  1. Usual pish from huns "lets sign better players from other teams." Sure I've seen on twitter Jordan Jones and the lad from Dundee, Kamara, are also going to be signing pre-contracts for the team currently playing at Ibrox. Can't see GMS going there. Pretty sure Shinnie's missus was a big encouragement to him, to sign for us from Caley, so assume she's Aberdonian. And that, as has been said, would rule out a normal life in the City for the foreseeable future.
  2. Picked up on Twitter the other day, that the lad Ejaria has buggered off back to Liverpool due to racist abuse from the huns. Not a peep about that in the papers I dare say?
  3. Just as the ball is challenged for in our half, before breaking forward in the attack that ended up in the corner which caused the corner, which Ferguson got the winner from. I was sitting here bemoaning the draw... Cant wait to see McLennan on one side and GMS on the other (& a decent CAM). Just hope we get to keep Lowe after January, too. Cosgrove did well, as did May, and one of McGinn’s better (recent) games. Ref shite as usual should have had pen for foul on Ferguson or at least subsequent hand ball, also thought FK for foul in first half on RHS looked like it was in the box, and was foul outside area on Cosgrove for his “dive”. As was assistant. Like to see a replay but thought first ball through for their second was offside. Just after Cosgrove yellow, ball up other end and he puts flag up despite being 10 yards back, so really had no idea. OK our benefit but still shite.
  4. Not forgetting lafferty should have seen red also... RedTV was a laugh with some hun st holder screaming obscenities throughout the game, at a’bdy and nae’bdy for all to hear on our mics. Hopefully he’s had a heart attack by now ??? Can see why they have such a poor disciplinary record the football they play is atrocious. Long punts from the back might have some success against teams that attack, but why bother when you can sit in and counter. There’s no creativity or guile. Even in the home game when they effectively did that to us, we at least tried to encourage them out to create spaces. McInnes has had the better of gerrard tactically in all meetings so far. In fact I’d say the only hun manager that has repeatedly got the better of him was Murty. Oh and himself ??
  5. Cosgrove sent off for two yellows first for being late second for getting kicked. If being late is worthy of yellow both MacAuley and the black goonie Morelos should also be off. Every time an Aberdeen player goes near a hun they’re on the deck. Huns just passive possession then hoof.
  6. Gutting result but it was a good performance. We seemed to be going man to man when they were in possession, Edouard drops deep and takes the CB's high, Shinnie goes to sleep and losses his man, then an incredible bit of good fortune for Christie that the ball deflects back off Lewis into an area his foot is in as he's falling. Think that was their only shots on target in the entire first half. Not sure what Cosgrove brings other than encouraging high balls, I'd have had Anderson in from the start. We seemed to be breaking at speed at the turnover and I don't think that suited him at all, didn't suit Wilson either as he likes too much time on the ball. I think Sutton's only piece of non pro-tim commentary was when Anderson came on and he stated he was the most natural finisher on the pitch. Would not have been one bit surprised, had he been on the pitch at the time, if Anderson had got on the end of Lowe driven cross at the back post. Lowe had "the form player in Scottish football" in his pocket the entire time he was on the pitch. Hopefully McLennan is given and takes his chance now, and when GMS recovers McGinn is the one dropped. Ball had a good game, I'd have him in instead of Shinne and give Shinnie a rest before the festive fixture pile-up. As for the "handball" what a fucking joke. Surely the first rule of reffing is; if your not sure, you can't give it. The fact is that Ball heads it onto his arm outside the box. That he got it so spectacularly wrong, shows that there is no way he could have been sure. The he ignores Ntcham's blatant control with his hand, which, I think, created a goal scoring opportunity.
  7. Although technically BBC America I think I enjoyed Killing Eve more.
  8. I see the BBC are suggesting he "wound up the Aberdeen fans". I'm sure most were merely shaking their heeds at him making a fool of himself. Plus, if he doesn't actually have special needs, I think it's pretty poor show to be imitating someone who does...
  9. Refused to shake Tony Doc’s hand when he came off. According to RedTV guys.
  10. TBF be fair huns had the bulk of the possession. What’s he going to claim? That Aberdeen were a “class above”? Classless cunt.
  11. Hun boy needs to be offered a longer ban than Jones. Jones was anticipating the contact and gave no attempt to win a peno. Hun boy miscontrols throws his foot in opposite direction of travel and goes down already claiming for the pen. Not that it’ll make any difffernce, he’s fucking pish so they should make him play... ??? CUNTS.
  12. I know rape isn’t about sexuality but I always thought he was a poof. Obviously could never admit it as earnings from anti-homosexual cultures would disappear overnight.
  13. Not a fan of UFC used to look at it 15 - 20 years ago and it was pish (think it was just MMA or cage fighting then), seen a few bits in the last year or two and it looks better, mainly due to lads like McGregor who are not looking to go to the floor and cuddle and I suppose lads like Khabib who want to go to the floor but are willing to give and take a dig. I fancy McGregor as long as he doesn’t allow Khabib to take him to floor. I’d imagine the boxing will have helped with that as he’s already the best as far as the Thai/Kick boxing goes. As much of a gob shite as he is, don’t be lulled. Wilder is shite. AJ will take him in 5 if they ever meet, the Fury who fought Klitschko does him in 3. The Fury who went the distance with the lad off of Aldi, not so much. Then again he’s capable of putting the hard work in to get himself back where he was. Both lads seem to be focusing on AJ rather than the fight that’s actually happening. Fury is the boy as far as mind games go, I reckon he’s got Deontay looking beyond and not focusing on him, so I’m having him in that one too. Sorry!
  14. What about home fans staging a sit in outside away turnstiles for next televised home game (or gain agreement with away fans not to go in) plus no home fans enter for 10 minutes (or whatever). All clubs could do it over a sustained period. Obviously the Glasgow triplets (RIP Rangers) won’t contribute and likely to cause trouble for peaceful protestors whereby the peaceful ones get lifted... ???
  15. Those in charge are shiteing it that we might get serious money for him, and are feart of what we could potentially do with that, to upset their two horse race.
  16. So let me get this right; You can kick an opponent deliberately it's seen by the assistant referee, a red card given and its reduced to a yellow on appeal. You can kick an opponent deliberately somehow unseen by the officials and no retrospective action. You can elbow an opponent again somehow unseen by the officials and no retrospective action. You can win a 50/50 accidentally follow through on an opponent and its a retrospective two game ban??? I'm done.
  17. The additional seats should cover most if not all of that. 67k v 52k. I’m sure that’s what the SRU have figured anyway., and rightly so.
  18. Some gadgie on twitter suggesting we didn't sell out our 2017 SC Final allocation, which I find hard to believe, given the club told me it was sold out and I got my tickets through other means. Also someone else saying hibs started selling their allocations last year from the half way line so there could be no demand from the Tims for the unsold tickets.
  19. Hopefully he’s nae going or there’ll be none left. Boyd’s just a B&M Bargains version of Robbie Savage’s Primark version of, Minijc. That article is the the very definition of click bait. Plug heeded hun cunt.
  20. We did Scottish history first and second year, William Wallace, Rob Roy, Robert the Bruce James the I & V. Then it was WW's for Standard Grade, although I've a vague recollection of the Highland Clearances too (early 90's). Although we got to choose our "project" topic and I did the fishing industry in North East Scotland. Which surprisingly/unsurprisingly there was fuck all written about. Bulk of the info came from one book. When I started I thought there would be loads in the libraries of Peterheed and the Broch, but no.
  21. Saw all this on twitter yesterday. What relevance does it have to now? It's a non story in itself, as Peat says he ignored it and as we know, the league season was extended. It was 11 seasons ago. It involved a club that ceased to exist 6 years ago. Only thing that crossed my mind is, is this the deflectors being turned on for some bad news befalling the new club in the next week or two?
  22. Why would there need to be actual contact on his knee for that joint to take an abnormal stress load as a result from a kick to the leg? For arguments sake McKenna twists his knee as a result of the kick and stretches ligaments. The intent was the same it was "just a petulant swipe" there was no intention to injure the player, is it just unfortunate on McKenna and Aberdeen and still a yellow? Intent or no intent to injure it is a violent reaction. Petulance would have been a shoulder shove back. Raised hands/push probably a yellow. A kick, headbutt or thrown punch is excessive force whether contact is made or not. Otherwise you are opening a can of worms. When is a kick too hard or to which part of the body is there no intent to injure? If a headbutt is made to the opposition forehead (hardest part of the skull and unlikely to cause injury) and at a slow speed, it's a yellow? but a faster movement making contact with the eye-socket a red? A punch to the nose or one to the chest? What if you aim for the nose but hit fresh air? Who is the arbiter of what is excessive force and intent to injure? Grey areas make referee's jobs harder at all levels, as it enables people to question decisions. It should be black and white. As for pro's involvement in getting the rule adapted, fuck off just don't kick, punch, bite, headbutt anyone on the pitch. Problem solved.
  23. From the tribunal: Not sure this part (in bold) doesn't render everything else provided as mitigation null. The Ramos reference was in relation to the reasons provided in the tribunal. If McKenna had gone down screaming and clutching his knee would the original red have stood? As far as grass roots refs, I am aware through the couple I know (who have given up because of it) of regular threats of violence/actual violence following the issuing of cards; including being followed home after the game. If kicking an opponent is now up to interpretation, as to the severity of harm to the injured party, in the professional game. This kind of behaviour towards officials will only increase. Folk willing to referee games will decrease and likewise opportunities to play.
  24. The excessive force thing is a complete nonsense. Just look at the carry on's Ramos has, in every game with the slightest contact. If McKenna had gone down like Ramos does, is the red card upheld? That rule is a load of shite. Pisses me off as much as the if the defender makes contact with you in the box, don't try and stay on your feet, as you won't get the penalty. And lets not underestimate the effect it will have in the grass roots game, and how much harder are ref's going to have it at that level? Respect my arse.
  25. Oooft difficult one. I said £6-8 million and it’s bang in the middle. A few decent clauses including a decent sell on; 20% and that’s difficult to turn down. On one hand another 4 months like the end of last season and we might have a few more clubs interested and it’s £10-12 million being offered, on the other... I’m not even contemplating.
