  1. FFS thats the final straw, JMG!! wheres my tooteroo for the protest tomorrow..... One thing i was wondering, were people so critical of the football we were playing in calderwoods first season? Same dull defensive style as now, the only difference being teams didnt come and sit in against us so we managed a few more results against the wee teams....
  2. Fantastic post and it pretty much mirrors my view on things exactly, honestly couldnt have put it better myself! +1
  3. Nothing at all compares to buckleys in turra!!
  4. Cant remember anything like that being said at all.........
  5. Wasn't it just the case that no bugger bothered to pay for the trains??
  6. Mizer i think he's speaking about you.......... After taking some time to calm down after the Dunfermline game i'm pretty much sitting on the fence, for me Ajja summed it up pretty well, i neither think calderwood is a god, or should be hounded out of pittodrie. Of course there are aspects of his performance i'm not too happy with, but until there is an outstanding candidate to take over i'll give him some time. No point at all in replacing him with someone who will simply be different shade of shite.
  7. I love the fact that someone has obviously put a bit of thought into this and is trying to arrange for a group of like minded idiots to meet up at 12 in the broadhill. doesnt the broadhill only open at half 12? I hope its pissing down while they wait to get in!
  8. That boy doing the keepie ups at half time, closest thing I saw resembling a football player all night
  9. Surely you cant honestly believe most people on here thought that? Until tonight I was very much of the impression that while most weren't calling for his head for the last few months they certainly didn't think he was some god like figure. Tonight could well prove to be the straw that broke the camels back though...
  10. That pissed me off too, Aluko was shockingly bad tonight and deserved to be hooked. Christ if we had any sort of squad there's half of tonight's team be facing the axe for the weekend if it was left up to me
  11. She'll be the only one left soon enough!
  12. Pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter, been sitting on the fence for a while now regarding JC, but tonight just shows that once again this team doesn't have any bottle to win the make or break games. We should have coasted this match, but a combination of poor attitude, poor tactical decisions, lack of bottle , big players totally losing form etc has once more crippled us. We will never get a more straight forward run to a final, and its criminal that we haven't taken advantage of that. Should by rights be furious about the result/performance/entire match but even more worryingly im not, its more apathy than anything. After tonight JC's shelf life is rapidly expiring, along with a fair few of the "senior" players at this club.
  13. Bebo gets my vote too!
  14. Jesus, who's lit the fuse on your tampon tonight sweetheart?.... Not given enough tips tonight or something?
  15. Got the impression that his poor performance was down to a combination of trying to do too much instead of playing the simple ball and getting more and more tired as the 2nd half progressed. Thought he could possibly have been taken off to give him a bit of a rest after about 70 minutes when he started to fade badly although i can imagine the crowds reaction if that had happened.
  16. Yeah it would need Aluko to regain form but once he does I can see that system being an absolute nightmare for full backs to mark. Plus it would also make it very difficult for teams to do their usual doubling up on Aluko
  17. Like some others i thought today's game was pretty poor, although the wind played a massive part in that. Hamilton were laughably bad for large parts of the game and never looked likely to trouble us too much. I thought Maguire had an excellent game and deserved his MOTM, thought he was unlucky not to get a couple more goals though with his header as well as a decent attempt from a pretty tight angle in the second half. Over all though I thought he was our best player today. Aluko had a pretty poor game, and totally drifted out of the match in the second half, stopped chasing balls etc and looked shattered/uninterested. I also thought the three officials were very poor today as well, very inconsistent. The way calderwood set his team out today gave me the impression that from the start of the season he had been planning on using Aluko and Smith as two wingers, changing positions throughout the match in order to make it harder for them to be marked. Obviously he hasn't been able to do this so far but once Smith gets fully match fit I can see this tactic working very well indeed.
  18. Decided what alcopop your drinking tonight then i take it?.....
  19. I've got to admit im vaguely impressed by your banter onerickyfoster, didnt know you had it in you!
  20. Jesus thats a sinister smile from mizer in the bottom left of that photo!!
  21. Ahh so it's YOUR fault then!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :finger:
  22. +1 Calderwood is frustrating as fuck, but then again so is supporting aberdeen. Highs and lows are all part and parcel of football, as are cup shocks like the QotS debacle.
  23. But you should trust him! I wouldn't have minded young getting a 1 year deal, he is a useful back up player, however 2 years seems a bit much.
  24. Really? you should have said, voice your discontent! Got to admit I agree pretty much wholeheartedly with Ajja here, I don't think Calderwood can be blamed totally for the lack of opportunities the younger players have been getting. Without seeing these players training day in day out i don't think that we can properly judge whether or not they deserve more opportunities in the 1st team. And one thing that really does my head in, is anyone who Isn't totally anti Calderwood is deemed to think the sun shines out of his arse. Believe it or not it is possible to fall in between the "JIG" and "JMG" camps.
