Tbh I'm more pissed off that all the eggs were lumped into one basket in the first place. Seemingly no one wanted to move to Cove and I'd be amazed if anyone ever believed it would happen anyway.
It's hardly unexpected, and if anything it's good that now we might finally find out what Milne is willing/able to do in reality rather than fantasy land.
The debts, the lack of work on long-term maintenance/euro fitba compliance of pittodrie, and immediate dismissal of all other options is still down to the board, not the council. There's no good guys v wanks, just a load of buffoons on every side.
How in christ's name is Stewartie finding the cash to 'donate' to this, when he can't donate a write off of a portion of our debt, thereby reducing the interest accrued...?
no doubting the contribution he's made. fans are too often all about absolutes, like a shite game means you're a shite player.
i personally think vernon's a victim of his own success and brown's policy of always playing safe. should've been subbed against county because he was having a shocker, and should've probably been on the bench at parkhead because the system we play there means vernon was always going to be a passenger. just because he's scored a few doesn't mean he's the best option every time, but stick him up front from the start against most opposition and he'll definitely contribute.
hughes has always looked good enough to me. would have milsom ahead of rae though.
I'm baffled Milsom and Paton still didn't getting a look in after a good showing midweek. Even if both want to leave the club it'd be as well to play them while they want to impress.
over the piece though i'm happier with this team than i've been in a few years. stuttered in the first two games and should be sitting on 7 pts but looking up the way instead of down for a change.
"rangers setting a record for higher ever attendance in any country's 4th tier...probably the 2nd highest attendance of the day in the uk...certainly higher than the combined attendance of all spl clubs today...east stirling would surely accept a 2 goal defeat....eh....it's 1-0 to east stirling..."
Won't be, but I'd pick:
Clangers
Jack Cadger Consi Naismith
Hayes Hughes Ozzy Milsom
Fallon Paton
Bench: Brown, Reynolds, Rae, Pawlett, Magennis, Fraser, Vernon
Arabs saying they haven't been paid a penny.
Sevco are lying about every single thing. Not a surprise given how utterly spineless the governing bods have been.
Tbh I'm not sure this is even cynical enough to match my thoughts.
The powers that be wanted things very differently than the way this season has begun. I fully expect future developments (after the period of 'review' to make sure people are less motivated to speak up) to involve stealing back every inch of ground that the fans have gained.
No compromise from Ian Wood, i.e. there will be a massive funding gap to be filled by TIF OR no money from him. So the cunt that some people refused to accept was clearly a cunt, turns out to be acting like a total cunt and that probably means he is, in fact, a cunt.
Unfortunately I agree with this. Vernon's miss was no more or less about luck than Langfield's howler in the previous game. Both were surely about an amateurish lack of concentration. Both totally unacceptable.
He is a good RB (in particular I remember him moving there at Ibrox with a head bandage and being superb) but playing that position last year was how he did his hammy if I remember right, and we are totally lost without him fit. I'd personally have Ozzie at CM and Jack at RB because I think the bite in the middle of the park is what we need most. If Jack's not having an impact in a game then he can always be moved into midfield.
