  1. This will hopefully lead to him becoming a fringe player. . .
  2. Without a doubt we should be looking to take 9 points from the next 3 games, however what we should aim for and what we will get are two totally different things. I really think what we take from the game on saturday will set the tone. Win convincingly and we've got a good chance of building up a head of steam, lose and we could be getting onto a slippery slope....
  3. He really didn't......
  4. It was really a match we dominated without ever stepping out of 1st gear, to be honest ive seen more competitive training matches! I though the two young guys played alrite when they came on. Pawlett especially, it was a shame miller took the ball right off his foot minutes after he came on as Pawlett looked as if he had a decent chance on goal lined up. Some decent passing moves through out the game but there was always a real sense that the players took their foot off the gas as soon as we went 2-0 up, which was fair enough i guess considering the match was over, not much point in putting in too much effort and risking injuries for saturday! Over all im sure that performance will have built up confidence, especially in the likes of Wright and Maguire.
  5. Remember and make it to the match this time!
  6. Drinks on you tomorrow then?......
  7. I'll be honest and say I'm disgusted at what I've read in this post, and in today's society its simply unacceptable. Its the kids I feel sorry for, being exposed to such a poisonous environment from a young age is quite clearly shocking. I mean letting your kids grow up to be Celtic fans? You should be ashamed of yourself!!
  8. He got very offended, mainly be me.
  9. Sorry after the tims game its been decided neale's using your season ticket for the foreseeable future, lucky mascot you see!
  10. The globe on niddrie street is probably your best bet mate!
  11. Highlights up: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/default.stm
  12. Someone on the hat mentioned something about wellies and a sheep, no idea where that came from though!
  13. Went for zander too, excellent performance! Kerr ran him close though
  14. His younger brother is the harry potter look-a-like
  15. First you start posting positive comments now this?! What happened to mizer?....
  16. Oh and its not painfully obvious why Celtic have no confidence in Mark Brown, he was dire today! Fully expect Dundee Utd to receive a big big to let the polish keeper move to Parkhead immediately.
  17. Just back from a fantastic game, thought that we took a bit of time to settle in the first half but as we grew into the game we played some very good football. although it is a shame we couldn't have kept it tighter at the back immediately after scoring. We did let Celtic boss large periods of the 2nd half by sitting far far too deep but there was always the feeling we could nick something on the break which was good! I thought Calderwood set out his team very well today, when I heard Duff was playing on the left I feared the worst but as the game progressed it could be seen that he was on the left to help out with Mulgrew's defensive duties, he did have a tendency to drift into a more central position every so often but a goal and an assist on his return to the team cant really be faulted too much! The ref did seem to have a bit of a shocker with his refusal to pull up several blatant fouls with brown especially meriting a card for persistent fouling, same old Celtic though... MOTM for me was really close between diamond and Kerr, I thought both were fantastic today, although maybe diamonds 2 goals means he just edged it. I really feel that in Kerr and Mcdonald we have the makings of our strongest central midfield partnership since Seve and Heikenen. All in all a really entertaining game, up to 3rd in the league and extending our unbeaten run at home. bring on the rangers.......... EDIT: Interviews now on BBC website. 18. Well thats taken care of that "hoodoo". Fantastic game, I thought calderwood set out his team very well indeed today
  19. You manage to fix the draw or something?... Good draw, home tie against one of the smaller clubs. Really glad we avoided any of the SPL teams
  20. I think thats exactly what i need, i just cant be trusted to make my own mind up about what i would like to drink, i need to be told damn it!! Infact a unique creation by a professional mixologist would go down a treat just now!
  21. Worst miss ive ever seen, high and wide from all of 2 yards, jesus! I think im still pretty much saturated from that bloody horizontal sheet rain, bloody alloa :hammer:
  22. I really dont know what i want to drink, can anyone point me in the right direction? anyone?....
  23. Behave mikey, you would shag a mossy hole in a wall...
  24. If we were in the position of picking a replacement captain i think we could do a lot worse than Langfield, he's become alot more vocal over the last year or so and the extra responsibility could spur him on and help his concentration levels, make him cut out the stupid mistakes. Saying that theres no stand out leader in the current squad in my eyes.
  25. Yeah i would agree, i'd also add that he has looked pretty solid playing centre half lately, obviously i cant comment on his performance at hamilton, but the run of games before that he looked impressive. Certainly has been a big part in the settled defence we've had lately.
