  1. They'd have to under sling her mate, cabin doors ain't wide enough.
  2. Safely through.
  3. What a strike, incredible goal. I could watch that again and again, good work fella.
  4. The notion that you would stand more chance of surviving a 747 ditching in the sea rather than a super puma is laughable. The perception that a helicopter 'drops out of the sky' after engine failure is inaccurate in the extreme. The amount of nonsense I've read on this subject by people who are (understandably) freaked out by the latest incident, but are simply writing untruths and ill-informed Chinese whispers, is astounding. People should research their 'facts' before they post them, or at least start your post with 'correct me if I'm wrong, but....'. I have sympathy for anyone who is affected by the terrible series of helicopter incidents in the North Sea, but the inaccurate reporting and speculation is only enhancing the fear and frustration for all of us who travel regularly on these machines.
  5. Sorry Tom but there's an awful lot of horse shit in that post.
  6. I'm not up for a big debate about this tonight, and you're entitled to your opinions whether you're simply stating your thoughts or trying to stimulate a response. What I can say is this horrific incident could have been triggered by a number of things, like you said, design flaw, maintenance error, numerous weather scenarios...maybe something else, bird strike, lightning, contaminated fuel, crew illness or state of mind... We don't know and we shouldn't be apportioning blame until we do know. Your point about corporate greed is a pertinent one, and one I've touched on myself a few pages ago with Kow, the clear conflict of profit versus safety. It just doesn't work. Thoughts with all those involved in, or affected by this incident.
  7. You're an intelligent man Rocket, but your assumptions are so wide of the mark it's unbelievable.
  8. Kings links have loads of 2nd hand clubs, including full sets of irons, or you could buy a cheaper set brand new. And they'll obviously let you try before you buy on the range there. I think it's worth the initial financial outlay as long as you have time to play, that's the biggest stumbling block for me, got the gear and the membership, don't really take advantage of it for one reason or another. Sounds like you need a putting lesson, I might know someone who could help.
  9. Another observation about the ref today, Mulgrew's booking - he took an absolute age to flash the yellow card, seemingly lapping up his new found pantomime villain status as the crowd grew more and more irate. Then Forrest comes on and is fouled as he takes his first touch - the yellow was out of his pocket before the little cunt even hit the turf. I don't rate Robertson, but if he's the price we have to pay to have Reynolds at centre back instead of Anderson then so be it. Pawlett looks incredible, he could be a real asset if he could just find that final ball. Need a result in Edinburgh next week now. Celtic fans are arseholes. I'm drunk.
  10. Oh and... In Quicky in the Red Lion South Wild celebrations as DM's table toppers destroy the former Champions 3-1 McGinn
  11. I've returned a couple of U12 ST's that weren't getting used tomorrow, hopefully that'll put an extra 50 quid in Milne's hipper. I hope they do get sold on though, looks like we're going to have quite a support there.
  12. Fuck me today's been a right little trip down memory lane. Nice to see you back Mr Scientist, Sir.

Rip in peace. The Charlatans are one of my favourite bands.
  15. He used to be 'big boned', like his mum.
  16. I'm good son, nice to have you back on board.
  17. Hopefully his cell mate will make the jailhouse rock.
  18. Fuck me it's just like old times, dons doing well with a decent manager in charge and minijc posting on donstalk, happy days! F'like?
  19. I doubt it. Maybe on Sunday though.
  20. Out Visiting my Granny in Dundee 2-1 Us and Orgasms galore Zola
  21. And... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-23587678
  22. Happy days. Fuck 'em, they'll never learn and neither will their (largely) moronic fan-base. Guess that's a symptom of being spoon fed success for the best part of 25 years.
  23. I remember Ifil playing a blinder in a pre season friendly...
  24. Hope he does well, if he's been shit that's down to a loss of form only because we know he's a capable player. Hopefully he can stay injury free and we'll see him recapture some of that good form from his Celtic days, at least he is a natural full back, and we've been desperate for options in that position. I'm still quite concerned about our back 4 this season.
