Presumably buying players out of their contracts involves paying them their wage in full, I don't really see how that can release funds for players as it's still money that'll have been budgeted for?

I'd take the League Cup over the European run, 1995 is now a distant memory but whilst I was proud of the run in Europe I was prouder to see my team lift a trophy, winning cups is what it's all about, not getting mortal in Madrid etc, albeit it was great fun.

Couldn't disagree more about Folly, he's been superb and that's before taking into consideration that he's doing all of Hartley's running for him. Can't see any of our players being wanted by any other club.

I'm sure it will be also but have to say I thought the big thing about moving stadiums was to get that milestone debt off our neck so to speak. Crazy they think the stadium will be ready for 2013 and we're just going into 2011? Did the RDU not take about 2 years on its own to build?
