The only negativity I've seen this morning is from Jack McInnes' Twitter where he's living up to the standard spastic yoon stereotype and failing to fundamentally grasp the definition of democracy. McInnes oot. Brilliant battling performance again last night. Against the Huns and the refs. That performance took proper bottle and as tough as it was at times to watch (especially with that commentary) it was great to see us fighting. When is something going to be done about this refereeing? If the tables were turned and it had been a Dons player that bloodied up Lafferty (one day) he'd have been off no doubt about it. This incident also produced one of the highlights from the commentary team. As McKenna sat on the pitch being treated with blood pouring down his face they were adamant that there was "only minimal contact" and that the time ticking away "suited Aberdeen". I also enjoyed the "Rangers don't play long ball football under Steven Gerrard" as punt after punt came forward which McKenna and Considine dealt with nicely. McKenna MOTM for me. Fucking colossus at the back and took his goal nicely. Even Cosgrove did his job tonight and played his part in the goal before the driminal decision to book him for getting kicked. Joe Lewis was calm and dependable again and Ferguson was excellent too. Everyone played their part tonight. McInnes in.

Agreed. Would narrowly side with Joe and opt for him in goal for the foreseeable future at least. The dug was definitely better than Jason Brown though. Useless stupid fat cunt.

It's usually the kids that get a smartphone/tablet shoved in their face to shut them up so the tired looking parent can sit and do fuck all for a few minutes or look at their own phone.

Celtic V Aberdeen League Cup Final - Sunday 2nd Dec
Tyrant replied to Chris Frae Killie's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
You didn't read my post then did you? His job isn't scoring goals because he can't do that. But he's generally failing to make life difficult for defenders too which is what a man of his size should be doing more of. -
Celtic V Aberdeen League Cup Final - Sunday 2nd Dec

Cosgrove plays up front for us. Yet his job is not to score goals. (already a red flag!) His job is to aid advancement by winning headers and flick ons. His job is to be a handful and make life difficult for Celtic. He failed to do his job. I don't blame him. He provided what he usually provides - fuck all. He shouldn't have been selected. Having said that I thought everyone else on the park was good. I was happy with the guts that we showed because all too often this fundamental necessity is lacking. We didn't create a massive amount but as someone else correctly pointed out we were much better than in the semi a month ago. I can't help but feel things would've been very different had GMS not been hurt. I don't think we'd have conceded that goal and we might have created more going forward. Maclennan was exciting and deserves a start. Whether that comes at Ibrox or not is a big decision but if you ask me why not. Put him in and let him cause Rangers problems. Shinnie and Ball were good. As were the back 4. Lewis' save was great and kept us fighting. I thought that have been the turning point but it wasn't to be. The less said about the officiating the fucking better but the "penalty" was far from the only poor decision made yesterday. It's tough to win a game that sometimes seems rigged. It's all very well us chanting "Fuck the SFA!" but we're the fucking idiots who've all spunked £35 a ticket that goes straight into their/the SPFL's hipper. The Tim fans were cunts and behaved worse than the Huns did a month ago. Lots of goading before and after the game. Luckily I'm a reasonable and rational man and as a result I'm not due in court today for retaliating. -
I dare say he'd been taking constant abuse for 90 minutes like he claimed. If I had been standing in earshot of him I'd feel duty bound to abuse the cunt too but unlike most football fans who have issues dealing with their emotions and quickly default into neanderthal mode I'd not be foaming at the mouth with rage when he gets (and takes) the opportunity to get it right up us in return. Same with Kris Boyd. I'm only too happy to call the fat cunt a fat cunt but if he scores and gets it right up us I have to take that on the chin and won't be seen screaming at the ref to book him for winding up the fans. Pathetic fuds. Fans asking for bookings for players "goading" them or fans that throw coins or punches at players and staff are very much in the wrong no matter what's happening on the park. Having said that I had to fight the urge to go and belt Flanagan on Sunday. What I don't understand is why Lennon (and the Hearts keeper for that matter) hit the deck like a sack of tatties when they got struck. If these incidents happened in a pub there'd no fucking danger they'd go anywhere near the deck. I hate the "hit the deck" culture that's infected all of football recently. I dare say it was sair but for (a supposedly hard cunt like) Lennon to be laid flat out by this incident is almost as pathetic as the perpetrator.

Was it not on our way to winning the League Cup a few years back that we beat Celtic 2-1 at Parkhead?

Aberdeen v Hamilton - Halloween fright night

His work rate was good and he mucked in defensively but when trying to go forward and relieve the pressure on ourselves he was fucking hopeless I'm afraid. -
What a rude cunt!

Anderson needs to spend less time reading the fucking bible and more time working on his game. -
Glad yer speaking to me again Big Man. It was more those who were excluded. I like Dom Ball but I wanted more attacking minded players involved. Whilst Wright wouldn't have been my first choice I'd rather have him in ahead of Ball against opposition as poorn as the likes of Rangers. I was also pleased that Cosgrove and May weren't starting. Although I don't rate James Wilson much either he's more technically capable than Cosgrove and arguably May too.

As brutal as that was to watch semi finals against the Huns are about results and we got the result. I've been getting increasingly quick to criticise McInnes and I wasn't impressed with our game plan on Sunday but I do think he deserves credit here. His tactics paid off (just like the same ones did at Parkhead on the final day of last season) and Gerrard was exposed. He didn't have a clue what to do. He was on Hun TV (I think) and when he was answering a question about whether he had any regrets he said "I shouldn't have played Morelos against Ayr Utd." Maybe the thick cunt shouldn't have got himself booked! I was mostly pleasantly surprised with the line up although I'd have given someone else a chance over Wright and I knew Considine was going to be a full back which again didn't work. Him having to go off (with, in hindsight a minor injury) was a blessing in disguise I think. Everything good in the first half went through GMS. He did well and competed well with that horrible cunt Flanagan. The ref got the two penalty calls correct apparently although I still haven't seen them again. Fucking nowhere to be seen (along with McGregor assaulting GMS ) although the way the game was being reffed I was convinced they'd both be given. They got everything 50/50 and they were getting soft decisions that we just weren't. I assume if the ref had gotten either of them wrong they'd have been plastered all over the highlights. Hard to pick out a MOTM but it has to go to one of the back 4 I think since we stood off for about 3 quarters of the game. I thought Logan was really good. The boy Sadiq is fucking worse than Cosgrove and didn't seem to be aware of the offside rule full stop. Pleasing.

Therein lies the problem!

I saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night. Thought it was brilliant. Whilst I've only ever been a casual admirer of the Queen stuff over the years I absolutely recognise the brilliance of Freddie Mercury and the miss that he is having died some 27 years ago. Rami Malek who played Mercury was excellent.

I don't even know where to start with this. I'm no Kow sympathiser by any means but Rocket, few (if any) are ruder, more negative or more insulting (and often downright aggressive) than you. Now that is a fact that no one is in any doubt about. But just in case.. here's the evidence for all to see: www.donstalk.co.uk You obviously recognise the difference between an online forum and face to face social interactions. If you didn't and you spoke to folk like this you'd get smacked in the mouth on a very regular basis but yet you seem to let Donstalk wind you up a lot. Why? What are you getting out of it?
-
I'd hardly call it "butting in". We're on a public forum; the whole point of which is to discuss and debate. As for the differing angle.. I'm not sure what the issue is with that. It almost sounds like you'd have preferred it if I too had as good as said you were lying. All you've got to do to "win" here is show that your claim is true and anyone who questioned your integrity will be own you an apology IMO.
-
By definition you're making a claim by stating something as fact without providing evidence. I'm not making a counter-claim. I don't disbelieve your claim but I do wonder what the reason is for your reluctance to post your proof?

Parking around Hampden isn't a problem. It's getting away afterwards that's the pain in the cunt.

No we didn't. No idea where that is coming from. We were shit then and we were shit on Saturday. I've run out of patience with McInnes. The first half on Saturday was particularly bad. Playing with such fear and so worried about what they'll do. In the second half (once the damage was done) we finally started to play and showed that we have it in us to hurt them but yet we didn't try until we were two down and it was too late. Not fucking good enough and I fear it'll be exactly the same on Sunday. The semi is now a massive game for McInnes if it wasn't already so. The one positive from Saturday was the performance of Niall McGinn. He looked interested and most of our good play went through him.

I can only recommend these Super Nintendo style ones. I used them with my arcade machine that I built over Christmas last year. Amazon Link This machine uses a Raspberry Pi but the pad should behave the same when using Windows. I thought about bluetooth ones but read of issues with input lag so I plumped for the wired ones which I've had no issues with at all. Although if anyone does have experience of newer style pads (with more buttons) I too would like to hear it.

Agree that golden goal was horseshit. Also agree that the away goal rule is fine as it is.

Aye but his lawyers said the claims were fabricated so let's all move on.
