Just watched the highlights of the match, the play leading up to our first was fantastic, some of the best football i've seen us play in a long time!

Yes some of his decisions are idiotic, and the fact he hasn't sorted the defence is baffling but i cant see how sacking yet another manager is the answer, we went through years of sackings when things weren't going well and it was never a long term situation, calderwood is responsible for the dip in form, as as the players, but im sure he will turn things round, and 6 games into the season is a ridiculous time to call for his head. Im sorry im no fan of calderwood but that is a very harsh and frankly ridiculous article. Yes we have had a shocking start to the season and yes we are playing some shocking football but its only 6 games into the season, to describe calderwood as a dead man walking now is embarrassing. Give it some time, even though he is an idiot i have confidence he will turn it around, given the last few seasons he has earned the chance to do so

Admittedly i couldnt make the game last night but ive thought long and hard about whether id be happy if calderwood was punted or not. As much as the buffoon frustrates me i do think things will turn round, as soon as this team clicks i think we will start getting the results and performances. How long that takes i dont know but im confident it will. We've been through the whole sacking managers only for no improvement to happen so i cant see what good giving him the dunt will do now.

I think the thing with macdonald is that he makes some clever runs forward, but none of his team makes know him well enough to anticipate these runs yet. Much the same as nicholson when he first arrived

Now is the time to change things i think, we saw last season the effect introducing fringe players had against united. For me foster has to be dropped for hodgekiss, diamond back in defence, maguire upfront and possibly give wright a start!

Just made the mistake of watching the BBC highlights, from where i was sitting on saturday i knew foster should have dealt with the situation before the first goal better but its only watching it close up i realised just how badly he defended. jesus he had numerous chances to clear the ball! Also it looks like seve actually dived out of the way when Graham took his shot, terrible terrible defending, especially from our (alleged) captain! Considine was a nightmare for the second as well, which is a shame as he has been looking solid recently :finger:
