I'm going to guess the court case Duff and Phelps brought questioning the validity of Ticketus' claim on future season ticket sales has been found in favour of Ticketus. -

As funny as the thought of 100k of them bothering their arses to turn up is (although perhaps they could rope in the JMG mob to organise it?), this is my favourite post... -

How the fuck can a team in administration and still haemorrhaging money, whose players have taken a 75% pay cut, afford to waste money on travelling as a team and staying overnight in a city 50 odd miles away. Let alone reduce the value of an asset by pushing Laugherty out the door. If I was a creditor, reading that, I'd be going for a winding up order. -

It sounds like he thinks he can hide the assets in a shell company then leave Duff and Phelps to sort out the debts of Rangers Plc then once that's done buy back Rangers Plc and move the assets back to them. But he can't be doing that as that would be illegal. This and his get out of jail free in the minds of the knuckle draggers, with his ludicrous demands of the SPL and his unwillingness to secure the preferred bidder status surely suggests he's just another Shyster on some kind of ego trip. -
Gretna would have been SPL woudl it not as it was SPL fixtures they couldn't fulfil. Didn't we lose 6 points because of it? Then again it's unlikely the huns would be unable to fulfil their fixtures.
-
Gretna were demoted to 3rd division due to being unable to fulfil their fixtures. Having looked up Livi it appears they were demoted to the third for going into administration for a second time??

Who are these 194 non-huns that want Newco huns in the SPL?

Major Restructuring in the Pipeline for SPL
baggy89 replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
My first thought was this: Then I read the BBC article and I started to think like this; Wouldn't be at all surprised if its another option to ensure the huns stay in the top league without any form of punishment and ensure the bulk of revenue is still split between the ugly sisters. The SPL Chairmen are raising questions about how much revenue is actually created by having an unfairly dominant OF compared to having an actual competitive league, so lets get a load of SFL Chairmen in who will vote for the untold wealth and riches the OF will bring to their struggling little clubs on their annual or biannual visit. I may be way off the mark but... = Old Firm propaganda = The huns are dying and no one is helping them. = we're fed up of the SPL 10's posturing and we're not going to change anything -
SPL Fail Play Rules and DST Response
baggy89 replied to glasgow sheep's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
It's an absolute fucking nonsense and a complete disgrace. 10 point deduction for two years and decreased revenue for three, for going out of business? Fuck Financial Fair Play, it's more like Financial Fair Game. It'll be interesting to see if the publishing of such lax restrictions on organised cheating will see a few more chancers and crooks buying Scottish football clubs. For us: Spend some money in the summer to try to get a Champions League slot if we make it and get to the group stages we've covered the excess spend and a proportion of our debt. If it doesn't work go into admin before the end of the season take the 15 point hit then liquidate AFC 1903 Plc. and form a Newco. Two seasons of better players to counteract the 10 point per season deduction and just in time for the new ground creating greater internal revenue to compensate for the loss in SPL revenue. Seems odd that no one bought Gretna to claim their SPL "share" if the previous rules were even less existent. -
Odd that Coppell has been inserted a DoF today. I assumed the crook walked and took the Rotherham job because the source of creepies money had or was about to disappear. It'll be interesting to see how long Brewster lasts as I'd always assumed he'd be too principled to get involved in the brown envelope culture that seems to follow Evans around.

£136k to loan Kyle Bartley for a season, for a club in financial difficulties? I know when Sanchez Watt joined Crawley it was said that several Championship clubs had enquired but been put off by the loan fee. Yet more proof (if needed) that some football clubs are in La La land as far as financial management is concerned. -
Tad unfair... Brian Wilson was twice the player Foster is.

I believe they can/will then pursue the directors involved in the EBT's, directly. -
It's a proper steel jerry can and I have a funnel for pouring direct into a filler neck so no filling glass jugs in the kitchen with the gas hob on to boil the tatties. How much does it cost to buy government policy, again?
-
I feel like a panic buyer because I've filled my company's pool cars up and a jerry can. Thing is we provide essential services (which would qualify for priority fuel if there was an actual fuel shortage) that rely on my employees travelling by car around a pretty rural area and due to the actual panic buyers who have filled up all their households cars and 4 jerry cans for the cars to sit on their drives, there is no petrol in any of the petrol stations in my town. And for the record I've already had to top up a car with the jerry can as one of the girls ran out of fuel after failing to find garage with petrol in time.

So the deal stands but at the minute ticketus are owed no money as next years season tickets are not sold. When they are ticketus will become a creditor but with no hold over physical assets. So duff and phelps sell off season tickets then go for a CVA?? Pity Whyte didn't sell all the 2012 till 2015 season tickets to fans in a oner as at that point ticketus could well have become the major creditor and blocked any CVA. -

# Ah fair enough.
-
Oh I thought they were owed money from the Wallace sale. Was there not something in January that Hearts were willing to accept £700k and write off the remaining £300k in order to at least get some payment?
-
Presume Vlad will claim he can't pay due to not receiving the monies owed to them by the hun.
