  1. We've been linked to Paul Caddis in the Sun today as well.
  2. Like has already been said the lack of camera angles doesnt help but my initial reaction was the first vernon goal was offside but the second wasn't. Hard to tell though. Should have had a penalty too.
  3. I was just thinking that. Seems to be a lot of people thinking that because he's not playing that he's on his way out. Wasn't he only getting back to full fitness during pre-season after a bad injury towards the end of last season? Seems perfectly reasonable that he's not forced his way back in yet and there's nothing at all to say that he wants out
  4. He was taken off with a cut on his horehead due to an elbow to the heid, apart from that he's been fully fit since the end of last season I believe. The defence has looked very solid in the last 3 games and he certainly marshalled it well against Celtic and county, as well as today from the sounds of things.
  5. Aye it sounded like we tried to play good football again today, dominated the game and should have had a couple more at least. The commentators were fairly adamant that there should have been a penalty and possibly one of the offside goals should have stood. Fraser sounded excellent too. Big positives to be taken. Anderson sounded solid again, wonder if MBT still has a bee in his bonnet about re-signing him?
  6. Man United just confirmed this.
  7. Cheers Andrew! Know its not got anything to do with Simmie etc but it's great to see Fletcher has made the bench, hopefully good news for Scotland!
  8. if someone could pm me a link i'd be happy to report it as well!
  9. Admittedly I've not seen the goal yet, but the abuse langfield has been getting on twitter is sickening. People like that need to get to fuck.
  10. The huns not being in the league has nothing to do with us being any better. We've got a more balanced and higher quality team for the coming season, signing a left back and a centre half will improve that further. There's very few teams in the league thats strengthened over the summer, basically only us, Hibs and Dundee United from what I can tell, the rest have lost key players. I'm Really confident of a significant improvement this season.
  11. you are a negative bastard! I'd picked a higher total but most of the sensible ones are gone!

  13. Having had a quick read of the story on the website announcing the counter I'm really impressed. The way the club have communicated with the fans this summer has been nothing short of fantastic, long may it continue!
  14. This is the bit I'd be most amused by, it's something Rangers fans seem to bring up and every chance!
  15. Taking the piss asking Milsom to play left wing and central midfield isnt it?!
  16. Couldn't agree with this more.
  17. FFS mizer there's no point highlighting the only bit in the statement that suits you. The second part of the very same sentence even states "going forward that will meet the aspirations of the Scottish football supporters". Give the bloke a rest for fuck sake, the club have handled things well this summer, would it kill you to be even slightly positive?
  18. Wonder if this will put the suspicions from certain members that Milne/AFC was involved in pressuring the SFL to let Rangers into Division 1 or the formation of SPL2. In my eyes the club has acted very professionally throughout all this, making their stance clear the whole way through. Big thumbs up from me on the way they've handled it. Well done Milne/AFC
  19. Not to sound like a hun but I'd imagine it wouldn't be a case of budgeting on the huns specifically, I'd imagine it would be more a case of budgeting on the existing tv and sponsorship deals. Which as the SPL/SFA have hinted at (whether its a scare tactic or not) may well disappear... I could be wrong though.
  20. Caley arranging an emergancy board meeting over the weekend to discuss the major financial implications of today's announcement on their club.
  21. Not like he was caught on camera blatantly racially abusing Ferdinand or anything...
  22. AFC seem to be coming out of this with a lot more credit than I expected.
