  1. Sack the board.
  2. I assume there wasn't a set period of time to repay it? Did the Rangers board really agree to a loan that Ashley could recall at the drop of a hat whenever he felt like it?
  3. If he's good enough he's old enough!
  4. And all we had to do to avoid a Tory government was vote yes. As you can see I'm still trying to "get over it".
  5. You're probably right. But can't really moan about being left in the U20s if he misses all his first team chances. He got a start a few weeks back (against St. Johnstone?) and although hasn't had a lot of game time has still had chances that he's missed. If he's ready for the first team it's about time he showed it. I'd be tempted to start him against Dundee.
  6. Whilst missing sitters for the 1st team.
  7. He missed another sitter on Sunday. He can't keep doing that
  8. Have to admit I've seen next to nothing of May other than the semi final at Ibrox. He seems to be very highly thought of. Is he maybe a bit too similar to Rooney though? He's not the quickest of players I don't think.
  9. Disappointed by the lack of headbutt.
  10. I don't buy that either. I can't understand why people persist with this "the Yes/SNP campaign shouting down again". Pish. Yes there will have been folk who raised their voices but it is sheer mind-boggling ignorance to genuinely believe that that happened on only the SNP/Yes side. That happened on both sides. I'm all for debating like adults but when these clowns were voting for their sense of british national pride or because their partners had told them who to vote for it was frustrating. Then of course there was the "I have my reasons for voting no. I'm not going to go into them though" mob. And don't get me started on the phone calls that pensioners were getting telling them they if Yes won they'd lose their pensions. If anything the Yes campaign were a bit naive by not blatantly lying as much as the No campaign. There were answers to questions. But the No folk just ignored them because they had made up their minds. That's fine. But you can't say there weren't answers when there were - they just didn't suit your agenda. My mortgage gets paid and I'm relatively comfortable. I don't have kids but I'd really have to think about it if I do... By the time they got to university age I'd bet they'd have to pay tuition fees! But I read the numbers and to me it was clear that we'd be better off without the rest of the UK. Which is why I wasn't shitting myself that my mortgage would quadruple or my hoose would collapse (or whatever yous were all worried about) in the event of independence. As far as I could see the gains outweighed the risks. But I agree re one thing. If there was another referendum in 2017 I don't think the result would be any different. Although maybe all the farmers would then have to vote yes this time to get back into the EU since Cameron is determined to get the UK oot.
  11. Folk are far too quick to judge players. It's mental. Judge the boy at the end of next season.
  12. This grinds my fucking gears. You're far from the only no voter to be giving it the "let it go" pish along with the others going on about "sour grapes" and other such childish pish. This wasn't a fucking football result. It was the future of our country and it was taken from us by a mixture selfishness, fear and ignorance. These folk moaning about Scottish nationalism whilst brandishing Union Jacks and completely unable to see that as British nationalists they're just as bad. But we did vote no and as a result we have the government that we deserve. I cannot wait until the day comes that we can properly govern ourselves.

    Andy Murray

Murray was indeed awesome. Looked like a seasoned clay courter! Nadal made errors but I don't think as many of them were unforced as the stats would tell you. Nadal knew that Murray was in the form of his life and had to go for lines a bit more. Anyone know why Djok didn't play Madrid? On this form Murray could go a step further at the French and possibly make the final!
  14. I'll tell you what would be ideal. If we had our own parliament and that we got the government that we voted for an if it had genuine power to shape the country rather than a few token powers that Westminster deem unimportant enough to let us decide for ourselves.
  15. Aye but not many. Aberdeen North being one of them. There were a handful of seats in Scotland and Northern Ireland that they didn't stand for: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32624405
  16. Oh goody.
  17. Agreed min, Agreed!
  18. Only the bit at the front that has the different shade of red for the pattern. I quite like it.
  19. Anyone ever done the Eurotunnel in their car before? I believe you board at Folkstone and drive oot again near Calais but I can find surprisingly little online about it. Can't even see how long the crossing takes. The ferries are mental expensive so it looks like it's the tunnel or nothing. Do you stay seated in your car for the duration of the journey?
  20. Went there a lot as a kid. There was nowhere else you could go to launch yersel into water from moderate heights. You can maybe so that at the Sports Village now? Nae sure but although I doubt I'll ever use the baths again it would be nice to see them re-open. And as Tom says that last thing we fucking need are more offices. Or "luxury apartments".
  21. Nail on the head. Don't know why people even bother reading the opinions of these wankfucks or even bother reading these rags.
  22. Willie was managing the Dons when I made my supporting debut at Pittodrie but I've seen more than enough of our history to fully appreciate just how good a player he was. Thoroughly enjoyed reading his book too. It's a shame management didn't work out for him (neither in or out of football) but nevertheless he will always be a legend. It's not too late for a statue to be erected so that we can all say erected.
  23. I'm in the "No thanks" camp for a change. Although if Deek feels he's up to the job I will support the move. Don't think it'll be on Deek's mind though.
