Listening to Derek McInnes the other night at Pittodrie it seems clear to me that he sees him primarily as a midfielder and implied that's also where Shinnie prefers to play. So I wouldn't put money on seeing him at full back again any time soon.

Buying flats? What would we be doing that for like?
-
You're not wrong. Rent has went down a fair bit recently. (And I think it had to. It was getting ridiculous tbh honest!) I'm happy to lower the price a bit for folk who'll pay on time and won't trash the place. It's nae done up particularly funcy but it's nae bad. Decent storage, free parking, short walk to hospitals etc. I definitely plan on getting some adverts up in ARI. I think if it's an HMO you need even fucking more smoke alarms but mine isn't so just the three. Got a call from the sparky there and got the bad news.. more work needed so it's looking like a kick in the cunt off of a grand for this.

DM McInnes explained the other night that he was recalled because Bristol City received an offer for him.

Have a Simmie.

So we're not moving to a new stadium purely for the financial gain of a few? And Stewarty isn't one of those few? And I'm the "dribbling drooler"?
-
2 bed flat a stones throw from Berryden and ARI andCornhill hospitals.

I still remain firmly in the "I don't want a new stadium" camp. Aye Pittodrie is a ball hair away from derelict but that's because we've deliberately not maintained it because "we're moving to a new stadium soon anyway". That's a fact. I heard it in person straight from the horse's mouth. But clearly enough time has now passed for most of you to have forgotten that and accepted (as was the intention) that we now "need" to move. We don't. Rico has covered in great detail the alternatives. But if we do that Stewarty doesn't get his luxury flats near the city centre built. Pittodrie has a shite atmosphere most of the time but in a new stadium it'll be worse. I'll sound like a broken record here but how many new stadiums have a better atmosphere than their predecessors? Brockville --> The Falkirk Stadium. The fucking lego arena in Livingston. (Gads) Highbury --> The Emirates. Maine Road --> Etihad. Struggling to think of a single one where the atmosphere hasn't noticeably suffered. Although maybe there are one or two exceptions. I'm not a fan of football clubs moving out of their cities. We've got a cracking location currently. Many people can walk. Far less people will be able to walk now. Aye there's traffic congestion after games but that's something that's not that fucking difficult or costly to sort. We just don't do it because we're stuck in the status quo. Westhill may well be easier to get to once the bypass is in place etc but it may not be. There's too much guesswork going on. (Although seeing all the ignorant pricks that live near Westhill shitting themselves about "20,000 hooligans on the rampage every saturday outside their homes" makes me want to build it myself just to get it up them. Half-wits. The bottom line is that we're being pushed to a new stadium for the financial gain of a few and that shouldn't ever be acceptable.

Any cunt on here a landlord? It's a route I'm sort of being forced to go down due to my flat not selling. Dropped the price a couple of times but to no avail. Not willing (can't afford) to drop it any further so decided to try renting the place out. I had no idea how many hoops (if you'll pardon the expression) that you have to jump through to rent out a property! Energy Performance Certificate Gas Safety Certificate Co2 detectors Funcy smoke alarms x 2 and heat detector x 1 (All to be hard-wired in of course) Legionella Risk Assessment PAT Testing Electrical Installation and Condition Report Landlord Registration Permission from mortgage lender The only ones that I can do myself are the permission from lender and (apparently) the legionella risk assessment and all of the rest cost money. It's a mug's game. No idea how low I'll have to go on the rent to get someone in because the rental market isn't exactly in overdrive either but if it covers 2 thirds of the mortgage I'll be lucky. (And happy!) Looking at a considerable outlay just for this before I've even thought about what the flat needs! The worst part is that I'd have probably just sat tight and left the place for sale if I wasn't looking down the barrel of a 100% council tax increase on the place. 2 x mortgages and 3 x council tax as well as all utilities etc is too much even for a man of my considerable wealth. Any experienced landlords on here with any tips? Seen/heard so many horror stories which I'm keen to avoid.

Did he? I read that he took all sorts of precautions to minimise harm to his body. He was chubby but never grotesque.
-
I'd be very disappointed in Considine if he went to The Hunnery. But also I'd be disappointed if AFC Football Club didn't offer him an extension worth signing.
-
As Rocket said I doubt he has much to do with how the chain is ran. He'll have put his name on it to get folk through the door. Just like that hun cunt Gordon Ramsey across the ponds. Cunts can't seem to get enough of him over there. His name is attached to countless restaurants but he has no say in how they're ran in any way.

When it comes to tatties only Russets will do. They can withstand 12 hours in a slow cooker and retain their texture and shape. Others will turn to mush.
-
Currently enjoying some slow cooked tatties and beef that cooked overnight. I definitely prefer cheaper cuts cooked for longer than more expensive cuts cooked quickly.
-
FFS. I've got a voucher to use! I've heard mixed reviews of the place. Never been but looks like I'll be trying it soon!
-
Can FIFA just push this through or is there a vote involving the FAs of members? I know England and Germany are against it and the majority probably will be. Just hope common sense prevails.
-
I get where you're coming from. I'm not a fan of it either but those are the rules. Which is what many just don't realise. As pish as many refereeing performances in this country are we have to remember that they spend much of their time studying the rules. We don't. The ref has to make a judgement call about whether the blocking player can play the ball as Rico alluded to. But to be honest 99 times out of 100 in the cases that I've seen they are close enough to shield the ball as per the rules.
-
And against the Huns and Tims. I'm sick of us standing back and watching them play against us. We show them far too much respect. We should be getting stuck in on those cunts too.
-
If the ball is at your feet and you can kick it any time you want you're in control and shielding the ball is perfectly reasonable. If a player knocks the ball past you and runs round you and you block the player then that's different because you're not near enough the ball to be able to play it and in that case it would be a foul for obstruction. As far I know this is how the referees look at it.

Sounds shite. Nothing booked yet but I have one or two plans. I'm planning on going over to Flushing Meadows for the closing stages of the US Open this year. My Mrs always talks about wanting to go to Lanzarote again so we might actually do that. I've nae been and it's not somewhere that she's manage to sell me on but I suppose it's not just about me! And I might enjoy it so will see if we can sort something. Anyone been? I'm assured it's not full of cockney/pikey rude boy cunt wankers.
-
No. Put some fucking clothes on if yer leaving the hoose ffs. How hard is it? Fucking minks.

The general wankfuckery shown by Aberdeen fans at Ibrox, Hampden and more importantly Pittodrie. Some of the utter nonsense you hear out of folk's mouths is embarrassing at best. The moaning and groaning and unmistakable air of negativity that engulfs Pittodrie 99.9% of the time thanks to our own fans. They get on the backs of our own players instead of trying to unsettle the opposition. Opposing managers rightly utilise the tactic of frustrating us because they know we're always a ball hair away from slating our own players. The abuse Niall McGinn gets is a fucking disgrace. Folk who think they ken the rules but don't. (exemplified by the comments about shielding the ball as it goes out of play. You're allowed to shield the ball so long as you've in control of the ball.) Linesmen watching a player busting a gut to get to a ball and then raise their flag for offside when they get there. As soon as a player is active the flag should go up surely? Sprinting to get to the ball is a player being very active!
