  1. Gowsur leaves well http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/motherwell/218902-gow-leaves-well-as-mccall-looks-ahead-to-dens-cup-clash/ don't bother reading the article though. It just confirms it, then bangs on about the cuntybaws ginger hun english tosser
  2. these puns are contemptable.
  3. In/oot: Oot. Prematcher: studying. Match: listening. Postmatcher: studying. Prediction: 3-0 VICTORIOUSNESS.
  4. he is absolutely nothing like as neddy as that riorden fuckwit. I'd say maguire's more of a muppet than a ned. And he probably is better than goodwillie. Got more all round game.
  5. on redtv craigybroon is saying capaldi will be playing for morcambe this weekend due to a short term contract he has, then back up here after. Decision to be made on signing him wed/thurs.
  6. With two of our most important players out for the season, no matter who the manager is, the board had to cover that loss in personnel. Once all movement in/out is concluded at the end of the window we'll see how much extra money is being spent. Hopefully enough to win us at least one of the cups.
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if this means the huns are deciding whether they want bell or clangers and we'll have whoever they decide not to take. both much of a muchness from what i've seen
  8. rumour is hodgson's out today. shame because he's a good guy. after watching the goals from last night i can't tell, is reina trying to get him sacked or is he just shite? http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/liverpool-phones-dignitas-201101063403/
  9. To be fair, I'll bet a cunt like Mike Ashley would lump a fair sum on his own manager being the next to be punted at decent odds.
  10. no one seems to have pointed out that Pawlett is listed as CM. possibly that's why he was shite (if that's a reliable judgement above) again?
  11. exactly and this is why markets need regulators. The spl should be the regulators who stop the OF exploiting the market and creating a monopoly. Instead they're just more fat cats who have engineered a means of skimming cream off the top for themselves. Why in the name of loving fuck is this allowed? OT but what is it about Scotland/UK that we let big business repeatedly fuck us? And not just that, but when people protest against any of it, half the folk moaning about the problems jump on the establishment bandwagon to condem/ridicule the protests*. Fucking ashamed sometimes. *by protest i DO NOT refer to virginal twats with post-it notes dancing with glee while things fall apart.
  12. Would we have to go through the same process to extend his visa as we did to get one in the first place? If so, shouldn't they really tell us to get to fuck, considering we blatantly lied to the appeal panel about needing him specifically for left-back?
  13. finally saw screenwipe 2010. Was shit. Big fan of Brooker but that show doesn't work anymore. Probably because TV is so much worse with each new year. The news has been satirized to death long before the end of the year and all else there is on telly that lots of people watch are the awful reality tv shows. Brooker sending those up does nothing for me as I already know they're shit and don't need someone smuggling them into my life when I've just about managed to avoid them all year.
  14. Done. Clearly Aberdeen fans love going to away games. Would also be surprised if anyone other than tim fans disagree with me that Celtic park is by far the worst away game for every single reason on that form! Truly awful place full of truly awful people.
  15. quote from Doncaster, "There was a consensus that we need change. We have a plan A but no plan B." Why do we have an SPL board at all? Who appointed them and other than a few chairmen, who do they actually represent? Mostly rhetorical questions sadly. It does seem they want to drive as many fans away from Scottish football as possible.
  16. I wasn't seriously saying the two are comparable FFS! Just pointing out that when flags actually represent something divisive they don't belong at football. edit - By 'divisive' i mean, culturally or politically divisive. That's been my point all along. Flag's are by definition, divisive. They establish people as us and them. So no flag, even sporting ones, are 'just' flags. As far as I can see, the point of sport is to take this human tendency to divide and, instead of it being violent and destructive (as UK, Irish, Nazi, confederate, kymer rouge or any other national/political flags are designed to be), they make it something non-violent and productive. That's why union flags (same as tricolours, or nationalist/extreme right/left wing symbols) have no more place in Scottish football than football violence or sectarianism. No need to get knickers twisted just because the nazi flag is the most obvious illustration of the point.
  17. I seem to remember a german flag from the 30s and 40s with the same colour scheme. No flag is 'just' a flag if it has political connotations.
  18. The British union is exactly that - a union of (and not a replacement of) the consituent nations. It is supposedly intended not to mean Scottish identity should be eroded, so the same argument doesn't apply against the Scottish flag as does against the Union flag because union supporters are as entitled to the St Andrew's flag as the Union one. The argument would however run parallel to someone who happened to be a staunch supporter of the pictish, scots or gaelic kingdoms therefore opposing the notion of a unified Scotland that the St Andrew's flag represents... But either way, by bringing those sorts of topics to football grounds, that way ruin lies. And I don't think the colour scheme works with the white being in it.
  19. Why? I'm a republican - doesn't make me like celtic - and strong supporter of Scottish independence - doesn't have anything to do with me hating rangers. The reason the OF are vermin is that those political issues have been assimilated into football and perpetual divisions in Scottish culture are the result. This flag is veering towards doing the same so it can get to fuck. Fitba is supposed to offer escapism from cunt punching topics like politics and religion.
  20. sounds like a positive move. Hopefully it comes to fruition. Also would be great to see one or two Man U loan signings.
