Jack is a very classy player, great touch and vision, always plays with his head up. However I'd like to see some more aggression in his game, I think he lacks a bit of bite and that's the only thing that separates him from Brown, and the last 'great' midfielder we had at aberdeen - Scott Severin. (In my opinion.) Get him signed up though, he's a terrific player.

Leaving Reynolds, Logan, Taylor, Considine and Robertson, and the last two are the fragile ones I alluded to. I know Hayes and Jack can fill the full back positions but that just moves the problem elsewhere. Generally, I think the squad is weaker now than it was 12 months ago.

Same feeling I always have the day after transfer deadline day, frustration. Yet again we find ourselves only one or two players short of having a really good, well rounded squad, with cover in all departments, and with Celtic and Motherwell clearly struggling wouldn't now have been the perfect time to push the boat out and show some real ambition? I get the feeling we're an injury or two away from disaster, am I right in saying we only have 5 fit defenders, and 2 of those need to be wrapped in cotton wool. I hate being negative about the dons, just wish the powers that be would match the fans ambition.

It's because the team have been doing alright, most of the wankers on here only come on for a moan or because they want to see another manager strung up by his bollocks. Not me though, I'm a happy go-lucky upbeat kinda guy, as demonstrated by my outrageous '69' points prediction for last season almost coming true. Fucking robbed. WTF fuck has happened to TF funster?

Looks like a proper player to me, all the basic ingredients are there....pace, touch, awareness, I'm delighted to have him back.

They lost half of their good players at the end of last season, replaced them with journeymen and still finished above us. McCall's no football genius, but his players are always 100% committed, he must be doing something right.

Ouch. McCall is a cunt but his game plan worked a treat today, you could see it coming a mile off. They're a big physical team with very little quality, but you play to your strengths and it just shows you what can be achieved. Finishing 3rd behind a team captained by that prick Lasley is going to take a wee while to sink in though. Ouch again.

To be fair he (Tate) wasn't the only one who had a bad day at the office, Considine, McGinn, Reynolds and Jack being the other culprits. Logan was brilliant tonight I thought, and it was a good performance from Robson. Clangers pulled off some great stops, but as usual had two or three howlers. Everyone else was average at best. Could have gone either way so it's a decent point, the team has so much fight and desire it makes me dead proud to be a red. Hopefully they can recover well and be in good form for Saturday.
