I don't. We're going to get the comparisons with the Calderwood era regardless. And the Paterson era, and old uncle Ebbe... etc. The point is that such comparisons don't tell us anything about anything. Different players, different tactics, different opposition teams. There is nothing to gain from it.
In reality, with the departures that we've had and the lack of bodies coming back in return of course quality will have suffered, but I think it'll have suffered across the board in the SPL. What is for sure is that we're in for another season of largely shite football, interspersed with probably moments of joy....I think this would have been the case even if we still had JC.
Not to say I'd rather have him as that debate has been done to death. (I don't and we've moved on now).
