  1. Being that we'd have to be in a position to offer him a contract to be entitled to the compo I'd guess he'd be welcomed taken back here (the club that started his career) if it really was about re-starting his career. Then again, to do that he'd have to admit to himself that he's not as good as he thinks he is. Best for all concerned that he fucks off to the huns, we get the compo, huns go into administration, Aluko gets a small percentage of what he thinks he's getting when he signs, Aluko performs as we know he does (1 game in 10), he then dots about L2 & the conference for the rest of his career while we start to finish regularly above the huns as financial reality hits home in Glasgow.
  2. Why would a championship club want him?? Couldn't cut it at Brum in the Championship couldn't even cut it at Blackpool in L1. I think at best ambitious L2 sides might be interested, but with small budgets even someone like Crawley would be looking at his injury record and thinking that's a luxury we can't afford.
  3. Exactly my thoughts. A month and a half till some of our better players can start pre-contract negotiations elsewhere and we can be assured no-one at the club could care less?? FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!
  4. Was there not a back page of the P&J photo of him in the Soother with a Dons scarf above his head?
  5. Bet bigal is glad he's only old and not one of them foreigners
  6. Still Dave is conspicuous by his absence.......
  7. I did and pretty sure Dave did too.
  8. I have a feeling I may have stepped into a delorean fitted with a flux capacitor.
  9. How did Durrant come by this "Aberdeen instinct"? Was it ingrained by Simmie's studs?
  10. I hope he didn't wear a scrum cap.
  11. I wasn't suggesting that where Manc should have posted it, merely offering a reason as to why he's signed for Donny.

  13. Arnason's yellow after 8 minutes set the tone. I was surprised we made it to half time without some of ours being sent off. Such was the reffing, I kind of expected Milsom to get a talking too over being assaulted. And how the huns didn't get at least a free kick after Naismith got fouled by the turf... I know Mackie isn't the greatest but to me it looked like a tug on his shirt the way his hand went up looked like it was an attempt at correcting his balance. If it was in the EPL it would have been a pen, no question. I can only assume Columnt was on some kind of bonus scheme to make sure at least one Aberdeen player got a red card. After Fallon got sent to the dressing room for having the audacity to challenge for a header. The real low point for me, however, was Booth's co-commentary.
  14. Surely Dr Tyrell will be able to sort him out??
  15. That's not his fault though .
  16. McGhee was manager at the time Sone fucked off to the Nigerian U20 side. Why did he feel it either acceptable to do that or feel like like he couldn't give two shits what McGhee thought. Either way it wasn't McGhee's fault, according to McGhee. According to McGhee HIS assistant Scott Leitch "has to be reeled in as he's one of those guys who gets emotional and angry" but isn't a bully. That much of not a bully that a players mum travels from London to become involved in the non-bullying. All of that is irrelevant anyway has 30 years ago Fergie used to throw teacups at them. Is it any wonder the players disliked sunday training - someone involved in the interview with Mark McGhee also didn't like Sunday training. Not Mark McGhee's fault though. The secretary, dinner ladies, groundsmen, players, the players mums, media, fans, chairman... didn't instantly want to be Mark McGhee's best friend and run around after him, who's fault??? Not Mark McGhee's. So in consideration you can see why Mark McGhee can rest easy knowing that the reason he wasn't able to sweep in and instantly alter the whole clubs outlook from top to bottom, implement change, and improve results is not Mark McGhee's. I can see Rockets points but to deny the article is arrogant self serving pish from a very bitter man is as blinkered as denying there is anything deeper wrong with the club. Something that I don't think anyone here is saying.
  17. Did you get with the hotels? I got two for the Saturday with extortionate hotel rooms. Trying for some more for a couple of mates but they can sleep on the streets for all I care.
  18. Just watched the empress ballroom gig in preparation of being disappointed come 10:00 the morn.
  19. What the Fuck is this
  20. I think we should have a play-off against Atletico Madrid to see who was the true winner of the 09/10 Europa League after we fielded an ineligible manager against Sigma Olamuc.
  21. Definitely done something similar in the past and was equally dismissive of Varga, then. Was there not some issue where he got voted second best AFC player of all time behind Varga and has been in a sulk about it since.
  22. Fairly certain the "two cars on the driveway" was aimed at Scott Morrison. Not sure it needs contextualised further as I'd assume Rockets evaluation of the boy would not have been too different from Jimmy's.
  23. I'm well aware of the oft repeated soundbites. Do you STILL merely pay lip service to your stated opinion that the board of AFC continually make incorrect decisions at incorrect times to the detriment of the football part of the business, in order to attempt to have confrontations with usernames on the Internet?
