  1. In/Oot: Oot. Prematcher: doing stuff. During game: staring into space wondering what's the fucking point. Postmatcher: doing stuff then bed. Prediction: whatever happens it will make me feel dirtier than certain gentleman's interest websites.
  2. It is all of the above though. Money-wise, shite. Player's actually giving a fuck, shite. Facilities, shite. And we've been getting on the players backs too much for a few years now. Even the season we finished 4th had a fair few games where the players seemed to shit it in the face of the abuse they got. Add to that the lack of support on show last time we played el hunnerino. 1 goal down you'd expect a hell of a noise but there was nothing.
  3. I'd go for Langfield. A good man manager would point out that he really can't be blamed a whole lot for the goals on sat. The only one I'd say was his fault was the foul on maloney and getting his hand to the subsequent pen, but not keeping it out. All the others he was left completely exposed by the defense. The main thing for me is that zander should be no where near the squad. Let alone the starting 11. He was culpable for at least 5 of the goals. He doesn't deserve any more chances.
  4. Are you actually trying to say stoney would come online and post messages about things he knows nothing about? You don't think he's got better things to do than that?
  5. Padre's mate, your destiny is upon you!
  6. Ok. I've been thinking more on this while soaping up my testicles in the shower. Assuming I'm right and the 400k+ comes out of the next manager's budget, that means when zander, aluko and maybe maguire all leave in the summer, it's very unlikely all the wages would be used to strengthen the squad. If on the other hand we let Mcghee see out the season, then surely we can sack him for nothing. I've heard people say his rolling contract means he ALWAYS has a year's worth of compensation due at any time we sack him. Is that honestly true? If so, why call it a 2 year rolling contract at all? It's just a rolling contract. My understanding was that a 2 year rolling contract means a contract for 2 years that is automatically renewed, unless one or other party wants to cancel the contract after 2 years. IF that's true, we can save 400k, use all the wages of outgoing players to strengthen - a new centre back, left mid and full back. We bring in a new guy who does NOT swap our only available players for certain positions...and, perhaps we actually have a real fucking team! That means gambling we won't get relegated this year with Mcghee. A BIG fucking gamble based on the evidence, but I think unless Milne writes off the 400k, by sacking Mcghee we'd only be avoiding another potential nightmare, just to run straight into another CERTAIN nightmare. And yes I've said I think heads should roll. But most of the heads that most deserve to be on a spike at the top of union street are basically untouchable.
  7. My idiocy has me splitting things over two threads now. While I agree Mcghee should have quit after being thrashed, the Scotsman article (in the paper, dunno about online) also mentions the cost of removing mm, sl and cm would be well over 400k. Milne would not take that financial hit I don't believe. I shudder to think what effect it would have on the team for him to recoup his loss from the club's budget. What is the alternative? persist with a lame duck manager? Unfortunately yes. For the same reason we, as fans, have to put up with Milne in charge of the club. Milne won't do the right thing - pay back the money he ran up as debt and fuck off. Mcghee won't do the right thing - quit and waive the pay off so the club can move forwards. That's how it is. And it breaks my fucking heart.
  8. I said when it was 24hr after the game, for no one on the board to have said one word to the fans is the biggest thing for me. I woke up today determined not to give the club another penny with things as they are. If they have nothing to say to me when what they've presided over has led to me feeling like this, then how can they expect me to give them any more? I still don't believe Mcghee going would solve very much. I want everybody gone. Rip it up and start again. edit - took stuff ott because I didn't notice the scotsman thread
  9. Well then if that's how he reacts it vindicates Mghee's decision not to make him captain...Still doesn't explain why he went for kerr instead of A.N Other right enough.
  10. Sounded like it too. Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal home games on the other hand are like the tattiedome and iprix (and pittodrie ). You can hear the sweetie papers rustling at virtually all times other than at goals.
  11. Fucking joke that they've just recycled quotes from yesterday. What the fuck is going on in Aberdeen?? From the board to the manager to the players to the fans to the journalists EVERYONE has been doing a fucking shite job for a long fucking time! Fuck. That. Shite.
  12. Almost 24 hours after the heaviest defeat in the club's history and still not one single word to the fans from the boardroom. Fucking insulting. Can no one at AFC even pretend they give a fuck about the paying public?
  13. can't be arsed even thinking about who I'd want since it's not even possible it would be anyone we can actually get.
  14. My style of journalism is too fresh for most editors.
  15. I think he was meaning along the lines of what he said to redtv. 'at 0-0 we were creating the best chances but not taking them, then after we lost the influence of hartley we gave up the bumhole' I paraphrase.
  16. If the club don't slash ticket prices for the rest of the season then they'll be lucky to get 5,000 a week. Passion or no, while so many jobs are under threat and almost everyone is broke, the idea of a significant number spunking cash into pittodrie would be delusional even if the team seemed to have the slightest bit of pride. Let alone the slightest bit of desire to play for the shirt/fans. The past 15, 20 years has made Aberdeen less attractive to new fans than any other time in its history.
  17. I stand by my "we need a whole new defense" comment from the other day. A couple of those goals were freak mistakes yes, but most of them were just celtic walking past as many red shirts as they wanted. I'd be surprised if being played in that back line for much longer wouldn't ruin Jack's career.
  18. Everycunt's gone mental
  19. That makes me feel sick. It's no mistake they're called plastic paddys. 35,000 Irish died in WWI. http://www.irishcultureandcustoms.com/acalend/vetsww1.html And there was me thinking today couldn't have been any more disgusting hmmm. I thought the poppy was only for WWI, but apparently not. Ah well fuck it.
  20. 8PM post-it note exhibition outside Pittodrie tonight according to the 'Mark Hartley you fucking legend' page on Facebook. The only thing I have the energy to add tonight is; if we have any dignity whatsoever we'll lock all the 'let's all laugh at...' threads for the forseeable future. Also I think we should have a whip round for all the fans who went to the game today, only to be so disgraced.
  21. I'm going to see how the next couple of games go before agreeing on that one All that effort just to prove yourself equally wrong...I can't believe people around these parts question your intelligence
  22. We're shit down the wing defensively and zander and jerel (and McArdle from what I've seen of him) are shit in the air. Where we're MOST shit really doesn't matter when the basic conclusion is we need a whole new defense.
  23. In/Oot: Oot Pre-Match: worryin about results During Game: head in hands Post-Match: fist in wall Prediction: a thoroughly pointless exercise
