Was it down to the apparent back problem (which I thought was fake all along ) or a less hungry-for-success Andy Murray out on court? The Australian Open will be interesting.
All the money I have is tied up in my flat and my bank account is nothing to write home about so this isn't something I have to think about yet. Happy fucking days.
Can't even remember it. Actually the memory that sticks with me most from that day was the fear that I had because Snelders wasn't in goals and I didn't like Michael Watt. I seem to remember being annoyed because it took Snelders ages to come back.
Just had a look on Youtube for the goal but no such luck. Can anyone describe it to me in painstaking detail a nut shell?
EDIT: Found it. Cracking goal indeed.
I went to every game in our 1995 cup run. I remember going absolutely mental when we scored our extra time winner at Fir Park. More of the same please.
Fairly poor performance after a really bright start. McInnes set the team up wrong. Apparently he's acknowledged his mistake but it was clearly a mistake that should never have been made.
By the way.. hiya.
I was saying the other day (although I can't remember who to. Maybe myself?) that a transfer fee in the region of £25m - £30m would usually mean one of the world's top players was moving but these days this price tag is almost the norm and poorer and poorer players are going for silly sums. Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of Fellaini and I do rate him but not for the guts of £30m. Then again if Bale is worth £85m (and he isn't) then maybe Fellaini is worth £28m (and he isn't).
Didn't watch the game as I had to work but saw MOTD the Day 2. There was very little between the teams. Had Van Persie put away that chance he had at the end and the match had finished 1-1 no one could really have complained. Although he spent most of the game trying to start fights with everyone. Solid enough defensive display from Liverpool. I'm pleased for big Martin. Don't think one dodgy showing warranted being dropped for that long.
