  1. Yaaaaaas! Fucking Kilmarnock. I've been waiting for them to get relegated since Jim Jefferies was there.
  2. Grand. Thanks for clarifying.
  3. Hi. Just wanted to check what the policy is on posting youtube links from the official SPFL channel. Does that come under the same category as this thread or, given that the SPFL presumably have the right to post to youtube in the first place, is it okay to embed those in our posts?
  4. Again and again and again and again. This one was so blatant that not even a Scottish referee could ignore it.
  5. I'm currently 6 episodes into 'Your Honour'. It looked interesting from the trailers, but is in reality a bit of a spoon-fed, poor copy of about 10 other series from the last 10-15 years. I'd recommend 'Tin Star' instead. It's far from perfect, but has at least something a bit more interesting and less predictable in terms of both style and content. The first series of 'Bloodline' is also decent if you like that sort of thing.
  6. 'Soma' by The Smashing Pumpkins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RumHTFUV7bA Build up to solo starts at 3:40 Solo starts around 4:20
  7. Big strong boy who seems to know where the goal is, and how to outmuscle a defender without fouling him. Worth a look?
  8. WTF? Isn't he their top scorer?
  9. Huns with tickets locked out of the ground at Fraserburgh due to it already being full on account of the number of counterfeits on the go. That's a hell of a drive just to stare forlornly at a broch turnstile.
  10. I'm pretty sure GMS has 5 now. 1 in Europe, 1 at easter road and the hat trick.
  11. Quite the opposite. Jess was on the huns' books as a schoolboy but came back north.
  12. I read somewhere that the huns had been told it'd take £1.5M before they'd be allowed to talk to him, so they're likely taking time to craft an obnoxious and entitled statement about not being held to ransom, in order to try and mask the fact that they don't have any money.
  13. I don't think the club should move to kingsford, so be sure and allocate those accordingly.

  15. Over the 7 constituencies making up the NE of Scotland, 134413 people voted Tory, as compared to 181578 people who voted for other parties/candidates.
  16. Ooft. Shocking omission. Duly rectified.
  17. Carrying on from the Red Star thread I felt this was worthy of its own topic, if for no other reason than to distract from the ever maddening speculation over who we might/should/won't sign. Who is the hunnest hun of all? The one player or manager who, above all others, really got you thinking 'I'd fucking love it if we beat the huns,' There is a long list of potential candidates so I've listed a few choice examples, but please add any others I might have missed. For me, Souness edges it from John Brown, just for his sheer pantomime villain qualities.
  18. Graeme Souness for me. The 'prince of darkness', and ultimate pantomime villain when I was fledgling Don.
  19. Would that have made it worse?
  20. Fair enough. I get that the average punter might not know exactly where the boundaries of their property are. I'd expect that it should be fairly standard that it would at very least ring a bell with a councillor that a project bordering their property may involve a conflict of interest, and it should be checked out before any approvals go ahead. As for him having no part in the decision, the P&J version of the story seems to suggest something quite different. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/aberdeen/1229641/pay-200000-fix-council-bosss-boundary-wall/
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-39717220 How is it possible that a council member would have to consult with a solicitor in order to find out whether they owned a piece of land that was subject to council funding? Is it really possible that there's an innocent explanation for any of this? Maybe someone more knowledgeable about council proceeding can shed some light, because I surely can't think of one. Thoughts?
