Agree with everything there. 2nd half was the first entertaining football I've seen since beating Rangers last season. Hope we keep it up. JDV did really well and did his chances of staying no harm at all. Keep it up, Dons.

Whilst I'm no fan of JC these days I still think we obviously did the right thing there. We're about 10th in the league which no one else managed consistantly. I do think that he's run his course now and should go.

This is kinda what I'm thinking too. I cant remember the last time I was at Pittodrie and wasn't bored to tears. St. Mirren were just really bad. Any slightly better team would have beaten us. Like ICT, Hamilton and Dundee United. Excuse me for not getting that excited about turning the corner after Tuesday's game!

There's a rumour we had Thiery Henry when he was 17 but he was too small to make it at Aberdeen. Not sure how true this one is.

The crowd at Pittodrie is fucking ridiculous. I'd hate to play in front of us. We certainly need to get behind the players more and if we must scream bile at the top of our lungs let's at least do it towards the manager (not that that wasn't going on) as he is responsible for putting the players on the pitch. One idiot in particular was last week having a go at fans around me for "not getting behind the team" yet this week he was screaming abuse at everyone at the top of his irritating lungs singling out Charlie Mulgrew and Seve in particular. I'm not saying players should be criticized. But this guy's only trying to wind people up and no one needs wound up even more at Pittodrie!

Game was pish. I was immensely bored. I didn't see alot of the key incidents because I was looking into the sky for UFOs. We won, aye but it was a let off because St. Mirren are gash. I was resigned to 0-0 yesterday. Pleased that we won but unless there's a drastic improvement there's absolutely no chance that I'll renew.

I was down at the PSV/Liverpool game at Anfield recently and the PSV fans were singing Everton songs and getting right in the faces of the Liverpool fans and they weren't with a police escort and no one batted an eyelid at them. Things have obviously changed.
