  1. I went for mackie too, was close between him and miller who i thought held the ball up reasonably well considering the service he was given and he didnt really give the ball away too much. Mulgrew was decent as well, although left badly exposed by the lack of cover from smith
  2. The thing is it doesnt look like kerr or mcdonald will provide and creativity, we were relying on smith and jeff to create, and today sadly smith was terrible and jeff may as well have been planted into the pitch his movement was that lacking. We looked ok in the first 15 mins, and near the end when we were pushing at 1-0 down, but for long spells we were terrible (Brunstane thinks we lost because he didnt take part in the warm up this week, last time he did we won 10-0.... ill leave that for others to comment on though!)
  3. I didnt think bebo was all that bad today, far from the worst anyway!
  4. Smith was terrible today, an abortion of a performance. For a winger he spent far too much time in the centre circle and as a result made neither the forward runs to the by-line or offered the protection to the full back, which left us seriously exposed at the back Jeff also vastly underperformed, he always seems like he is running in treacle, so slow its unreal. Because both our "wingers" were so bad it effected our whole game plan, we were over run in midfield. Thats without even mentioning the fact there were large periods of the match we couldnt even string two passes together. :hammer:
  5. You dont half manage to make things sound worse do you! (Dont think they are mine!)
  6. Are you taking into account other costs on a match day? transport, food, feeding your now legendary drinking prowess?.... In saving yourself one pound your costing yourself more money. I'm not saying that Aberdeen haven't done the right thing, I'm only making the point that your logic is very twisted
  7. I bet he would try though! For me it would have to be euro qualification, a cup final/win and a slight improvement in the quality of football
  8. I have no idea, just why are you so obsessed with norway?
  9. Did PT give him that grade?......
  10. Who can spot brunstane sheep in a rare awake moment?.....
  11. Title of a new song or are you asking?
  12. you tried your hardest to get his 15 year old son to have a beer though!!
  13. Sorry i meant the defense from yesterday except bringing in diamond for considine
  14. Yeah thats what confused me! talk about jumping on the complaint bandwagon! The defence put out tonight sounds reasonable, obviously i have no idea how they played though. Swapping diamond for considine and keeping it settled could lead to a fairly solid backline next season!
  15. As a trialist? jesus surely we're a better option that offering yourself for trials with mediocre english teams?
  16. fixed that for you!
  17. I may be wrong but isn't it just rangers and celtic that are trying to get this 5% handling charge, so we wont be making any money from our away attendance.
  18. Argyle sign McNamee 18:37 - 15-July-2008 2 readers have commented on this story. Click here to read their views. PLYMOUTH Argyle have today signed versatile Scottish international defender David McNamee McNamee joins the Greens after being released by the Pilgrims' Coca-Cola Championship rivals Coventry City. The 27-year-old Glaswegian has signed a two-year deal, and joins countrymen Steve MacLean, Chris Clark and Jim Paterson in the Argyle squad. The capture of McNamee represents the culmination of a long-term interest in the full-back from Pilgrims' manager Paul Sturrock. “I've tried to sign him a couple of times,†confirmed Luggy. Click here! “He's a very versatile defender, who can play in several positions, and he's very quick.â€
  19. Sorry i didnt explain that very well either, i meant the papers making it out as if nicholson has been ordered back to start pre season at aberdeen
  20. If by the second article you mean the one discussing Nicholson moving to sheffield wednesday or preston. There were no direct quotes in that article, seems like complete paper spin
  21. Calderwood was quoted as saying nicholson could start pre season with aberdeen if he wanted
  22. We're going to the football?.......
