  1. Might have been said elsewhere, but anyone know if there's a final figure for capacity figured out?
  2. If Kerr's not 'hiding behind anyone' then why is he not the one speaking to the press about this instead of McD?? shut the fuck up and fuck off, you uppity little ghost, and take gollum with you.
  3. one of the wedensday players threw a punch at a fan afterwards, then a couple more chased the player while the stewards rushed him off. The bbc didn't pay too much attention for some reason. Cowards. Apparently going to be some photos from the luton game in the papers. Players had to escape out the back of the stand after the game because fans stormed the pitch and started wreakin havoc. Police and stewards cowering from stuff bein launched. Typical Luton fans. Hope they never get promoted.

  5. Suicide is painless. Watching Aberdeen is murder.
  6. Was nice to hear more than two words spoken about AFC on 'your call' for a change...just a shame they were all bad. I'm still not convinced sacking Mcghee would achieve anything, but if Aberdeen don't find a player to LEAD then there's no hope of there being anything other than what seems like division between players and coaches. If that continues then the players AND management all need to be sacked - the staff because their position becomes untenable, the players because I refuse to support anyone who could ever go out on the pitch and not even fight to get the basics right. It might be that we're already there, but what is clear is that IF Mcghee gets the chance that all his apologists are saying he should get (a full summer of transfers and training) then it doesn't matter that some say he's already now had all the chance he deserves, it will become absolutely impossible for anyone to believe the Jimmy's dross type lines of argument. If on the other hand we sack him now, all those people will become more obnoxious in claiming (if we are not all that much better next season) that they were right that Mcghee should've had more time. Sacking him now and avoiding the split in the support, that is currently making being at pittodrie so much less appealing, getting worse and longer lasting, is gambling on us being able to find someone to fix this awful bloody mess that the Milne/Miller dream team have dropped us in over the last few years. If we have yet another season of division at Aberdeen then I really fear for attendances and general interest in the club. We're like a modern day dysfunctional family who seem incapable of pulling in the same direction and about to let everything fall to pieces instead (officially I mean, because I'm starting to think that unofficially it's already happened)
  7. Moved this post to the other thread...apologies
  8. Funny that it was clearly written shortly after the close of the january transfer window but only being published now. Surely they wouldn't have been worried about fans thinking that our transfer dealings were less than thrilling? Who needs out of favour Arsenal players when we can attract a 5 goal striker on loan from Plymouth?
  9. Adam Virgo isn't having his contract renewed at Brighton... Please no.
  10. Phil O'Donnell died half way through the season they finished 3rd
  11. 97, including the caley players who signed new contracts.
  12. Barnsley? Fuckin hell that's the least ambitious move in history!
  13. It's like they're over thinking how to solve the problem. I like the idea of restructuring the league cup to give more games and more interest and making the league a straightforward 16 teamer. There would be a financial hit but surely a league that has such a pathetic reputation is losing money on potential sponsorship already. The professional era fucked scottish rugby and the effect on scottish football has only been delayed but it's inevitible. The sooner we can adapt and learn to run within our means the better.
  14. The split is the fuckin problem. If anything I'd say that's even MORE retarded than the current setup.
  15. I don't know, Utd have been far more shit at points during this season than they were in the CL final last season. Even when the epl was at its best it wasn't as good as the media had us believe. Now it's fairly gash and yet we're still told it's the pinnacle. Chelsea and Utd are good, not great but good. Arsenal are quite shit but were close to winning the league. Below that, absolute wank. Point is, yes, there are varying ways to win a game, but if it amounts to the kind of shit on view last night then why pay vastly inflated prices to watch it? edit - i don't know how much that was a counter argument to anything BB says rather than just me spouting my own keech
  16. I'll assume that wasn't intended to say I was disparaging inter. I think in the battle of 2 bawbags, 1 of the bawbags beat another 1 of the bawbags. I just mentioned the passing stat as a follow up to my comment last night that these super duper games are generally absolute shite. If you have such wonderful teams and there's such a disparity in possession then it's pathetic not to be able to convert it. Seemed to me that guardiola got his arse handed to him, which pleases me as he was a drug cheat as a player and seems like a shit manager with no plan B. good players and a shit real team made him look good last season combined with the fact man utd (and epl teams generally) have been shit for a couple years so beating them was nothin special. All in all...meh.
  17. There's nothing different about this end of season to last season in terms of transfer trepidation. The only difference is that there isn't likely to be the same sickening, short sighted rejoicing that our manager got knifed in the back. Even if Mcghee got sacked I doubt there'd be the same shameful celebratory mood among some.
  18. Aye I don't care about the result. I did think it was pathetic that Barcelona completed almost 700 passes while inter completed about 67 in the 90 minutes. Couldn't give a fuck about any of these hyped up teams.
  19. "Fly aways"
  20. I'm currently wearing white sports socks with worn out elastic and a hole where the right big toe sticks out. i'm wearing trousers tho so i get away with it
  21. I'm sick of my money being lost just because of shoddy refereeing. Had 2-0 but not as gutted as I could've been because I also put down Henry 2-0 scorecast after changing my mind from Pique 2-0. VIDEO TECHNOLOGEEEEEE
  22. Fuck the lot of em. It bothers me that people still bang on about how they don't watch spl because the champs league epl is so much better. The vast majority of football matches everywhere are gash nowadays. I don't know if it's tactics cancelling each other out or the money making people generally lazy but whatever it is there's hardly any genuinely good games.
  23. When did the mass migration from fife to inverness happen??
  24. If it was just about talent, I'd say it will be Eto'o 1 - 0 Ibrahimovic but...I like my conspiracy theories and there's no way there wasn't some dodgy handshakes about that transfer deal so I think Ibrahimovic 1- 0 Eto'o with a very soft goal to win the tie after Henry gets the first.
