  1. Red card! WTF!
  2. From the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/tayside_and_central/8047906.stm
  3. Vidic was all over the place for Wigans goal.
  4. Astonishing to believe that we were playing against the 3rd placed team in the SPL! We dominated for the majority of the game, and for the last 15 minutes in particular Hearts barely touched the ball. However, we weren't "unlucky" not to score - just not good enough. Smith should have put at least one of his two good opportunities away, he's just not the player he used to be. He had a good game, but should have done so much more. Theres no animosity from me towards him, more pity. I know its not his fault that he gets injured all the time, and I think its a sad end to his career. Sorry Jamie, but you are just not value for money anymore. I agreed with the sponsors MOTM, Severin had a great game. Although equally it could have gone to either Vidal, Aluko, or even Foster IMO. Miller had a good 1st half, but fell away in the 2nd. Maguire put in an excellent shift and although I didn't agree with the substitution at the time, Pawlett was a worthy replacement who got wired in. Duff also got in amongst it in the box too, winning some important headers. I know it is still possible depending on a snooker, but these last two games were our opportunities to make ground on our rivals for 3rd or 4th place. They've kept their distance, and as far as I'm concerned its deserved on balance. For as much as Hearts were time-wasting, injury-faking, cart-horsing, shite, cheating bastards...we just lacked the killer touch to finish them off. More fool us.
  5. A bit of indiscipline, yeah.
  6. I don't think there has been much between them, and certainly no-one who has stood head and shoulders above the rest. I can't see what is so contentious about voting for Diamond? I'd have the awards between Kerr, Langfield and Diamond. I'd say Langfield comes in under the 'most improved player' category - an award usually given to a player who has had an absolute shocker in the previous season that by just turning up to training gets him the award by default. Possibly one of the best seasons he's had in an AFC shirt though. Deserves a place in the Scotland setup. Kerr wins it in the 'best newcomer' category - for me a player who has been generally solid and dependable, but needs to keep the form in seasons 2 and 3 to prove himself. I don't think discipline is as much of an issue here - thats what I like to see in a player. For POTY though, Diamond edges it. Dedication, effort, workrate, motivation, etc... He has been more of a captain than Seve this season and deserves the armband for next season IMO. Hows that for sitting on the fence? Awards for all...
  7. No I'm not having a laugh. You?
  8. I'd have to go along with that too. Great cross from Mulgrew and an even better strike from Mackie. The fact that it was at Tynecastle against those fuckers was the icing on the cake.
  9. Diamond gets POTY from me.
  10. IN/OUT - In Prematch - Work Match - RDL, comfy seats Post match - Home 2-1
  11. Could be. I must have got the wrong message from the advert. No doubt we'll get the answer in the next one if she has a ring on her finger.
  12. Ah, ok I just got the impression that was what the news was about. I hadn't realised they had previously split. Still, its coming. What with her background and all...
  13. Yep, thats the one. I'm glad someone else has seen it as I was beginning to think that I had just imagined/dreamt it!
  14. Got this in my email this morning:
  15. I'd doubt whether any of them could even name a Norwegian team, let alone comment on the quality of the league.
  16. The pundits questioning the referee based on his nationality is disgraceful. UEFA have deemed him competent to referee a Champions League Semi Final and that should be enough!
  17. Great finish from Essien. Have they stirred a hornets nest ala Real Madrid at the weekend? I certainly hope so!
  18. Goodnight. I'd love to see Arsene Wenger implode.
  19. From thedailymash:
  20. Fuck, I hope I've got this right. I can't remember what I was watching at the time when it came on and I haven't seen it since. I just remember thinking, 'you bastard!'
  21. I voted Kerr. Maguire was good, especially in the first half but was bossed out of the game in the second. I thought Langfield made some excellent saves but find it hard to award it to him after letting three goals slip (although they weren't necessarily his fault).
  22. I've just seen the latest one. They are having a baby now. I wonder who the dad is?
  23. As long as it is still mathematically possible, I'll remain optimistic that we can still do it. I don't go to each match at the start and think "we're going to get beat here". Not for Rangers, not for Celtic and certainly not against the likes of Dundee United and Hearts.
  24. A lad I know has set up a winch from his flat window to let his cat out for a walk. Most cat folk are loopy. More of a dog person myself.
  25. Fuckity, fuck, fuck.
