  1. He always, to me anyway, says what I want to hear to an extent. That said no manager is going to just admit the situation is hopeless and nothing can be done. Interesting not complaining about the budget.
  2. "He is a player who we know is well good enough to help us," McGhee said. Apart from the weegie speak i'd be amazed if this constitutes admitting an interest.
  3. Bit surprised by your post, I assume you have posted under that name for years on the various forums and always found your posts to be pretty balanced.....then you revert to the typical SPL is not attacking stereotype when folk watch division one games or lower league games I have noticed folk doing it. Even as an Adeen fan in the past few weeks you would presumably have seen a 4-4 epic against celtic but you haven't seen the sort of attacking football produced in a 1-0 win at firhill in years?
  4. Good win, onwards and upwards.
  5. Yeah, I don't think its rocket science what the boy is saying, the worst thing about supporting Aberdeen at the current time is the feeling that age dependent we have another 60 years of this shite to watch. Its the feeling of belonging and the willing for success that makes football so much better a sport than golf/rugby and all those other shite sports.
  6. ;D He's shite min.
  7. Where the fuk is dundonald?
  8. It was obvious the media would ask him about it but he's realistic about it, it will frustrate him as someone who has always wanted to better himself that he's basically gone from being a candidate to having no chance due to what's happened at Adeen. If we were 3rd in the table, in the latter stages of the cups etc I think he'd be a cert. Sadly for everyone concerned its just not happened.
  9. The fact is there's no merit to McMaster claim as Miller finished runners up in 4 or 5 competitions to rangers the following two seasons if I remember right. At that time rangers had a great team and Miller tried to change it to move us up a level. I don't also think that Chris Anderson dying had anywhere near the impact that Murray's millions at rangers and latterly McCann's turning around of celtic did.
  10. Killie losing again
  11. Great result for Ross County, my entire family is from Dingwall. Can't share anyone else's interest in going to see them in a semi final though.
  12. I guess a positive with targeting players from Caley Thistle is that we won't get the "don't want to move North" card thrown at us?
  13. Is he getting a game down there?
  14. They couldn't beat or create anything against 9 men, they are murder.
  15. Can't believe we won't beat St Mirren, they will get pumped tonight and their confidence will be lower than ours.
  16. Must be a major cock up by the SPL as St Johnstone seem to think its happening as well; http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=787
  17. Presumably one at least will be O'Brien from Motherwell?
  18. I really hope the cull happens, McGhee's last chance on the signings front, imo none of his signings have been any good so far.
  19. Club have to do something to attract folk and realise season ticket holders are probably getting pretty fed up. What can the club really do other than the promotion they have offered though?
  20. Pitch was looking a bit better Saturday, think by the time we play St Johnstone it may even be playable.
  21. True, but surely managers can't take that into to much consideration? IMO the manager should base it on a match day, who gives a feck if someone has a great game in the daily 5's game? I think that your probably spot on and that each day McGhee see's Duff and his technical ability is shown up continually but if he's more effective on a match day that's all that should matter imo.
  22. There was a lot of jeering at 2-0.

First 25 minutes was dreadful, probably up there with the worst i've seen in years. Once we scored confidence came back, think Mulgrew put in a great ball and Diamond headered it home. It was a defo pen. Paterson and Aluko offered nothing on the left, thought Kerr had a decent game but Paton probably MOTM for me. We defo deserved a draw but hopefully we can build on it and actually win a game of football next weekend.
  24. Good sesh?
