  1. Windass and Rico dream team.
  2. You could just as easily have said Paterson was Fergie 13 years ago. We all know thats not particularly accurate.
  3. More I think about it the more I think it was Millwall one week and Northampton the week after. Think Maurice Ross was playing for Millwall at that time too.
  4. Just out of interest and not starting my own rumour but... Did McInnes and Jess play together in Englandshire, I have a feeling I am confused and merely saw them in cosecutive games, but as co-managers could the doom-mongers and naysayers have much to moan about?
  5. Maybe we should start our own Donstalk campaign. Delboy McInnes your time is upon us...
  6. Would assume that D. Young is being offered round in a desperate attempt to get rid. The first club to offer half a handful of magic beans will be very dissapointed with their purchase.
  7. he he! just edited my original post to say the same thing, great minds eh!
  8. This is why in one of the threads on here today I said I was warming to the idea of McInnes. He's done well with St Johnstone. A bit of an unknown quantity. Young in management terms, I'm assuming ambitious. A knowledge of English lower leagues from playing days. A knowledge of Scottish lower league from this season. Knows what Scottish fotball is about. Only problem would be him being an "ex hun ex jute ned" tm afchat .
  9. Granted not sure what they spent, Leicester I'm fairly sure just kept their relegated team together. He has had large amounts in League Two and League One terms Also be interested to know how big Leeds and Leicesters squads are fairly certain he had a huge squad in league one terms. Taking nothing away from D.Feruson he's done very well with his gambles on these non-league players, could have been very different if the financial backing was not there though. His team does play very effective attacking football, and with a future England international in goals are pretty solid at the back.
  10. OK these came from wiki, and I thought the fee for McLean was higher. They'll probably treble the money spent by selling any of Makail-Smith, George Boyd or McLean. But it's untrue to say Fergie jnr has had no financial support. He has done well cherry picking the talent from the conference but they were outbidding everyone else interested in taking a chance on those players. Does go to show what we're competing against when clubs like stevenage are getting quarter of a million for their talent. Feel I should add that it was the consensus of opinion that Posh were the best team seen at Whaddon Rd this season. Boyd and Makail-Smith being the standouts. It'll be interesting to see whether they hang onto those two as well as the already mentioned Aaron McLean, if not they will struggle next season. Something for Darren tro consider, IF he has been approached by Aberdeen.
  11. Been doing them for the last couple of years. Think he did his A licence last summer and was his intention to do his pro this season, have his book I'll look when I get home.
  12. Colchester Utd.
  13. O'Driscoll is probably not a bad shout. Only lost out on automatic promotion last year due to a last minute winner at Cheltenham and went up to the Championship via the play-offs. Have stayed there this season, spending fuck all. The more I think about it the more I'm liking the idea of McInnes, though. Oh, and Dave, Lee Miller failed to set the heather alight in League one, or Division Two as it was then.
  14. Saying over on the hat that the book on next boss has closed. Is an announcement imminent? or not as the case may be
  15. It would be easy to get riled up by some of the comments made by Jimmy in that article, but really what would be the point. The guy is obviously hurting, and anyone with half an ounce of common sense can see why. As far as I'm concerned no matter what your opinion of him while he was our manager the guy now deserves our respect, forget about the shortcomings and focus on the fact we are no longer a laughing stock.
  16. This wouldn't be the consortium mooted about a year and a half ago, that might need till thursday for the person heading it up to be free? Or is this one more realistic?
  17. Sums up my feelings on the situation, entirely.
  18. No mention of who put the Cunt in Scunthorpe getting back to the Championship at the expense of everyones favourite cockerney rhyming sparra's.
  19. Why, thank you David! I'd like to thank donstalk for making it all possible
  20. Doubt Blackpool would be impressed.
  21. I've been on the Pims all afternoon sitting in the sun bbq'ing. Now on the old le grande wife beater . Lambrini girls just want to have fun. Stella boys just want to beat wives.
  22. Don't worry I've been on the Hat and the soothsayers tell me that Aberdeen will, in fact, be hoisting the league champions flag over Pittodrie next season. And, if you don't agree you can fuck right off you fake plastic fans! Cunts don't know what your talking about. Stupid faggots probably got ethnicly weegie parents living off the dole! *edit for Dave
  23. I have seen the fture and it's bleak
  24. CC Was at Newcastle. Fit aboot Ricky Spragia?
