  1. It tastes like shit.. but if it's free shit..
  2. I think it's ridiculous that even slight contact can warrant a penalty. Shit like that happening makes the game so much less appealing to me. It disturbs me that folk are defending Berbatov here. It was blatant cheating. I haven't and won't defend any of "my own" players when they do the same so I reserve the right to moan about it when it goes against a team that I want to see win. And Bobby - You're right. But Berbatov wasn't moving at speed. He'd stopped and ran out of options hence his trip to the floor. Rules are rules and I believe the rules say no simulation. Berbatov simulated.
  3. Yes I said that... I've still got no idea what you're going on about here: What part? I thought it was the slight brush on Berbatov's ankle two strides earlier that sent him crashing to the deck rather than placing an arm on him? If either of those things send you hurtling to the deck you shouldn't be a footballer. It's cheating and Berbatov should be fucking embarrassed. But he doesn't have to be because his cheating got him the coveted MOTM award.
  4. I’m not ignoring anything. I’m just unclear as to what comments you’re referring to. As I said.. football is a contact sport. If that’s a penalty then we should get several per game. Berbatov hit the deck voluntarily. Agger’s challenge wasn’t enough to send him to the deck. This is known as simulation - a bookable offence.
  5. What part about MOTM? Agger is not to blame. If that's honestly a foul then there should be 50 penalties in every game. It's a fucking contact sport and the contact made wasn't nearly enough to send Berbatov to the deck. Which is how he managed an extra couple of steps before hitting the deck. If you think that's anything other than a dive then it's maybe you that needs to take the tinted specs off. It's fast getting to the point where you can't make contact with anyone in their penalty box. If you ask me that's fucking bollocks whether it goes for my teams or against my teams. My view of the tackle is irrelevant as it's the penalty that we're disagreeing on. The tackle deserved a red and that's what it got. End of.
  6. I'll thank you for not telling me when I have and haven't complained. I despise diving. There's no doubt Gerrard's taken a few tumbles. But that's got fuck all to do with the fact that Berbatov dived and won a penalty to win the match. I don't like seeing Gerrard dive. The clips include some pretty clear fouls too. The one in the CL final for example. Rino clearly catches his foot whilst he's traveling quite fast right in front of goal? Why would he dive when he could have slotted it into the net if he stayed on his feet? Anyway. I'm not saying Gerrard's an angel.
  7. Gerrard's foot was never a couple of feet off the ground. Half a foot maybe. It wasn't a good tackle and the red was probably warranted but people are going OTT with how "dangerous" it was. TF - It was the ITV guys that decided the MOTM match was Berbatov.
  8. :lolabove: Ridiculous behaviour from Berbatov. And then they go and give him Man of the Match?! He did nothing the rest of the game. What does that say to kids? Take a dive, win a pen, do f'all for the rest of the game and you'll get MOTM the match. Disgraceful. I can't really argue about Gerrard's red card. Although no more "dangerous" than Rafael's two footed tackle on Meireles seconds earlier. I thought Giggs and Kelly were the best players on the park. Berbatov? At least Torres is well on the road back to fitness...
  9. In/oot: Oot Prematcher: Dicking about at the scrappy wading through the Capri's. Match: Home Postmatcher: Home Prediction: 2 - 0 Dons.
  10. Tannadice gets my vote because of the wooden seats they had. Police kept telling me to sit down but I physically couldn't.
  11. Because Che and sickles aren't associated with the Hunnery. The problem stems from Huns waving Union Jacks constantly. That's why I'd rather see us bin it anyway.

Aye I remember spending hours playing Broken Sword.
  13. Probably Tannadice but Tynecastle is up there as is Ibrox.
  14. Undecided. Nae sure if I'll get £15 worth of enjoyment oot of it.
  15. It was a strong challenge. If it was an Arsenal player or an Man Utd player you could bet we'd be hearing the greeting of Wenger and SAF from up here in Aberdeen. Personally I think the challenge was OTT. It was clear Folly was hurt and badly.
  16. Bebo. Followed by Langfield and Aluko.
  17. I've heard this boy ships goals.
  18. I'm a "nit". Thanks to the Huns I associate Union Jacks with "loyalist" hun pish. I'd rather see the flag gotten to fuck.
  19. Wonder if Man Utd would give us Michael Owen for Ricky Foster?
  20. Firstly, no. And secondly, no.
  21. I was at said Chelsea game and Lucas didn't do too badly as I recall but a few improved performances doesn't suddenly make him a Liverpool level player. Anyone who thinks otherwise perhaps doesn't "know his football" as well as he likes to think.
  22. Sorry Robo but I agree with Ally. Although I would concede that Lucas has been less shite this season but that's maybe down to even worse signings such as Konchesky coming in. I read a disturbing rumour yesterday that Liverpool were "setn to reward" N'gog with a new long term contract.
  23. Lost pateince with Woy. He may now fuck off. I'd actually rather have Rafa back.
  24. Vernon scores almost as the final whistle was going. Yas. I'm awa' hame.
