  1. Why don't all the other clubs form a pact whereby they all arrange a "friendly" for the weekend they have a game against the OF. If they work it right they could in effect leave the OF needing to play 12 games extra games between them by the time the first round of fixtures are past. It might show our league up as a farce but at least it will show it up to the rest of the world to be the OF pandering farce that it is, with the added bonus of leaving the bigots in a fuck of a mess with fixtures.
  2. I'm talking about next year , I definitely did not get Derby and Preston mixed up in my head .
  3. Wrong type of player for L1, Derby won't go up with the likes of Maguire up front and I doubt Maguire will get played much after the first couple of weeks. Championship and L2 you can get away with being a bit lightweight and teams that like to pass too feet do better on average in those leagues. L1 is a bit of an anomaly in that it is largely where the biggest and most physical players who still have a bit of talent end up.
  4. I think most transfer fees are worked out on how much the contracts are worth. So... Let's say Foster is on approx. £3k p/w with us he has two years left so let's says £312k plus a percentage of this season say 90% so about £450k maybe £500k if we're lucky. Would seem likely to me. The question you'd have to ask is; would you sell him to the Huns for that? I wouldn't
  5. Oh yeah, just googled it. Used to be the Championship play-off on the Saturday and L2 on the Bank Holiday.
  6. So will Greater Manchester Police
  7. Me neither, neither. Seems fucking ridiculous when there are folk having bought 30grands worth of tickets (i.e. Folk who are planing to sell on the tickets) are finding out first.
  8. From the BCC Gossip.
  9. Kate McCann's got a nice tan, must have been lying in the sun all week.
  10. It made me smile.
  11. At Cheltenham we had a player called Brian Wilson who was homesick for Stoke, so he moved to Bristol City.
  12. You'd have been alright if you'd stuck it in the floppy drive... But no you had to go for the USB, you dirty bastard.
  13. I blame Dave he was the last to post anything, I think his Computer might have AIDs.
  14. Is that all our Faroese contingent gone now? Keeping or attempting to keep 6 out of 17 isn't too bad.
  15. Depends how close a unit Barca are, it could well stir up Guardiola's players if they see how angered he is by Mourinho's comments. We shall see...
  16. HA HA! I don't think I was even aware that the Olympics after London were in Rio, in fact the thought that you might be referring to the Olympics completely bypassed me altogether.
  17. Suppose it'll be easier to get hotel rooms than in 2014?
  18. For the first it looks as if Naismith has over-run the ball before the clumsy challenge for a 50/50 ball has been made.
  19. Sure I read somewhere that Brown said he will experiment before the season finishes? which I took to mean those deemed not good enough or who are fucking off elsewhere will be dropped for some of the young lads?
  20. Sounds good, but how much are we betting most of our pre season games will involve mainly not good enough trialists.
  21. I thought only Milsom and Maguire were worthy of the shirt today, although I'd agree Smith and Aluko showed ability and with better players around them could be decent players for us. The depressing thing is that none of those are really likely to be here next season and all we ever seemed to see at Pittodrie is an ever decreasing ability level in our squad. The future is bleak.
  22. I was 9 we (me my Dad my mates and their Dads) were in the "Family" terracing which I think meant in reality a free for all. Still being 9 we could shout and sing whatever we felt like and there was fuck all the Tim's around us could do. Got a few skelps on the back of the head from the Dads and got told not to lower ourselves to "their" level, which may have been as a result of joining in with a few unsavoury noises made in the direction of Paul Elliot. Was convinced on the day that Gillhaus' header went through a hole in the net. Was Nicholas' effort not virtually straight from kickoff?
  23. Just stumbled on this. Whatever is built I'm sure we'll have a better view, come 2013, than West Ham...
  24. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/aberdeen-fc/kader/verein_370.html Went to the Hun page and its got Foster down as £880,000.
