  1. Yeah, the third most hilarious thing that happened today! 1. Lee Millers goal 2. Dundee United not getting Europe 3. Hibs fan reaction to Makalamby
  2. That is the draw dates. No its not I'm talking rubbish again. According to Wikipedia, the second qualifying round draw is on 22nd June, with leg 1 on 16th July, Leg 2 on 23rd July.
  3. These guys seem more happy that the protest 'worked' rather than the fact that JC is now gone.
  4. 'Mutual consent' . For the love of fuck. Oh well, onwards and upwards.
  5. Anelka in the lead for golden boot now...
  6. Right MJ, you can go now. Your work here is done.
  7. JimmyJimmy wrote: Low and fucking behold... MiniJC, you don't disappoint.
  8. I think it's great how the JMG group of misfits will now be using his departure as some sort of victory flag with the justification that they were 'right all along'. Twits.
  9. JJ is the most depressing man in sports-management. Fuck right off.
  10. Only if there is a significant step change in the quality of manager coming in will I be pleased about this news. Anything else and its either stagnation (again) or back to the Ebbe days. I'm not always JC's biggest fan, but he must get credit where it is due. And today it is due. If it is a fact that he is gone, it'll be interesting to find out how he is going. It seems to me that its only Aberdeen FC that has contracts in place that are not worth the paper they are written on.
  11. Ok, I'll start: I bet he's stiff now! Wahey!
  12. I don't want to speculate about what may or may not have happened in the incident but its clear that this shouldn't have happened before such a crucial match. Should we not beat hibs on Sunday then there will be some very serious questions that need answered. This is shite!
  13. I'll take a vowel please, Carol...
  14. I liked Willie Young too. I was at a dinner in Glasgow a few years back and he was the speaker at it. He was recalling the difficulty of refereeing characters such as Paul Gascoigne and Paulo Di Canio and he'd said that the most intimidating atmosphere he has ever experienced in his career was an Aberdeen Vs. Rangers match at Pittodrie where he said he got abuse for the entire game. Certainly memorable. I could barely tell you the names of any referees now.
  15. I hate Rolf Harris. I've started watching the new series 'Lie to Me' on Sky 1 with Tim Roth, so far so good. Oh, and Lost season finale last night. What a crock of shit! I've invested too much time in it to give up now though...
  16. Deid rat is in the post.
  17. Quite a lot of people I'd say. I'm quite interested about what goes on in the SPL, whether it be top 6 / bottom six, relegation, 1st division playoffs, European places or the title...
  18. I'm sure you've all now worked out that if we are to get Europe, Rangers will have won the league...
  19. If there was any justice, then yes. But its the SPL we're talking about here!
  20. Just opened a nice cool Cobra.
  21. I wouldn't say easy, but yeah I think we can do it. Whether Rangers can beat United on the last day is a different story!
  22. Hopefully they use the entire volumes of Encyclopaedia Britannica.
  23. Bassong sent off for the barcodes.
  24. Based on some very suspect video coverage and listening to the online commentary, it seemed as though Severin was immense for us. Its evident that we have the nucleus of a decent team, with others on the periphery who can rise to the match on occasion...but its not the matches against Rangers and Celtic where the race for Europe may be lost. Its the games against Hamilton, the dreary draws and countless uninspiring performances that will do it. Next season we're no doubt going to be losing more players again, and how we replace them will be key to next season. The constant rebuilding, tinkering and changes to try and find our best set up with a paper thin squad earlier and the season has cost us...and I don't see things changing anytime soon. Today, there were some very encouraging performances by the younger players such as Vidal, Paton, Maguire, Aluko and Pawlett which bodes well. I think Langfield made some vital stops which may have easily seen him MOTM too.
