  1. If it was a small amount then it's going to be a slap on the wrist just like everyone else that's caught with a small amount. Having said this I have no idea how much he was caught with.
  2. Indeed. Agree regarding Gerrard. He looked really up for it. More than usual. He's no spring chicken so his legs won't be what they once were but he's still a massive influence. Cabaye's finish was neat but Suarez's goal took so much more skill. As tlg said it was a half chance at best. When you take into account just how far the ball was hoofed and the touch with his shoulder that brought it right down it's no wonder that there are many people raving about it. I know you have nothing but disdain for Suarez but look past it for a minute, eh.
  3. It's a nice idea and all but let's face it. Other ways can get results too. Other than that pass Enrique was fucking horrible. Not sure how much credit to give him because it was still just a hoof. Suarez's first touch was that of an absolute genius.
  4. Sounds amazing.
  5. Decent result for Hibs too. Goal of the season so far for Liverpool against Newcastle. Just a shame it didn't culminate in Liverpool getting 3 well-deserved points. Enrique hoofs it up the park about 70 yards and Suarez does this:
  6. Yes.
  7. Agree that Vern needs a spell on the bench. Will never happen though.
  8. That was such a massive game. Especially with Hibs and Celtic gaining points. Let's put it right against Smurn. Why didn't Hayes start? His goal line run reminded me of a certain Luis Suarez.
  9. What can be done to address our glaring ineffectiveness at corner kicks and set pieces from a similar area? We have a wee bit of height in the team yet we never seem to be able to do anything from them. Off the top of my head I can't remember scoring from corners at all this season although I haven't checked and may be wrong. I do have a poor memory. We're doing a lot of attacking this season and I'd wager that we're getting more corners this season then by the same point in previous campaigns but we're not taking advantage. I don't know if it's because it's not something we focus on in training or because our players are just shite at heading the ball or if the coaching of this particular area is shite but either way I think there's a huge amount of room for improvement.
  10. That's exactly where the real fans aren't.

I went to see Bond last night (as promised) and I'm leaning more towards tlg's side tbh be honest. I enjoyed it in the end but I thought the start especially was so weak. To the white text.. First of all when Bond hops into the digger and spins the thing around why does he think the windscreen will protect him? Surely it was always a dead cert that he'd take at least 1 bullet? The villain is firing at him the whole time and he takes a shit to the right shoulder area. He's still mobile enough to jump out and battle on with this guy for 10 more minutes. Then Moneypenny takes him oot with a huge fuck off big rifle and he falls hunners of feet into water. Then he falls down water falls etc yet has no injuries besides the initial gunshot wound to the shoulder? He was blown away by a rifle apparently in the abdomen yet has no visible scar of this. Sorry if I sound pedantic but this stuff seems absolutely glaringly obvious to me. I also don't understand why there was conveniently an escape tunnel at the castle. If that was explained I missed it.
  12. Whilst undoubtedly a good, positive thing I'm going to be typically Scottish and pick holes in this. The Academy Shopping Centre is the worst choice of shopping centre. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've been in there. It reminds of of the Indoor Market. Location could be better, that's for sure.
  13. With the exception of Maybury staying on the park instead of getting sent off I think the refs have done ok? The number of bookings speaks for itself.
  14. It's not time I'm worried about. It's a man being branded a racist incorrectly.
  15. If that's all that Clattenburg said then I hope common sense prevails. And I understand now why people are calling for action to be taken against Chelsea if Clattenburg is cleared. It's becoming clear to me that this is an attempt at deflection from Chelsea.
  16. Oot. Would take a draw. Sack the board.
  17. I've seen us play better aye but I didn't think we were that bad? Saves us all an expensive trip to Hampden to see us get pumped anyway.
  18. Agreed. I can't imagine getting wound up about his choice of number at all.
  19. Agreed. Good player. Just never fit. Never known someone to miss that long with a broken ankle. Sad to hear that about Milsom. I hope he's not finished but I think he may well be.
  20. Nope, not recorded. I'm also hearing that Clattenburg called Mikel a monkey. But I also heard that Clattenburg denies this and said the word he used was donkey. Nae idea how much of this (if any is true). Just what I'm hearing. I honestly can't see Clattenburg having called anyone a monkey. Spanish twat I'm more inclined to believe but I agree with Al. Taking offence for the sake of it. If it was me I wouldn't be offended. I get called a Dutch cunt all the time by racists on this very forum.
  21. Is the reason we haven't paid up his contract yet because we hope to find grounds to sack him? He's clearly not playing again. He's not even on the bench. Why not just pay him off so both parties can move the fuck on?
  22. I bow to your superior life choices.
  23. I'd take that now!
  24. This is now no longer the case. In. No longer going to the County game.
  25. I had similar thoughts tbh be honest. Which is why I believe Houston when he said he didn't realise.
