  1. Bloody hell. Zander's certainly having a run of these. After his last set back I hoped he would be able to wipe his slate clean, and help us pick up a few points against some of our bogie teams. Instead it's blown up in his face.
  2. The type of folk going out downing 5 bottles of Miller(other carbonated water tasting beers are available) before battering, along with five of their mates, some 5 stone fifteen year old, are ordinarily the type of folk who describe real ales as rank. Unfortunately because the guys at brewdog with their "trendy" marketing have made a 15% (and now 30%) beer these same neds are going to want to buy and drink it because they think it will make them look hard. Probably helping add to their stories of being proper hardcore alkies. While I understand brewdog's point these guys aren't stupid enough not to realise the marketing and free publicity that it would create and I don't for one minute think that they were naive enough not to realise it would go full circle and this beer would come to attract the same type of drinkers that are attracted by the crate for £7 deals.
  3. Good on him and why not £10 million? James Milner at 22 has had two transfers to Newcastle for £4 million and Villa for £12 million. Then again Aaron Lennon only cost Spurs £1 million. I also like the way McGhee conveniently forgets about the £10 million debt and merely mentions it would be useful for the new stadium.
  4. Aye and he had been in England previously too. Although McCourt played for Rochdale.
  5. Aye and I'll expect McCann will be appearing on the Scott Mills program later in "aw what's uccuring" for: How many times can you mention "Aberdeen always raise their game against Rangers" and "Aberdeen fans live in the 80's", in 20 minutes.
  6. [afchat] I hope your not suggesting Jimmy's dross are any good. Your (sic) ghey. [/afchat] MMGMG
  7. As I said on the chat.donstalk Whitaker saw the line for the box and threw himself to the ground.CHEAT. Though it was Leitch getting told off, by the 4th official, McGhee had a word then Diamond asked what was going on. McGhee repeated what he said and Diamond and Mackie burst out laughing. Was well impressed with Foster, although I've never been a critic. Was there handbags with Grassi and boyd at the Kerr sending off? Have to say hard to choose a MOM. Who chooses the SKY (sponsors) one as thought Langfield was an apology for the Huns not winning. Did well but there was better attacking players for us. Of course no way could you have an attacking Aberdeen player win MOM as well as Aberdeen winning. That would suggest Aberdeen deserved to win. RESULT!
  8. Yeah bench looks bare Jack and Shaughnessey, assume Young got his start because he scuffed the cross bar on soccer AM.
  9. Grassi starting but Diamond on the bench??
  10. Plus if they've nae arms or legs they take up less room.
  11. I've loved every one of their beers that I've tried. Dogma being a particular favourite. Unfortunately since the limited run in my local Sainsbury's I can't find the fuckin stuff anywhere.
  12. Maybe with a "no way could it not be given" penalty for us after 8 minutes of injury time (to make it 2) just to confirm the mason has failed to get the Huns a draw.
  13. Although I'm decidedly unimpressed by McGhee's reign so far, based purely on results before MiniJC starts. I have a feeling we'll win this one. Surely luck at some point has to come in to play, we are due a win and the huns are due a loss. 2 -0.
  14. McRobbie? Good news though. Seemed to be raving about him on the televised matches. Had also read somewhere that the club weren't too hopeful of him signing on, such was the interest from elsewhere.
  15. I mentioned him being a traitor once but I think I got away with it. Just joking Mr Holden, if your reading, you big yank hun/tim . Sign for us, we can only pay you in chip suppers from Willies chipper, but we're a great laugh.
  16. Thing is he's been prolific before down here, I don't think it would be out-with the realms of possibility that Charlton, Southampton, Norwich, Notts County, Yeovil, if your talking proximity, and a fair few others are having a look at the situation. He's free, if he can recapture the form of 3 seasons ago it could be the touch paper for their promotion/relegation avoidance push and gives him another chance at the big bucks available in the Championship.
  17. MarkyMark made him run away crying, so doubt he'll be posting (Probably too busy triple padlocking his wallet anyway). Dave will be along in while to tell us how it'll be easy to get there once he's built a monorail to Nig , if that's any consolation.
  18. Aye but your discounting L1+ L2 clubs, who'll offer around what we can, some more some less with the added bonus of not having to move the entire length of the country.
  19. You'd think. Given his switching of international allegiances, I'll plump for one of the OF.

Depends how much influence Dennis has on team affairs nowadays. He seems to have always had his blue eyed boy out of the two drivers and no doubt in this instance it would be Hamilton. Maybe under the new regime both will be given a fair crack, although I suppose that will only be until one asserts their dominance and I don't think there is any denying Hamilton is faster.
  21. Wasn't Hamilton a £250K or £300K signing by the glorified caretaker Paul Hegarty? And people wonder how we ended up £10 million in debt . Winters partner was the disinterested virtually immobile Mike Newell was it not we certainly paid a fee for him too (£150K and I think another Miller signing or does Aitken win that accolade?).
  22. I have a memory that Hignett was supposedly on £7k a week with us. I also have in my head that we were a bargaining chip with 'boro that backfired, and he spent most of his time here trying to get away. Did he not give out about Millers coaching methods after he left? Was Miller not recommended to Milne by Craig Brown?
