Not sure if that was directed at me or not but I'd actually be coming from Aberdeen.... It would be impossible to find a site that suits everyone, it seems that the best that can be hoped for is proper transport to Loriston, which I presume would be a condition of getting the stadium.

It seems like a bit of a shit excuse to be honest. Of course the transport links to Loriston aren't great currently, but thats because there's no demand for transport links there just now. It's common sense that bus routes etc will be created to access any new stadium, and the by-pass should be completed by the time any new stadium is finished anyway so that will probably help access. The location isn't ideal by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems some are taking the moaning to the extreme.

It's the Altens/Tullos workers I was meaning, I'm certain if you speak to any number of people who work in the area they will tell you that options for lunch are very limited so it's not a huge departure to believe that if a couple of places opened up at Loriston they would be reasonably well used during the week, obviously this is dependant on the quality of the business. I'm realistic enough to realise that it's not going to be something special, chances are the stadium is going to be seriously flawed, however the idea that no pubs will open up to cater for the large demand on matchdays is nonsense.

Probably not if they were to be solely pubs. However there is a fairly big workforce located nearby that could use new places to go for lunch etc during the week, it's not a huge stretch to come up with businesses to cater for these needs during the week and profiting from the football crowds at the weekends/mid weeks...

While i see your point and agree to an extent it's not like pubs wont open up to cater for the stadium, and if the club had any sense they'd open a bar next to the staduim, they'd make a killing!

McGhee is getting a much greater benefit from the current youth system than others have had! And anyway your point about youth players doesn't even come close to mitigating against the piss poor job McGhee has done so far. Really hope he turns things round because this season has been a massive step backwards, but the signs so far look bad. And all this scapegoat pish is quite frankly nonsense!

If you think that nobody minded not replacing the players you named above after they left then your hugely off target. Its one thing saying McGhee is suffering from chronic under investment, but can you recall what happened to the fee's we received for 2 of the 3 players you named?...... How much of that was invested in the squad? (I'll give you a clue, it was very close to f*ck all) It's very easy to make this a comparison between calderwood and mcghee, but that doesnt excuse the fact that mcghee seems too be failing to get the best of the players we already have at the club, we have no system that works with the current personnel, players that don't seem to want to play for the manager, baffling tactical decisions and substitutions. EE is reporting that he is one of only 3 players who still have a year left on their current deal so its unlikely to be him as a fee would be involved. Both were mentioned in the EE as potential targets. So what you can take from all the EE exclusives is............ McGhee was probably never even at the Caley game!

At the risk of actually giving this nonsense any kind of response but you do realise that if administration did happen the administrators could recoup debts by measures such as selling on players for a pittance that are worth some money, like the players you've said you don't want to wait for them to be sold off for megabucks.
