Basically... my sister has a private reg and is getting my car shortly so it needs to be transferred. I got the V317 form for transferring reg plates but this doesn't take into account that the recipient vehicle is also changing ownership. Is it a case of transferring ownership of my car to her and then having to wait for the V5 and THEN sending away the reg plate transfer from and then getting another V5? Private plates are a fucking massive waste of time.

Aye. Although to be honest I could have been far more unlucky with neighbours. I was more worried about the kind of neighbours I'd have than anything else when I bought my flat. Truth is they're not too bad. Next door is an Indian/Pakistani family. They're ok. They keep themselves to themselves and take in my parcels when I'm nae in. Their 3 kids play fitba in the back garden and since their patch is adjacent to mine they often encroach.
