the uninspiring bit, guess I was Lucky as I had a couple of great teachers at school!). It's a hugely challenging profession. As well as that the general opinion that they get a huge amount of holidays etc is just nonsense, I've never seen anyone expected to work through as many of their holidays (without pay or thanks) as teachers. That's not to mention the teachers that take on even more workload by marking exams etc as well.
  14. As much as I felt Scotland were robbed yesterday, I'd really hate for that to happen. For me that would be setting a really dangerous precedent.
  15. Using the rocket interpretation of teachers, I think we can deduce... He's actually a teacher. Mystery solved
  16. I suspect it was more to do with being linked to the Scotland job than anything!
  17. Aye it's all laughable isn't it? Saw someone posted a link on the hat to some Manc journalists Twitter feed "reporting" the rumours too, tagging ash and India Taylor in them... Classy move.
  18. I'm totally with you, but at the same time I understand his thinking bringing Darren Fletcher on, even if I don't agree with it.
  19. I'm a big fan of fletcher too, or the old fletcher... He's looked a shadow of his former self and understandably so. I can't help think that's his last cap and he was brought on to give him one last run out. Saying that it would have been much more beneficial to blood shinnie in the Scott brown role.
  20. I guess he's a little limited by who was already in the squad but why he's not giving shinnie and Russell a chance is beyond me.
  21. You've finally dragged me down to your standards...
  22. I've successfully managed to block out his existence over the last year anyway. Forgot the cunt was still alive.
  23. One thing Scotland have become truly world class at is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, they've got it down to a fine art.
  24. Almost too predictable. Made an arse of things again, can't even blood loads of younger players against Gibraltar either
  25. That's the most embarrassing defensive showing I've seen in a long time. Jesus
