  1. He is suggesting we will lose to tims as well as hearts and/or Partick. He's also basically saying they are guaranteed to beat us, huns and dundee. That is all the motivation all three teams need to beat the cunts, apart from the huns I'm hoping for isis to win that one. If it was so easy to open up that sort of lead why has it taken them 19 games to open up half that?
  2. Assume then Lewis Logan O’connor McKenna Considine McLean Shinnie Ross Christie Stewart Rooney Although given the midfield trio maybe Lewis Logan McKenna Considine Shinnie O’Connor McLean Etc.
  3. There is a part of me that is pleased that he is staying, better the devil you know. There was a part of me when, resigned to him going, was a little excited that a new manager would bring fresh ideas and impetus. Now he's staying I'm pleased. I wanted him when Calderwood was sacked and was pretty worried in the summer during the whole Sunderland month. But; This is the second time in six months we have been through this and both times it has had a negative impact on the club. In the summer it put us behind in our recruitment and this time has impacted on our form and thus our league position. That cannot happen again. There needs to be genuine commitment, not sound bites. The two days of not turning up to work following the refusal of our board for the huns to officially speak to McInnes stinks, and questions need to be addressed regarding this. This is not forgive and forget regardless of how funny it is that he's not going there. I hope, that if nothing else, McInnes has a commitment from our board for additional funds for strengthening the team. I also hope that there is renewed focus and an admittance that his summer recruitment has not been the best along with the drive to correct this in January. It'll take a minimum of second and/or the Scottish Cup along with points from both celtic and sevco to put it right in my head.
  4. Not entirely sure how I feel about that given the way it’s been handled by McInnes. Poses more questions than it answers. Has our board flat out refused him permission to speak with the huns, until compensation fee has been met and the huns have been unwilling/unable to meet it? Has (as I heard earlier through some online social medium or other) Tony Docherty refused to go and McInnes won’t go without him? Did he want to stay all along and has used this as a way to get more money out of board?
  5. That is nearly as out of touch an appointment as Alec Miller. Better not be true. *edit OH!! Are you saying your mate got it from a hun messageboard?
  6. Fair enough. I can't say I pay any attention to their finances, only what I pick up here and there. Which is, they are consistently running at a loss and are being funded through director loans. But maybe that's wrong? I get that the brand is a money making machine but since the demise of the original outfit there seems to be a dearth of non shady businessmen willing to associate themselves and part with their cash. And those currently doing so can't do so forever, surely? Regardless that wasn't really my point, that being that short of £20 - 50 million (on top of what they are generating now) being found McInnes won't challenge the tims, which is what the sevco-ites expect as a minimum.
  7. As much as I despise the cunt. I'd probably agree with that. Can't see the tims coming back in for him as manager, so little risk there. He'd likely be the most up for, noising up the huns and beating them to second. Think the question would be whether he thinks he has a better chance of achieving that here or at hibs. After that its a toss up between Neil/Clarke/Robinson/Ross.
  8. How long will those currently providing funding to keep them afloat continue to do so, once the hun hoards turn on them? I'll hazard that will be whatever season the tims are on for"10 in a row" with no sign of a title challenge from sevco. What happens then? If funding is withdrawn, the first time there is a late payment to HMRC they'll be on them. It's the first rule of running a business, if no one else gets paid make sure HMRC do. I'd hate to think what their P32 is, let alone the corporation tax. I'd imagine those costs are what the "soft" loans are covering, now.
  9. The issue will be cash. Cash ultimately rules where teams finish (give or take). That is modern fitba. While I don't disagree that next season, at least, we will be back to the oh so boring duopoly, that will never be enough for followers of sevco. So convinced are they that sevco and rangers are the same thing, they won't live with consistent second place finishes, and final/semi-final cup appearances. The financial mismanagement of that club since it's inception 5 years ago is criminal but is borne of the self same sense of entitlement that caused the liquidation of the original. That, is what McInnes' downfall will be. He has proved that he can achieve what his budget expects here, but he also proved he cannot over-achieve on said budget and that is the minimum the hun's expect. If their board beg/borrow/thieve the funds to actually get close to the tims, they'll bankrupt the club. It is lose lose. A completely unwinnable situation for any manger. That means that McInnes either has unjustified belief in his own abilities, or is such a hun cunt that he is blind to the mess he's about to walk into. This isn't onld rangers where league and cup wins, champions league appearances gets you a gig at a Birmingham City or a Watford or Bolton, when you leave. This is a sevco gig that gets you a job at a Blackpool, Fleetwood et al, when you get sacked.
  10. The only thing you can’t/couldn’t do as Aberdeen Manager is move from here to any of Celtic/Rangers/(and now)Sevco. Is it a coincidence that the one truly successful manager we’ve had in the last 30 odd years, knew it? So it’ll be cheers for the penalty shoot out win against Inverness in the league cup final 2014. But always remeber; It’s not even the same fucking club, that you were a squad player with, Derek. So you can fuck right off, you hun cunt. Oh! And have fun trying to maintain Morecambe’s football league status, in a couple of years time.
  11. Where is this £15 million investment coming from? They can't afford the circa £1 million now for McInnes. Lucky if he has £500k to spend in January, it'll be Walker and McLean on Bosmans (at which point McLean should be made to train with the under 5's) and they'll try for Moult. We should approach Motherwell, using the compensation, and promise that whatever the huns offer we'll pay £100k more, just to fuck McInnes off.
  12. I've no idea. Still, beggars can't be choosers, any hole's a goal.
  13. I think he knew when going to speak to Sunderland too. I think something else convinced him it was not the right move. What do you think the hun board have been doing, the last 5 weeks, while their PR team have been feeding stories to the Scottish press that McInnes is their man?
  14. I don't, other than McInnes has an agent, and if that is not what their function is, I don't know what it is. Why not negotiate yourself, once fee's have been agreed, then employ an employment law solicitor to protect your interests in the written contract? I think it's incredibly naive to think things are all above board in the murky world of football, when in regular life there is always a recruitment consultant trying to move you to a new position and willing to negotiate on your behalf behind your current employers back, with no contractual retainer like a football agent would have.
  15. Again, my point is McInnes knows what those terms are. At no point did I expect him to come out and publicly say he doesn't want it. The board now know that McInnes has agreed, in principal, to take the hun gig. All that is happening today is the Aberdeen board are holding our for what they are due or feel they are due. The hun board are trying to force our hand and let McInnes go on the cheap. The hun board haven't been fucking about looking at CV's for the last 5 weeks. Their original offer to McInnes wasn't to his satisfaction. McInnes' agent informed them what it would take for him to go there. They have since been scrambling down the back of their sofa/going round with their begging bowls out, to give him what he wants. Maybe they don't quite have it all and are now trying to force our hand, their mates in the press have helped them with this, or they are trying to get him on the cheap so he has an extra couple of hundred grand to play with. Fuck knows, but he's gone.
  16. Because that's how it works in football. It's always been unsaid but the carry on with Van Dijk to Liverpool in the summer confirmed it. Look at the volume of folk who were surprised with how Southampton reacted saying that "this is essentially how it works". The only reason Southampton reacted the way they did was because they were getting fed up with Liverpool taking all their best players. The hun have no money there is no way they would allow public knowledge of an approach if there was any chance McInnes was not certain to agree to go. The current board would be fucked, their followers would be going mental.
  17. To clarify, what I was saying was; I would assume when the approach to the club came it was relayed to McInnes. If McInnes had made it clear to the board he had no intention of going but didn't want to be the person to come out and say it, for "professional" reasons. That is not good enough, as far as I am concerned. If he didn't want to go it should have been him, now we are aware of an official approach, who came forward and turned it down publicly. That is irrelevant though. We know, before the hun have approached the club, "informal" discussions between the hun and McInnes' agent (as an intermediary) have taken place. I can't see the hun losing face by approaching our manager without being certain he would agree to go there. We are waiting on the hun ponying up now what we want or are contractually due, it is as simple as that. In consideration of the last few weeks, our board better have a plan in place for a replacement and if necessary treat any other club involved with the due respect. We should not be seen to be lowering ourselves to that scum clubs level.
  18. Just put up some pictures of some ripped 20 something lad then when you meet up and they say “your not the person in your pictures” reply “Aye well, far abouts is the dog? I only came to play with the dog” Talk about ice breaker... Alternatively swipe left or right, whichever direction means you think that they’re a pig, on the profiles that offend you.
  19. The whole fucking circus created by those cunts has fucked us. I’m not suggesting it is a McInnes led conspiracy at all. However if he had been “tapped up” by the huns, I think it’s a stretch to suggest he would be fully focussed and committed to our cause knowing 100% from him and his team could leave him with 12 points to catch following any potential move. Why would anyone make their new job harder before even starting it? Whole thing is a fucking mess, and stinks of the huns trying to create the situation we are in now and hoping that we blink first and they get him for nothing (or next to) after derailing our season. If it is that McInes doesn’t want it but professionally doesn’t want to be the one to come out and say it (hence the club rejecting the offer on his behalf) that is not good enough either, at his stage. OK, the situation we are in is not of his own doing. But our manager after two losses to them, if he does not want the job there, should be publicly ruling himself out after an official approach has been made. We are almost back to the same situation Scottish football was in pre liquidation of Rangers. Watch, as gates shrink again over the next 2-5 seasons. Who the fuck wants to pay money to watch a rigged “competition”. The media have made it quite clear there are only two teams worth playing for and managing in Scotland everything else is merely a stepping stone.
  20. This whole sorry saga has fucked McInnes and his hopes of a successful career. Whether he goes to the huns now or stays here, he will be managing in English league 2 (if anywhere) by the start of season 19/20. His position here is untenable, and the huns don’t have £800k to buy him out of his contract let alone finding the money to challenge the tim’s. Directors and decision makers at other clubs will also have taken note, how this has played out and the two questionable performances in the last two games. Huge question marks have to be raised with regards to sporting integrity, if he has been spoken to previous to the Hun games. Would the court of arbitration for sport be interested? Surely we’d have a case for further compensation from the huns if we were to miss out on Europe or second place by less than six points? New club, still the same cheating cunts.
  21. Empress Ballroom while an iconic gig had/has shite sound, so neither. The Etihad in 2016 was the tightest they’ve ever been. I reckon. All were on top form and acoustics lent themselves to the occasion.
  22. What are our strengths at the minute? We are minus an entire midfield, almost. As has been seen against Motherwell, the sevco, and timothy. Tansey not good enough (on current form), O'Connor a CB, no RM at all. Shinnie, spends his time covering for Considine, who has not been good enough this season, and Christie who is not our player but I'd suggest is a number 10 ideally. We have two LM's but neither get a start and one is invariably brought on at RM. McLean has downed tools so not even worth the mention. This is where managers (good ones) create a system and convert players. Players have a month. Currently; ....................Lewis........................... Logan......Arnason.....McKenna.....(New) (New).....(New).......Shinnie.......GMS ............................Christie................. ......................May............................ I'd keep Rooney and Considine, Tansey to see if he can improve, everyone else can go in order to improve starting line up in the deficient positions. If you stick best players in the SPL in those positions we win the league, which while never realistic, indicates how close we are and again good scouting could identify those players.
  23. I’d describe the formation as 3-1 cos fuck knows where the rest of them are.
  24. The one I (vaguely) remember would have been early 90's. There were a few coins going over but it was definitely a half eaten pie that hit Dallas.
  25. This... That wasn't from the Merkland and it hit Hugh Dallas at a corner (might have been against the huns) and he went down like it was a small building had fell on him?
