    Boston Marathon

Neither did I mate, but I was a fun runner raising money for charity.

    Boston Marathon

By the time the '4 hour' runners come in you're looking at mostly fun runners who're raising money for charity, reaching the finish line in a marathon is the greatest achievement in many people's lives, absolutely shocking attack even if the death toll is low (compared to other bombings around the world). Bad bastards whoever they are.
  4. Angel Cabrera was a star, great ambassador for golf and sport in general. He's kind of like the opposite of that cunt tiger woods. And well done Adam Scott, showed great bottle and spoke really well at the presentation.
  5. I agree with Baggy, Scottish fitba is what it is - we're not big time box office anymore, so let's find our level. There are 6 clubs in the first division that have been in the spl in recent memory, I say let them in and let's get on with a straightforward 18 team league. I'm just as likely to go and see aberdeen play Livingston as I am a game against Celtic. No more splits, play each other twice, better variety and choice of away trip. If they think 34 games isn't enough they need to reformat the league cup, make it start in a group stage like the European tournaments. Fucking splits, 3 way splits, etc it's all bollocks. The EPL don't do it, we should base our set up on the English model, albeit on a smaller scale.
  6. Dons players in 'letting the massive away support down on the big occasion' shocker.
  7. Think he's more likely to go for Seabass to be honest. Balthazar king for me, fiver each way. Ch'Ching.
  8. Someone posted a brilliant thing last year (or a couple of years back) about the National, that narrowed the field down by age, colour, etc etc of past winners. I want that info again. Edit, daytripping posted it on page 1. Panic over.
  9. People in this group enjoy a diverse range of cultural activities They socialise with a broad range of people Many work in management or the traditional professions Most come from middle class backgrounds They often live outside urban areas, and enjoy wife swapping parties with fellow donstalk users.
  10. Established middle class. Posh cunt, me.
  11. Brilliant, hope you get a good turn out and a really good night.
  12. Killie without question. I think it's a real kick in the teeth for us dons fans that we'll be bottom six in a season where Rangers are non existent, Hearts are in meltdown, and utd and hibs are shite. I know top six hardly represents 'success' (as argued countless times during the JMG era), but ffs, the premier league is at an all time low in terms of quality, yet we still seem to have a decent squad of 'underachievers'. Fecked off with the whole thing.
  13. 2-0 Totes amazeballs.
  14. Don't buy that 'never qualify again' stuff, we're suffering a steady decline, but recovery can be just as steady. A situation like this was unimaginable 5 years ago, and it's hard to imagine us being a quality side with quality players again, but it will happen. We'll be back.
  15. Live from Glasgow. Some scummy fucker just spat on Phil Taylor, just after Adrian Lewis suffered horrendous treatment from the crowd during his match. Ridiculous. Great advert for our nation, fucking embarrassing.
  16. I'm astonished that anyone voted for Hughes, he has been absolutely rotten for months. Get rid.
  17. I read it as "Which players should McInnes be", not confusing at all. I think he should be Niall McGinn because he's ace.
  18. Think he was referring to BigAl.
  19. Met him once in a hotel in Broughty ferry, he was in the bar with the binman holding signing talks with some italian nobody.
  20. It's embarrassing, and I'm from the North East. Re McInnes, totally underwhelmed but I think we've got to give him a fair crack of the whip. We've got some decent players, maybe his fresh input will get some more from them? Also there shouldn't be any bitterness / infighting because the changeover has been amicable. Onwards and upwards. Anyone know who his assistant will be?
  21. The manager is of little importance i think, whoever it is they are trying to work with absolutely shit players. Time to face the facts, watershed moment, we just don't have good enough players. Outplayed at home by a very average Wales team. I'll be amazed if we win a game in this campaign.
  22. Mine too.
  23. Nearly right though.

    My Mother in Law

    Beef stock.
  25. If it came down to a straight choice between Adams and ...(wait for it...) Terry Butcher, who would you all prefer? My gut instinct is to go for Butcher, as suggested by Joey Harper in the EE, despite him clearly being an unpopular fucker amongst the fans. He's more experienced than Adams, clearly has an eye for a player, knows the Scottish game, gets his teams punching above their weight, speaks well to the media, and has an obvious passion / commitment for whatever he's working on. I know all about his hun history etc, I am of that generation, but I think I could tolerate him for a couple of seasons to see where it takes us. Thoughts?
