lol what does this even mean If you were english voting in england last night, you'd have voted for brexit...

As soon as I had the push notification this morning I thought "Labour, Yorkshire, MP. There will be mental health issues, but it'll be an anti immigration, anti EU nutter." TBF the amount of trolling being done on social media by the leave supporters is enough to drive the most sensible folk crazy. Question Time cancelled because politicians can't be trusted not to point score on the murder of a colleague.

Have we seen the first act of terrorism borne from the xenophobic agenda brought by the Brexit vote and backed by UKIP, BNP, Britains First and the worst of the Tory party?
-
I've been telling my nephews for over a year that we are going to sign Jackson Irvine. They're County ST holders. Would be good if I could show off my prophet like abilities.
-
No idea who he is. Signing defenders from relegated teams is never a good idea. Signing defenders with two relegation's on their CV is a fucking awful idea.

I'm voting remain, as I like my car being washed, eating fresh fruit, hotel rooms to be clean, offices to be clean, old people being cared for, people in hospital being cared for, supermarket shelves to be stocked, houses being built, factories making stuff.... Interestingly (or not) I have so far this year recruited about 25 Romanians, so unsure if they are getting in before the vote incase they cannot enter if it's leave.

Would it not be better of at least one of those 3/4G full sized pitches was indoor?

Fuck sake Killie.

Exactly my thoughts when I read the BBC article. In fact, Fuck it I went 10.

Didn't create anything after the goal, but that has to be the single most corrupt referee performances I have ever witnessed. You apparently make your own luck, well in that case Taylor cost us with his "I'm a ball playing centre back (without the skill)" FUCK UP. Then again that by the law of averages (according to Billy I can't find clothes to fit me Dodds) that Taylor fuck up cancels out; Caley finishing with 11 players despite Vigurs who had fouls in double figures, Devine's last man Foul on Rooney, one other that I'm sure I'm that wound up I can't think and Draper diving for their penalty and several fouls including..., The second of our stone wallers. Draper body slams Taylor to the ground not even looking at the ball, penalty no question. Our first (correct) claim and their penalty, regardless of Taylor not making contact with Draper for theirs, were identical. All you can ask is consistency give one give the other. Then we have our goal (disallowed) and their goal (allowed). Their goal was correctly allowed Collum does well by going to his assistant after seeing the Caley player jump for, but not make contact with the ball, to establish where/when the offside was. Despite being correct by this poor you have to wonder why he has done this. It's not often the referee questions his assistants decision, if ever... Again having done it once it needed to be done again at our "goal". More than anything else consistency is all, as a fan, you can ask for. Given the obvious inconsistencies tonight and give the consequences of the result the only description Collums performance merits, is corrupt. Will that assessment make the MSM? I doubt it.

When you've got situations like this and the more "high profile" cases of Berahino and possibly Stones how long will it be before we see a footballer challenge the contracts system? I didn't particularly want us to sign Tansey and certainly didn't feel he was worth £200k, nor do I feel any sympathy for millionaire footballers not getting to play for other teams offering to increase their weekly wage by more then the national average yearly wage, but in this day it is an odd system that allows people to be treated as commodities. I'm not saying that it is wrong that clubs protect their investments in players just that if a player was to take this to European Court of Human Rights or whatever we may see a ruling that makes the one Bosman received seem a minor inconvenience. The answer, presumably, is "Release Clauses" with a formula set out by FIFA or whatever may come to replace it.

Missed his penalty in the League Cup final did he nae? So already played an integral part in the Dons winning some silverware.

When I saw the goals from Friday night I though, "that Bogdan is pish and they have a perfectly good keeper on loan at Aberdeen that they can't recall bet that's annoying the fuck out of Klopp..." Wonder what the agreement was and whether we may have received a financial sweetener to allow them to break any non-recall clause?

I took my kids to see the New Star Wars and the Peanuts movie before Christmas. New Star Wars amused me as it was original Star Wars rebooted without it having the stigma of being referred to as a reboot. My 10 year old lad enjoyed, my 8 year old daughter wanted to know how long was left after about 1/2 an hour. Peanuts movie I wanted to know how long was left after less than 5 minutes. Got an Amazon Fire stick for Christmas and proceeded to install Kodi and Spintztv (or similar). Then got moaned at for sitting down to watch Creed (as its not a Christmas Movie apparently). I enjoyed it, like star Wars its a reboot in all but name, although I suppose all the Rocky films are in a way. Vince Howard from Friday night Lights was good as Adonis. Nice touch using Andre Ward and Tony Bellew. The fight with Leo Sporino is well choreographed as were the sparring earlier in the film, just a shame the Pretty RiCky Conlon reverted to the traditional Rocky style of constant knock-out punches being landed with unrealistic results. Also watched Hateful 8 was really looking forward to it but finished it a little disappointed. It's a Tarantino film and its a western so it should have been right up my street. I preferred Django. Perhaps if I was American and could buy into the North South divides and racial tensions that simmer just under the surface of everyday American life I may have bought into the characters more, but I'm not so I didn't. I will give it another watch as I sat down to it after driving 600 miles in a day. Oh and I watched Joy the story of the inventor of the magic mop... Odd choice of a story, odd interest from A list actors in taking on roles in the film, odd kind of story telling, very odd family. Oddly enjoyable.

Presume they need their mates in the media touting bread boy for any and every job in england in the hope that a compensation package will enable them make it till the end of the season? -
I went to an EFA CPD session a few years ago. The two young lads taking it gave us a list of players, Carrick, Lampard, Gerrard, Xavi, etc. and asked who was the best player. There was a fair bit of discussion. I though it was a shite question without criteria and told them so, and let my group get on with it (I think the answer the group gave was Carrick because the loud funny one was a Man U fan). All the groups answered and gave their reasons. Then the two smug lads told us it was Xavi as he has the most passes and highest pass completion rate in top flight European football. I piped up "Well if that's your criteria your answer is wrong. Leon Britton is the best player in the world" They looked incredulously at me, one even asked who Leon Britton was... I suppose they were young lads being employed by the FA so their arrogance led them to believe they were more knowledgable than a load of dad coaches and were keen to use stats to prove their theory. That said, I believe stats can be used effectively in football just not in isolation and not by the wrong people. They can't be used to prove an opinion but could be used collectively to form opinion, which could then be tested for accuracy by observation of actual play. Similarly I was also told by an old head "Never tell your players they are unlucky, there is no bad luck in football only bad technique. Practice makes permanent." I wonder if the flying start had a few believing their own hype. There were mentions of title challenges etc. Our best run's come when everyone is keeping their heads down. McInnes needs to get the focus back.

Expected, pre-match, to get gubbed. Ended it feeling cheated. Rarely can you question rugby referee's decisions. Maitland's sin binning was a joke. It's all very well going to the TMO but surely it needs to be real time for that decision. When referee's went what felt like ten games before giving a try without going to the TMO at the start of the tournament why didn't such an important decision warrant it? I can only assume the assured claims of the convicts convinced him as rarely do you see such blatant gamesmanship. I wonder if we'll see a Argie v NZ final.

Is it not this week that the Charles Green hearing as to whether Sevco are liable for his legal expenses was happening? What was the result of that?
-
In a country where Nick Blackman is worth £1 million, it's a fucking bargain.
-
A sulky hun (RIP) whose "idol" was a wife beating alkie. Who at 23 has barely played a seasons worth of first team games. I can understand why Hibs wouldn't want The Sevco to have him, but can't see why a team with title ambitions would need him, let alone look to pay a fee to secure his services. If I was the rest of the lads in the dressing room I'd be pissing in his shoes and cutting his favourite tracksuit up, until such times as Stubbs has him training separately.

Was thinking last night. Mings and Fraser down the left side, side sounds almost as good as Hayes and Shinnie. Proof, if needed, that ip-switch are still nae as good as us.

Funny, Cheltenham signed the Wayalzzz U21 keeper the season after we had Jack Butland (engerland U19 keeper) on loan. Jack relegated Scott Brown to the bench. Connor Roberts went on to not play for Bangor City. Hopefully Aberdeen get the next Jack Butland on loan (only from the other side of the Severn) but if 5' 10" is accurate...
