  1. Q&A session for black and gold season ticket holders. Anyone going? Worth going? Any burning questions we should ask?
  2. Wasn't far off. Unfortunately. Although we still could have an should have got a 3 points out of this game. Take away their dodgy pen and add our stonewaller and Taylor's disallowed goal. :hammer:
  3. Nae if they continue to sing their weird songs that no non Ultra knows/cares about. Singing Stand Free is too mainstream for them.
  4. FFS sake. McInnes oot.
  5. I can see him finding a bit of form again with getting a run of games and him propelling us to league glory.
  6. What a bounce!
  7. I have no doubt him and his staff are looking but it's whether or not those looking have the ability to see a gem where others can't in amongst the abundance of shite.
  8. Glad to see you've cheered up a bit, Rocket.
  9. Pish. But Pawlett did well last night. Drew a lot of free kicks and fouls and if we had a fucking clue about taking a decent set piece we could have done Caley some damage.
  10. I ken I'm usually a ray of optimism in this bleak sea of pessimism that is Donstalk but I've got a bad feeling about this one, lads. I'm going for 2-1 them with them coming from behind for the win. Hope I'm wrong! COYR.
  11. Adam Johnson - Stupid cunt. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35559931
  12. You're clearly not familiar with the Aberdeen team of the early 00s when every team was our bogey team!
  13. I think the youth point is a little harsh. Storie, McKenna and Shankland have all broken through under him. Admittedly McKenna only just. But Storie will stay in the 1st team plans as long as he plays well and Shankland is oot because he proved to be shite.
  14. Was that around the time of that pumping (no pun intended) down at McDairmid Park?
  15. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Cheer up, Walker. I'm sure if Celtic stumble much more they'll get help from the officials to ensure they manage to stumble over the finish line. I'd say Hans has got the makings of a very decent pundit about him.
  16. Wonder whose idea it was for that show of solidarity towards the huddle. (Still can't find a decent picture of it!) Not something I've seen us do before but if we back it up during play I'm all for it.
  17. It's a big game. One we must win after last night's victory.
  18. The bit about Celtic not fighting back is definitely a quality that they've lost since MoN left. Even if we went 2-0 up against that team I would fully expect them to fight back for at least a point. Although I think their team was a lot better in that era. But I think you're being harsh on McGinn. He was full of effort and hassled Celtic when they had the ball and always looked to hurt them when he had the ball. He also assisted twice last season when we beat them 2-1.
  19. I thought he was absolutely excellent last night. Got right stuck in and Celtic didn't like it. He played like a veteran. I don't know much about the boy but I'd keep him in the team ahead of a fit Ryan Jack at the moment.
  20. Please please please let that happen!
  21. Maybe if they fail to come up but I can't see them failing this season.
  22. Really hope Leicester do it! Still think it'll be Man City.
  23. I'd be surprised if it took as long as that for that "invitation" to be forthcoming.
  24. What a bunch of fucking thickos on that site! It's understandable that they'd be upset at us trying to sign another one of their "best" players and they harped on a lot about how we were "shafting" them by not leaving them time to sign a replacement but the transfer window is the transfer window. They (and we'd) be naive to think that Tansey was our first choice. He clearly wasn't. But as long as we're operating within the transfer window we're doing nothing wrong. The fact that we're signing a lot of their players is tough shit. Bigger clubs buy players from smaller clubs. That's happened for decades and decades. The comparison between us and the Old Firm of the 90s was nonsense too. We buy Caley players to strengthen our 1st team not to pad out our bench. The rumour I heard was that we'd not offered the cash up front but rather in a structured deal and Caley wanted the money up front but according the McInnes now that wasn't the issue. I'm confident that we've done nothing wrong. The Caley fans greeting can be quite simply put down to sour grapes. We have to deal with the same thing. Sunderland came in and took our best player for peanuts. No one was angry. We didn't begrudge Russell the move.
  25. Clubs should be ensuring they get the cash up front from this mob.
