Wouldn't say it's too much at all, defender in his peak years, one of the standout defenders in La liga last year, top scoring defender too and regular international. Compared to £40m for john stones it's a steal. I suspect Man United missing out on him and pedro on the same day will come back to haunt them big time!

Oh yeah during the game is one thing, totally agree there but I was more meaning out with games, some of the stick he got on Twitter and on the forums was unbelievable. Totally out of order! At the end of the day he was a good honest player that obviously loved his time here, had some ups and downs but nothing ever bad enough to deserve the abuse he got.

Pretty much my thoughts on it. Also, I will always be disappointed in the level of abuse directed at him by certain elements of the fans too. Some of it has been disgusting over the years and it must have been hard to deal with. Hope he gets on well at his next club!

I noticed a lot of complaints about this over the weekend and I can't really see why there's so much fuss about it... it doesn't take long at all to order a ticket online and collect prior to the match. I'm lead to believe this can be done right up until kick off (I could be wrong) so it's not like anyone making a late decision to go to the game will be stuck.

Quinn absolutely has to come in for Taylor at the weekend, no question about it!

If he leaves now I hope it means we get cash for him, he's off next summer anyway so better to cash in now and adequately replace him

I genuinely think that goodwillie is the only striker we could have started with tonight, I'm a huge Rooney fan but he just doesn't hold the ball up enough compared to goodwillie and that's vital in these sort of games. Saying that Rooney should have been on earlier. I also disagree with the McInnes being the weak link part, for once his subs actually worked, the weak link was Taylor without a shadow of a doubt and that will be the case until we replace him

I said to Manc even before Taylor got to the ball he was going to do Something stupid, all he had to do was shepherd the ball out. Saying that I remain to be convinced by ward, parried the ball right into the path of their star striker. Something not even brown/langfield would have done. Not that I'm denying ward isn't better than both options but it was a shocking mistake. At the end of the day we were the better team for 60 mins and had them rattled at the end. Shame we couldn't get that second goal. as a positive that's the best game I've seen Jack have in an Aberdeen shirt, thought he was superb.

I'd have taken Iain Vigurs pre-Motherwell... seems to have regressed quite a bit since he went there though.
