  1. ALTHOUGH! I didn't realise we could use the emergency loan system, like league clubs in Englandshire, now.
  2. Same shit different year .
  3. Jerel always looked good he was someone I mentioned at some point in the past. Ricketts wasn't he the Arsenal trainee who decided that he was not going to get a chance because of the players they had in front of him and got himself a deal at spurs I think doing the negotiations himself. Been at wolves too? If I remember right Rocastle was being talked up a few years ago wasn't he? Maybe just lost his way?? Have to say I'd be pleased with these if they came off step in the right direction anyway.
  4. What I still fail to understand is why a manager who has been managing in Scotland for the last two years thought any team outwith the old firm would be able to sign players from the Championship.
  5. What's Rene Bot doing ATM. In fact my dad commented last night that he was hoping that Irvine might have stayed out after the half time draw. That sounds like a better option than Ritchie.
  6. When I read this I'm imagining a TV in a box with £20 notes, instead of polystyrene, offering protection.
  7. Aye, I would definitely take a 50% pay cut to go to tin pot company just because they had submitted a tender for a multi million pound contract (despite them having no chance of getting it or even having the resources to complete the contract if by some miracle they were chosen to take it on).
  8. Just off the phone to my Dad as he was walking back to the car. What I gleaned: We were only in the game for 10 minutes after they scored. Mulgrews free kick was a peach. Has no idea what their free kick, resulting in second goal was for (well he knew it was for handball). Olomouc were bigger and faster than ours all over the pitch. First to every ball. Not your typical continental team more Scottish in style just better and obviously fitter. Our team are all a bunch of poofy lightweights out muscled all too easily. We missed Diamond badly. They had two men on Aluko all match. He felt sorry for McGhee. Thinks that money will have to spent on the team otherwise fans will walk away. We will be destroyed by Celtic if the same team turns up. Apart from Paton and Maguire he barely recognised a name on the bench.
  9. Acording to Willie spin the reason Calderwood was sacked was because his lack of vision in improving the team. At least his vision was realistic. Jimmy's tactics were also mentioned, MMG superior tactics give us Young at RB and Duff at CB??? Dis-heartened is not the word.
  10. 1 - 5!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!! God knows what's going on, but why McGhee thought he could bring in players from Plymouth is beyond me. All I can say is the pressure is really on now, anything less than third and a Hampden Final is FAILURE. Given the unnecessary money shelled out.
  11. He's already backed the club by getting rid of Calderwood and his cronies. Still at least we're playing exciting, attacking fitba, without getting a shot on target of course .
  12. What happened here? Did the reporter ask to speak to the two most deluded people involved with Hearts? Most football clubs owe HMRC money, so thats why HMRC slapped in a last resort winding up order, because that way if it went through they're guaranteed not to get the full amount owing .
  13. Agree with the above. Wasn't there an auction for a place in a team to play a legends 11 that only the Fund a Don organisers and their mates knew about until the auction had finished. Thus minimising the layout they would have to pay to play against a legends 11, but also meaning that fuck all was raised.
  14. I think you miss-heard your source. I heard "Aberdeen will sign some diddy, soon".
  15. Alex Miller = CUNT! The one thing all Aberdeen fan's agree on?? The only thing I still occasionally agonise over is whether it was a deliberate, premeditated, destruction of Aberdeen Football Club or whether a human being could actually be "that" incompetent.
  16. oN it wisna its cuz the JIGGAS is pooves and goted bumd by jimy!!! LOLZ!!!
  17. Whats Dyon Camero doing these days?
  18. Maybe McGhee's been on the phone to Sturrock: MMG: "ehhhh! Luggy gonay gie us Big Jim Patersonooo-oh and Steevo McLean-oh?" PS: "Fit'll ye gie me for them" MMG: "eehm ahve got nae money, fit aboot I let you in on a secret signing I'm making, he's magic, the next Desailly! The boys name Reda Johnson plays for Amiens" PS: "Well Mark I'm still nae geein you Jim and Steeve, but Reda Johnson fae Amiens you say!" MMG: "Ah Shit!"
  19. I dunno said it before there are a lot of good keepers in the lower reaches of English football. And as I said earlier given the managers that have signed him he must have something about him. As for competition for the No 1 spot, that can only be a good thing, surely? Perhaps with a second choice keeper that knows what he's doing it will give Leighton more time to work with Bateman and Langfield. Presumably he won't have to worry too much about showing Bertie what a fitba looks like, how to catch it, where to stand, what a goal posts looks like etc. anymore.
  20. Would have been signed by Martin Allen for Brentford And Martin Ling at Orient, and Roeder?? at Norwich so the boy must have something. The Brentford side he played for were a good side I'm guessing he would have been part of the team that got to the FA cup 5th round (or was it the qfinals) beating Sunderland?? on the way. Can't say I can remember seeing him but he might have been the guy we put 5 past in 2006 unless that was when he got injured.Got to be better than bossu and should provide Competion for Langfield.
  21. Oh yeah! I forgot about that little bit of nonsense.
  22. I wondered about Bossu when I saw that he hadn't been given the No. 12 shirt.
