  1. haa. very possibly. i remember naaaathing...except the footie unfortunately.
  2. i feel quite similar. apart from the equaliser the football was just an unfortunate blip in a good day out. was a great moment and celebration when we equalised but i had no idea whether to be happy/relieved/furious at full time. nothing left for it but to get absolutely off my tits.
  3. sounds quite down to earth. he seems to have a professional attitude as opposed to a mercenary one. surely our best signing in a decade or 2.
  4. nah but i heard quite a few folk reacting in a similar way. I always find it amusing that people sound as if they only just realised how shite he can be. A captain and centre mid is someone you should be bulding a team around but i can't see how he even gets on the pitch. derek young's no worse than kerr and derek young's fairly pish himself.
  5. Apart from Langfield, Zander is the only person who displays any leadership. When he came on the crowd seemed to rally and the team seemed to actually respect the authority of one of the outfield players for a change. I'm bored of telling folk how bad I think Kerr is. Mcd is no good but does bag a goal here or there. Kerr contributes the square root of hee haw.
  6. Breaking chairs? Fuck sake that's much wose than a moronic chant or two. People are free to say what they want, as unconstructive or harmful as it may be, but taking their frustration out on a ground like starks is fucking obscene. Raith played ok, the fans were fine and they must've been gutted that we got out of jail. Smashing up the place is for complete and utter cunts.
  7. The people chanting for Jimmy sounded Aberdonian actually so no need for the insular bigotry. Out their puss on booze and not used to it??? if you think that describes a weegie then yr aff yer heed!
  8. In/0ut: In Pre-match: one of the cunts being driven by the other cunt Match: Away End Post Match: No idea Prediction: 3-1 to the reds
  9. From the beeb's match report - "Aberdeen did muster a late rally with Derek Young's cross-cum-shot being pushed away by Olejnik for a fruitless corner." I was raging too but no need to resort to that! Maybe he has this same problem...? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER0zKTGI2g8
  10. Why is it either or? I'm personally looking for the team to screw the nut and do their fucking job in both competitions.
  11. Fucking cunts.
  12. That's not hard to believe.
  13. I wasn't happy to hear about the link with Mickey Stewart but thinking about it this morning made me realise that, assuming we play this 4-5-1 next season, a midfield of Aluko, Fyvie, Stewart, Pawlett, O'Brien would be possibly the best midfield in the SPL. It would also aloow us to play more of a 4-3-3 when going forwards so I'd be excited to see those two signings. Whether we actually get EITHER of them though I'm not so sure I believe.
  14. Aye. Also like this bit, "Maguire to Killie, you'll be hoping he comes back a better player?" "Well, I'm sure he'll come back..."
  15. 2 strikers out 1 striker in...something else cooking? please yes!
  16. That thought just made me cum in my pants.
  17. God no! We need to use the money for players that will improve us as a team. Without Mulgrew we'd be able to afford a better defender and perhaps build a team that can score from open play or corners enough to make up the half dozen or so goals we'd miss from Charlie.
  18. http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/Home/0,,1,00.html Scott And Lee Sign, Jonno Leaves BORO have this evening confirmed that Celtic's Scott McDonald and Aberdeen's Lee Miller have both joined the club, while Adam Johnson has signed for Manchester City.
  19. as in...
  20. well he's doing a medical which I think involves a spot of running so better get an extention to the deadline arranged...
  21. I actually think miller and lita would be an effective front two in the championship. can't be arsed setting up an account on the boro board to tell em that tho.
  22. I wouldn't want Stewart anywhere near an aberdeen shirt. He was hilarious to watch on wednesday, an odious little cunt who is too busy moaning and giving the refs a desperate urge to send him off to play any football. I can't remember much 'quality' he's produced. Better than kerr and mcd for sure but who isn't? Aberdeen's main priority is developing Fyvie and far better influences could be found than Stewart.
  23. Club website confirms Middlesbrow have made a bid. Half a mil would be great but would be surprised if the fee is anything other than 'undisclosed'
  24. There's just no way any team anywhere on earth is going to pay half a million for an SPL striker who failed in England already, doesn't score prolifically and that they can get for free in 6 months. And no way MM is so daft as to spend any money whatsoever on Kevin bloody Kyle. BUT...just to go along with this fantasy for the sake of argument - as much as I want Lee Miller to stay at Aberdeen, I really can't see him signing a new contract and so half a million would enable us to get good quality players signed up for next season along with a possible loan til the end of the season as a replacement up front. Neither of those scenarios involve Kevin bloody Kyle coming anywhere near Pittodrie! Still though, it just sounds spectacularly unlikely.
  25. Aye, Mackie who was shit and getting dogs abuse for a decade until 2 weeks ago. Miller is shit when the rest are shit because he doesn't win the ball or send it forward. like i say, limited in what he is able to do. when the rest do their job though he can be great at the link up. I just don't see what we can do without him other than have pacey players with poor passing ability and/or poor ball control up front meaning we boot it long just as often but don't have anyone to flick it on and so can't beat teams unless they play a high line. Yes when the passing's good and our very unfit wingers are on we could try opening teams up but we'd be awful just as often as now because our main problem is lack of determination or passing ability in almost all our players on most days. I'm not saying Miller isn't as guilty as others in giving up on a game when behind, but i'm saying it matters less if he's like that than say, mcdonald, mulgrew, foster, kerr etc, because by the nature of miller's game. he could be a bystander for 89 minutes but with 1 spark of genius make a goal.
